I went to go see Superman! James Gunn's Superman. On a Thursday, the day before opening to the entire world! 7-10-2025. In IMAX, at 7pm. The theater was not too crowded or busy. It was really nice! The movie was very good, a definite hit! I would give it a solid B+. I just love Superman! DC comics. The EVO Homestead theater is huge! They even have a parking garage! They have games, snacks, restaurant, 15+ boiling alley, a fully stocked bar! The seating, chairs is amazing! It's reclining! Comfortable seatings, friendly service, excellent food, super good movie! I visited this place two times, first time was to watch a movie , before watching the movie we did have a few cocktails at the bar. The MAIN reason why this place is even getting a 2-star is because of the service and attentiveness the bartender gave us. Other than that , this place is absolute garbage. Unfortunately ,this is the only theater near me in homestead with somewhat of an arcade section, and well I will tell you, also garbage. Do not even dare spend your money. The friend I was with decided to buy some credits to use to play games , and I'd say only 4 machines worked. She spent $50 on getting game credit, and how sad to know we couldn't enjoy the arcade more than 10 minutes. For someone who works in hospitality , this place needs to get it together .The managers here and ownership should be extremely embarrassed to work/own here. Where do I even begin? What started off as an undesirable experience quickly turned into an amazing one, thanks to true customer service! It's rare these days to come across a manager who genuinely gets it, but EVO's management did just that. So I wanted to go see Bada decided to come here. It is a new location. They have a parking garage which is four dollars every hour on the place is really nice. It has a food station a bar, bowling and ice cream station. The lady that attended me with the ticket. She was super nice and attentive, the place is really clean. This place never disappoints. The manager at the Bowling Alley, Danny and his crew, Danayia, Sosa, Jaylene, and Maya, are breath of fresh air as this pertains to wonderful employees. I know they have to be tired the way they walk around here and serve all of the customers. They go back-and-forth and make sure that everybody is satisfied with everything, but they do it with a smile. This team goes above and beyond the call of duty. My son was diving in Key Largo, and not being into fishing, scuba or drinking, I decided to head to HomeStead and visit Evo Entertainment for lunch and a movie. They have parking garage, but it cost $4/hour which was surprising as I already know I would be spending plenty for a movie, lunch, entertainment and movie snacks. Despite that, $16 for 3hrs 20 mins of parking. They have food on the cinema side (hot dogs, burgers, etc) as well as a walk up food stand with additional items like bone in or boneless wings. I opted for a few wings which were reasonably priced, but $6 for a bottle of water was my second cost related surprise. You can see there is a theme here. In addition to bowling they also have some arcade machines. I added a video to show how nice the place is, and since it was just after opening it was not busy. Move people came in later. Once I was done here, I headed to my 12:30 movie, The theatre is also nice. Some of the seats are pretty worn, but it functioned just fine and reclined all the way back. The bathrooms were also well maintained. If you are looking for a place to spend a few hours, give Evo a visit. read more

I don't know what has happened to this place. I have been coming here since the theater opened and have always recommended it to everyone. A year ago I would have given this place 5 stars, but lately thumbs down. The nice screen, comfy, reclinable seats and the surround sound are amazing, which is why I'm giving them at least 2 stars. Two weeks ago I came to see Thor. The bathroom was super dirty and my theater seat still had the dirty candy wrappers and cup from the previous person that must of been sitting here, the movie before. I thought maybe it was a fluke, maybe they didn't have enough staff that day, or maybe they just forgot. I didn't think much about it since my previous experience with this place has been great. Last night I returned to watch Nope, and that is exactly how I felt about my experience. It started at the concession stand. I asked for a pretzel and the person working at the stand couldn't even tell me how much it was because he didn't know and then the screen with the prices didn't have it listed because they only had the price for the big pretzel, not the small one, which is the only one they had there. The guy was totally lost. Then I thought I would get some nachos, but when I looked at the self serve cheese and chili station it was disgusting. I should of taken a picture of it. There is no reason for it to look like that when there are two workers behind the counter just hangin out and talking. I went to use the restroom before going in to the movie and the there was no soap to wash your hands. The only thing they had was a bottle of hand sanitizer next to the sink that I assume is what they wanted people to use instead, which smelled yucky. Then I go to finally sit down and relax to watch my movie and as I walk up to my assigned seat the disappointment continued. My seat was greasy and had popcorn on the sides. My tray had crumbs and there was a paper and more crumbs in the cup holder. I'm not sure what is happening at this place. Business seems to be booming because it is always packed. They also have a bar, arcade and bowling and all three are always very busy. What a shame that this place is going down the hill. Management really has to step up their game and make sure people are doing what they should be doing. read more

