Within one year, the carpet started buckling in areas. I suggested she call them to complain when it started happening, but she would not. She didn't want to cause a problem. Not speaking up is totally on us. The buckling has gotten progressively worse over the time and has now taken over most of the carpet. It was recommended to us to use Jamison Carpet & Flooring, as our neighbor's daughter had used them and was pleased. Don't get me wrong, the owner and staff are very nice, but the work is less than good.

We had 5 rooms, a hallway and some stairs to carpet. Pandolfi Dante was a fairly long drive for us - about 40 minutes, but we found the staff very helpful and attentive. They listened to what they wanted and showed us the products that matched our needs. We priced out several products at their site and they had a salesperson come and measure. He was very pleasant and professional (unlike some of their competitors). To gauge price, we went to a local provider, Bob Wagner Flooring, in Downingtown, PA. We asked them for the exact same product as that which we had selected at Pandolfi with the exact measurements that we had received from Pandolfi. Bob Wagner quoted us almost double the price we got from Pandolfi and tried to upsell us on padding. Bob Wagner's included padding is 2lb - Pandolfi's is 6lb, so in order to get a true comparison we'd have had to upgrade the padding for additional cost over the already-high Bob Wagner price. Further, when the Bob Wagner salesperson saw our reaction to the price and the padding upsell, she told us that if we came in that weekend when they were having a sale, we might be able to get a better price and she could talk it over with her manager. Wow, I thought I was buying carpet, not a used car. Needless to say, we were turned off by Bob Wagner. Because we were having some additional work done by a paint contractor at the same time, we had some special scheduling needs and Pandolfi was flexible with us. Their installers on the 1st day left a bit to be desired but we asked them to change some things and they accommodated us. They also forgot their vacuum on the first day, and asked to use ours, clogging it. This chafed me but the salesperson was very apologetic when I called to complain and on the 2nd visit they had their own vacuum. All in all, I think they took a very "do the right thing" attitude and I'm willing to give them a pass on the vacuum for the $2500 I saved. I'd definitely use them again and have been recommending them to friends and family.

Pricing was very reasonable. Scheduling was easy - Adam came out to do our measurements on a Saturday which helped accommodate my work schedule. I had given him a general idea over the phone of what I was looking for and he brought many samples for me to choose from. He offered recommendations based on durable and ease to clean along with maintenance and warranty information (having a Golden Retriever and wanting light colored carpet, I wanted to make sure we were covered and the carpet cleaned up well!) We ultimately decided to go with the higher priced per square foot carpet which was still less then the other estimate we received from another company! The carpet installers were friendly, professional, did a perfect job - I honestly am not even sure they stopped for a break! He was a down to earth, easy to talk to guy who walked me through carpet and padding selection. Gene gave me a guesstimate on the price but finalized the price when he came to measure the bedroom. Final price was almost identical. The installation price included moving furniture, removing and taking the old carpet and padding, installation and cleanup. Gene was on time, professional, and assured me that the installers were CERTIFIED installers. Lucky for me, there was a cancellation which allowed an earlier installation date. The installers, Adam and Daniel, arrived on time, got to work as soon as they arrived and laid the carpet to perfection....including a tricky installation in my closet that had built in closet storage. My bedroom and area outside the bedroom was left spotless! I highly recommend this local family business. Their prices were right on target, the people were a pleasure to work with, scheduling installation was easy, and my new carpeted bedroom looks awesome.
