If you want a place that just wants your money go here. Drove 2 hours to there store excited to buy a new side by side. Told them I wanted to drive first, they said no problem have to do paperwork first and if don't like it can rip it up. So after 3 hours still waiting to finish paperwork even with them knowing I needed to buy a trailer down the road and that the store was closing they didn't care. So when I finally got up and said deal over they pretty much begged me for the deal. They have no consideration for customer time or wants. They only care about money. I was excited to learn of Redline's ability to service my Can-Am Spyder. However, my experience with them regarding an oil and filter change, new air filter and rear tire replacement was far less than stellar. I contacted Redline to get some idea about the cost for these services. The oil change was quoted at $180 given that I would provide the kit. I was quoted $100 for the rear tire change and brought my own replacement. Upon arrival to drop off my bike for this service, I inquired about the cost to replace the spark plugs considering they would be there doing an oil change. I was told it would take about 30 minutes to replace them. I left my bike with them on a Saturday and was promised it would be ready the following Tuesday. I waited for a call from them. Wednesday I hadn't heard from them and called to inquire. I was told that parts had to be ordered and I explained that I brought the parts for the work. (In fairness I didn't provide the plugs expecting them to have something this simple in stock) After a reminder that I brought parts, there was acknowledgement of the same and was asked to give them another couple of days. Again, I waited to hear from them. Thursday I called to ask about my bike. I was told again that parts had to be ordered and again I reminded them that I brought the parts and they acknowledged. I was again asked to give them a couple of days. Saturday I called them again and asked for a manager to discuss. I met "Kevin", a new employee to Redline. He promised me to find out what was going on and would call me. I waited again for a call to no avail. I called him back that afternoon. Finally, I was told that spark plugs had to be ordered. I offered to pick up plugs and bring them to him. He said "no" because these needed special NTK plugs (I question this and the possibility of picking these up at someplace like Advance Auto Parts). He said he would call me with an update the following Tuesday. I had to call Kevin for an update late Tuesday afternoon and he stated that he tried to call me but that there must've been a problem with their phone system. He asked me for another couple of days saying he would call me Thursday. Late Thursday there hadn't been a call and I again had to call them and was told it would be ready Friday morning. I called Kevin to make certain it was ready and he confirmed and said my total cost was just under $1k. That was a huge surprise. Upon arrival I wanted to discuss. Kevin took 10% off but was still charged above and beyond what I was quoted for the tire and oil change and brought that to his attention. I was promised that we would talk the following week to work something out. I prepare to leave Redline with my bike, open the front trunk to find that my front-facing LED's had been destroyed. I pulled Kevin outside to see and offer an explanation. He stated that the tech told him that I was contacted about this as a need to replace the plugs and that I agreed. Obviously I did not and Kevin agreed to order and replace the LED's. I contacted him again the following week for an update. He would not take my call and sent a message through another tech. During one of my discussions with Kevin, he explained to me that internal communication was poor and that was a task he was going to address. I attempted to reach Jonathan Waters, the owner of Redline, in an attempt to resolve this issue and, at the very least, make him aware of my experience. I was willing to drive to South Carolina to meet and discuss with him directly, talk by phone or email. This attempt was a failure. At the end of the day, Redline did a hit-and-run for their service charges on my bike. They returned my bike in a condition less than what it was upon arrival and should've been returned it in a condition better than what it was when it was dropped off. Communication internally and, more importantly, with this customer was the absolute pits. I never had a call from the service department! I do not intend to ever visit a Redline Powersports again. I hope this review provides insight to other potential service customers and the level of service you might receive. Beware!!! read more

Was searching online to buy a boat came across a G3 boat for sale, went in got pricing loved the boat. Completely trusted there word. I asked if there is anything wrong with the boat would they fix it and make it right being we didn't have it out on the open water, yes they hooked up to water muffs but you never know how a boat runs till you have it full throttle on the river. They said if something was wrong they would make it right. So I trusted them and signed the papers, I deff appreciated that part. We took it home went out on the water broke down had to get towed then had to have our friends come get us to tow us the rest of the way. Finally got it loaded up after hours! On way home trailer hub assembly blew out which not like they would know that would happen so I don't care about that part at all, Call them they said bring it in, we did which I appreciate but they kept for 3 weeks get it back the same way, motor shaking really bad and would go super slow then only go 5 mph then gets power then back down. They take it back after a second time of it running like crap! we take it out same thing motor is shaking and missing. He blames us for putting an additive in the gas which we been boat owners for over 12 years and always have used. If I was a business bringing in a boat off trade...I would of made sure it went out at 100%. Or made it 100% right like they said they would. Like we were to know bad gas was in it? We didn't take it in on trade y'all did. Friends of ours don't run there boat for a whole year and there's starts fine. So did our 2006 sunset bay pontoon. Call them to tell them it's still not running right they said they won't take it back to fix it it's no longer there problem to take it to a marina to figure it out. Then to mention well they said they saw us on the river and seemed to be running fine? Because they were on the boat knowing how it ran, umm negative. Yeah motor shaking the hole boat? Is normal? Motor Cutting out going 20 mph then 15 then 14 then back up in speed? you can hear it completely missing. Very disappointed in Red Line like I said if I owned a company and brought anything in on trade I would make sure it went out at 100% and trust worthy. Not say well we didn't know about the gas because it was a trade in lol well guess ya should of ran it threw the shop and drained the gas and tried it out on the river not a pond... everyone I tell about my experience isn't surprised about it it's a shame. read more