My BF and I went out for a day of exploration and we decided to check this place out. We went on a Saturday. I am happy to say it was not packed. The place is spacious and clean. Hope it stays that way. They have a super nice concession stand and a Blue Bell ice cream counter. The bar is nice and the drinks are reasonably priced. The bowling lanes have large TVs over them so you don't have to miss the game while taking the kids bowling. The arcade had a great selection of games and that is where we spent most of our time. They also have an outside patio with Jenga and connect four where you can just hang out with your favorite beverage. Will be back! read more

A friend and I attended the 8:00 PM showing of Bad Boys on 6/12. Due to a power outage earlier in the day, the previous showing had been delayed and the credits were just rolling as we entered the theater a few minutes after 8 PM. The credits ended, and the screen went black. At 8:25 PM, a member of the housekeeping staff entered the theater and expressed confusion as to why people were in the theater when the movie was long since over. We explained to him that we were there for the 8:00 showing and that it had not started yet (although it was well after 8 at this point). The employee exited the theater at that time. Another patron left the theater and made contact with another employee to notify them that the movie had not yet started. Finally, at 8:39 PM, the pre-preview commercials began to play. Although already nearly 40 minutes behind schedule, for some reason the theater staff thought it appropriate to make us sit through several commercials for various car companies and other products. Eventually, the real previews began at 9:02 PM (an hour and two minutes after the scheduled start), and the movie itself eventually began playing at 9:16 PM, a full hour and sixteen minutes after we had arrived. We made it through most of the movie until the film unexpectedly froze at 10:46 PM, then the screen went black again. Another patron again left the theater to notify the staff, who turned the house lights on, and restarted the movie after about five minutes, fast forwarding all the way to the end credits (spoiling the ending for us), then rewinding backward, but rewinding too far, so we got to sit through about five minutes of film we had already seen. Additionally, the house lights were never turned off again, so we had to watch the last 15 minutes of the film with all the lights on. About that same time, several other patrons entered the theater, presumably there for the subsequent showing, which would have been about to begin had our showing not been delayed. It seems nobody bothered to tell these folks that the previous showing was still taking place and that they should wait to enter the theater, so they also had the ending spoiled for them. Finally, adding insult to injury, when we left the parking garage, both me and my friend had to pay for parking, because the theater's parking validation is only good for a 2.5 hour stay, and because of the delay (through no fault of our own), we were there for almost 3.5 hours. While I certainly do not hold the theater staff at fault for the power outage, I am absolutely blown away at the mishandling of the situation, nonexistent customer service, and complete lack of communication between the theater staff members. Not once during this entire ordeal did any member of the staff enter the theater to communicate with us what was going on, nor to offer any sort of apology. If it wasn't for a patron taking the initiative to notify an employee that the film had not started on time, we may well have sat there for hours. And even after being alerted of the problem, again, nobody from the staff took even a few seconds to pop into the theater, apologize, and explain what was happening and what was being done to resolve the issue. I'm deeply disappointed by the inaction of the employees and complete disregard for the theater patrons. read more

If you are coming to bowl or play in the arcade atmosphere is good. Cons- dirty walkway before entering business. Exterior sitting area is always dirty. They have been dirty for months (over 4 months now) The concessions area 9 out 10 visits is always dirty . Butter all over the counters, spilled soda and icee on the floor. Low to no condiments, cup lids, napkins or hot dogs. How do you run out of lids for the soda cups? If you sit at the bar , I hope you like the music, good luck. read more

The seats in the theater are top notch, much better than the competition nearby. The food and pop corn were both hot and we got free refills. The cleanliness of the theater is atrocious not what it used to be couple months back where it was clean, sanitized, and actually smelled like it was being well kept and maintained. Definitely can tell there's problems internally with management. I don't blame the kids but the General manager for not taking accountability for her workers. Movie was great so 2 stars! With all the buzz worthy movies out this year you can't miss out on visiting Showbiz. It offers the comfort needed to enjoy a good movie. And umm the snacks. Disappointed in a place we just dropped $600+ in. I tried for two weeks to book a birthday party but no answer back, called several times to inquire but didn't get any responses until the day before tte party, was told the coordinator is out of the country and can't book events at the time nor be able to reserve anything. During the event I reserved two lanes One for the kids and one for the adults, the guards on tte lanes don't work, one lane kept getting stuck and while the monitor is calling for service the timer Keeps running and the employees say they aren't getting the messages to fix anything Asked for 3 hours, was only charged and setup for 1.5 The employees promised to move us and to come clean the lane, they would extend the time but no one seem to remember to address any issues. I gave the employee a cake that needed to be put in fridge, they put it in the freezer and messed up an expensive fruit cake, food order came out wrong, kitchen manager came out to tell me since the kids touched the food. She can't refund the order. Didn't ask on her own she admitted to wrong doing and wanted me to know she can't fix the order. The wings were delicious, tasty and lightly coated but very crunchy. Couldn't get our drinks refilled because no one around to do it. When I came to the grand opening I felt this place had great potential and it still does, hopefully before it's too late. Finally we get arcade cards and tte machines are not registering the winning, on one card we won 1000, and several high numbers, all it had was 500 and the employee says he's sorry all he can do is refund tte 4 points use to win. At the end, we tried to validate our tickets for 4 cars, the machine was offline and we were told they can't do anything because it's managed by the city. This place can be so much fun and produce great experiences if managed well. Employees and managers need to be empowered to create those experiences, I can't list how many sorry I can't. read more