Stood there for 20 min with wife and son and not one employee even looked our way or asked if we needed help, which is the obvious. Six years ago I bought a Jet Ski from Redline. They were great, they helped me decide, got me written up and even delivered it for me as it was a surprise gift for the wife's birthday. A friend of mine asked to buy it so we decided to get a new one. Called on the phone and got a quote. Went to the store and somehow they were confused with my request and don't have the ski we wanted. We looked around and found a different ski that we thought would work. While looking it over we noticed a bunch of scratches. We show the salesman and he says, "We have to return this to Yamaha, go pick a different ski" you only had 5 on the showroom floor and said Yamaha is not delivering. Complete waste of time. We get our deposit back, leave and then the calls start "It's OK it is only in the outer paint, we can have it fixed" then it was "it's fixed come on in, you can't tell" Absolutely bull. WE found the Limited Ski we wanted (they said no one has the Limited in stock) got a much better deal, saved over $600 and picked it up without a bunch of non-sense. According tot he salesperson it is new ownership (Claims the guy used to own a Toyota Dealer, surprising as Toyota has standards and it is doubtful he could ever meet them if that is how he runs his dealership) Stay away, too many other places to get motorsports without lies and BS read more

I brought a new seadoo spark used for 1 hour then I had a problem. Turn out it was a wear ring issue paid 240 to get it fixed. I was told that oil needed to be changed after five hours and set up an appointment to my surprise they wanted 280 for an oil change. My corvette oil change cost 80. Needless to say I told them no I will do it myself. They do not have good customer service and services cost are way to high. I would really think about buying from them because they are going to get you with service cost every way they can and prices are not posted anywhere learn from my mistake go somewhere else. read more

New to the area. Brought my bike in for two tires, oil change and full detail. Had my bike for SIX weeks!! Picked it up to find mismatched tires. One radial and one bias ply. $180.00 for a detail and they barely washed it. Called to sell me a brake flush, did not perform the service and on the way home discovered I have NO back brakes. Did not drop it off that way! Have been patient but now six months later and no resolution or return calls. Would not recommend this place to anyone. One of the second worst experiences I've had with this dealership I went in last week to get a tire replaced on my cruiser motorcycle simple enough job you would think but after 2 1/2 hours of no update they finally came out and said it was completed and not only did they overcharge me from what they quoted me it was also missing my custom valve stem cover and there was about an inch and a half dent in my rim that wasn't there before after taking it for a test ride it felt worse than the bald tire that was on it before so when I took it back I had the service writer come out and I explained to him what the problem was and about the dent and all he did was apologize for the dent did not offer to fix it or anything and said he would have the guy recheck the balance on the tire after another 30 minutes of doing that and test driving they decided to order a new tire. After leaving it all day I had to call the next day to see if it was ready and they didn't even put a new tire on they used the excuse that the guy was new and could not read the machine properly even though two different people had balanced it the previous time and it's still not 100% and then they gave me a $10 gift card for my troubles that did not even cover what they overcharged me. I Had a bad experience once before where they did not fill my oil up all the way up I unfortunately had to give them a second chance which they epically failed at, I will never return to this place and I would strongly advise going somewhere else like Armadillo Cycles who actually care about their customers. read more

Absolutely the Worst company I have ever dealt with and I am 59 years old. Brought in my used jet ski because the person I bought it from had extensive $1400.00 worth of work done on it 2 months 10 hours prior by Redline of Myrtle Beach, SC. I called to get a diagnostic price and I was quoted $125.00. Brought it in and I was quoted it was $147.00. My Jet ski was totally taken a part without so much as a phone call or my consent. After weeks of going back and forth on fixing it, which could have been avoided if it was done/found properly by their mechanic on the first repair job of $1400.00 . I asked for it back in pieces, not for them to put it back together, I had a very bad taste in my mouth at that point becuase of all of their deception at that point. I figured I would pay the diagnostic fee of 147.00 and let it sit and get it fixed in the spring. OH NO!!! the owner Jon wanted $561.00 and would not release it back to me till I paid that amount, because the mechanic took it apart "Are you kidding me" isnt that part of a diagnostic fee!!! at that point they would not release my Jetski and had me by the balls I dont even have being a woman and forced me into fixing it through them, which put a financial strain on me. The owner tried to play it off as giving ma a discount form 1900.00 to 1600.00 which was no discount found other repair places would have charged me under 1000.00 for a new drive shaft, o rings, etc. Through the whole process there was no phone calls by the service man Joe at all on any diagnostic or if they could investigate further by taking it fully apart which would not be part of the $147.00 fee but it will cost you more. Cutomer service out the door worst hands down. Absolutely not one call through the whole process not even to state it was ready. They also knocked off a light cover on my trailer no one has gotten back on that and will not get back to me or you if you go there!!!! What kind of business shows this type of lack of professionalism or customer relationship definitely not a customer friendly environment !!.So I hope you have read how deceiving this place is and what a rip off they really are. This is a company that took 4 representatives and 4 hours to buy a new jet ski for a family member. Think real hard there are too many other places to buy and get quality service. read more