I was visiting relatives in Homestead, FL and we decided to see Star Wars TROS on Xmas day. After returning from church, we saw that this place was open and decided to check it out. This is a newly constructed , and very spacious and luxurious theatre. You don't feel like you're in Homestead inside. (Homestead is very rural with lots of nurseries and farms.) There is a bowling alley and lots of arcade games inside. The theatres themselves have leather seats that recline. They dont extend till your feet like AMC Veteran's 24 but I can forgive it. The picture and sound is great!. What's awesome is that they have matinees around $7.50 and regular tickets are around $10. Before this we used to to go Regal Southland mall where tickets were between $11-$12 even at matinee times. There is street parking and they have a parking garage on the side of the building. (I don't know if there is a parking fee since we got street parking.) Overall: A great place to catch a movie in Homestead! read more

Great spot to watch a movie and go bowling after or vise versa. Also great for kids (or adults) that like arcade games. The seats inside the theatre are comfortable, spacious and super reclinable. My family and friends decided to come here last minute (group of 15 people), we didn't purchase tickets online so when we got to the box office, there were exactly only 15 seats left, five of them being on the very bottom right next to the screen. I ended up having one of those five spots and even sitting in the worst possible spot in a movie theatre, I was still comfortable and not straining my neck because of the recline. I didn't get to bowl but next time I will definitely be doing that as well. read more

I am not a movie theater connoisseur, so maybe you should take my review with a grain of salt if you are :) I thought it was a decent movie theater. The theater itself and restrooms were clean, and the staff was helpful and polite. One of the cool things about this movie theater is the arcade, bar and bowling alley. That said, this is a cool place to take kids or a date. There is parking available in the garage, but you do have to pay for parking. I believe it is two or three dollars an hour. I was a little disappointed that the concession stand was not serving kid packs (I think they ran out). However, the checkout process was very efficient. read more

Absolutely horrible. I've gone years without knowing this place existed and should of kept it that way... we visited today 11/25/22 at around 7:30pm it was busy as to be expected on a Friday. I sat at the bar and was attended by the WORST server I've ever encountered i can't even call him a bartender because that would be giving him way too much credit. The second I sat down he yelled "LET ME SEE YOUR ID! AND WE DON'T DO BAR TABS!" From the register even though I hadn't been greeted or even ordered anything yet. I proceeded to ask what IPA he had on draft which he replied farulito and little thing I asked what kind of IPA it was and he snapped back saying "ITS AN IPA!" All while rolling his eyes and tapping his long pointy acrylic nails on the bar top.... After pouring the beer he yelled across the bar "ITS $15.58!" I'm pretty sure I should have received an itemized receipt. Not only was the service absolutely horrible he smelled like he just smoked an entire bag of marijuana either before work or while he was at work. If you do not like your job find something else to do... the last thing I want after a long week is to deal with someone's attitude and unprofessionalism. We will not be returning and we DO NOT recommend this place to anyone!!!! I would recommend this theater because the seats recline and it's quite cozy. Also, the surroundsound is amazing, but the cleanliness is not up to par.. today's my second time visiting with my family the first time I came. I noticed that it wasn't very clean once again came back a few months later it's so not very clean.. it's a theater in my area and I like the reclined seating but I'm tempted to go try elsewhere just because it's not very clean. The floors are slippery with grease. The windows are foggy from not being clean properly and just everything seemed dirty. The popcorn was OK. The candy was OK overall it was just OK but it could've been much better, If I didn't feel so grossed out by how it wasn't clean and some of the bathroom stalls had pee all over them and we came on a Tuesday. Honestly my favorite theatre (worth the drive if you're far!). It's a 3 in 1...Bowling, movies, & arcades PLUS food obviously. For those looking for something to do during Covid believe me this place is taking it's safety measures serious (Remember washing your hands is really the key) but they do it right! The last two times I've gone (early hours on weekdays) the theatres are practically empty so go for it. Either way you can rest assured seating is scattered. The bowling area has plexiglass. All around 10+ Covid measures. This place is great oh & did I mention how comfy the seats (which recline) are & there is an individual table for everyone in theatre. The sound is superb.