Wish I could give them 0. Called ahead and took my bike in for what I was told would take about an hour. An hour later the kid at the service desk said they were working on my bike. It was there to have the ECM updated. Two hours later I checked again and was told basically the same thing. Finally talked to the lack of service manager and he said that they were having problems with their computer and could not download the update. A little later the counter kid told they had everything worked out and it shouldn't take much longer. After 3&1/2 hours I asked to see the service manager again. He came out and said that they still could not get the software loaded. I asked if the bike was rideable and told him to put it together so I could go home, a 1hour ride. Spent 5&1/2 of my day with nothing to show. They had a sign on the door stating that the labor rate wad $140/hr. Sure am glad this was under warranty. read more

Different owners, same story. Needed tires on my motorcycle, all they had in stock were Shinkos and quoted me a ridiciulous price on Michelins they would have to order. On top of that their installation price is very high. Went up the road to competitor that did also have to order the Michelins but was $50 less on the tire and $25 less on installation, had tire on bike 2 days after ordering. Parts department is awful, constant turnover in service department. So much for going after the locals business. read more

I called ahead and let them know I was coming in for a rear tire install. I dropped the bike off at 10:30 and proceeded to IHOP for breakfast. When I arrived back at RedLine at 11:30. To bad that there are not minus stars for Red Line would get that from me. Called parts and asked if I could just get speaker housings for the reaar Voyager. Was told that they would call me back. 24 Hrs later no call. I called them again and they advised that they have to call Kawasaki and get info. Again no call back. Called manager and he said that he would check. manager Michael called back and state the speaker housing could not be bought. Went to red Line on Monday 7/12/17 and placed order and paid over $350 for the speakers. Was told that they have no idea why speakers are not there. Spoke to acting man would be in on Thursday 7/22/17. I called on Thursday and no speakers. Called again on Friday no speakers. I was told 3-5 business days and they would be here on Monday. Monday I called and no speakers. Spoke to Sales Manager Tim as Gen Manager quit the store, Explained the entire story to Tim and he said that he wold call me back on Tuesday and let me know the reasons why speakers are not there. On Tuesday 7/20/17 I again called and was informed that the speakers have arrived. Obtained the speakers and contacted Tim. Tim was in my opinion totally argumentative and totally NOT customer orientated. Tim played the 20 yr card of working for Red Line and that he was a native Carolinian, as if that makes any difference in customer sanctification. I asked for the name of the owner and contact information. I was told it was Larry A. Brooks Jr and that there was no contact information. I asked when brooks would be in the store and was told by Tim that he never knows. Asked for a contact phone number and was that there is no contact phone number. this all appears and feels so wrong. Only recourse I told Tim is that I would use social media to pass along bad customer service and NEVER would I do business again with Red Line. Tim acted as though he didn't care. In my opinion this is a totally BAD CUSTOMER STORE and one would be better off traveling extra miler to be taken care of properly. For you will not be taken care of here at Red Line. And never once did Tim say that he was sorry for the shipping problems and failure for employees to call me back nor did he offer to make any compensation for my time and effort. I had my can am in for service and a recall last fall. I had been given a quote for the maint at the time of drop off for service, when I came to pick it up the price was almost double. When asked for clarification of the price difference and was told that the quote was only for the labor. Apparently their service personnel don't know the price of filters and oil. When the bike was pulled up for pick up, I found parts hanging off, the seat was left out of adjustment, wouldn't securely latch, and it had paint damage. The service manager offered to replace the panel originally, but attempting to be nice and I was willing to accept a tube of touch up. I was told it takes a while to get so I waited several months and nothing. Being winter I wasn't riding, but the 1st time I used it I started having shifting issues, they were nice enough to trailer it in for free. After diagnosing,they gave an est of $130.00 to repair fuse box. I approved. When I picked it up I got 15 miles away from dealer and started having issues with the radio cutting off, the air suspension pump not working and lights not working. It took several weeks to get through to service mgr after leaving several messages and all he could say was they were backed up for 2 weeks, just set up an apt and we will look at it. There was also fresh damage and panels not put back together properly, again. Being very frustrated, I took it to another dealer. They found that the original fuse box repair was not done correctly, wiring connections to the battery were left loose and that numerous bolts left loose and some missing from the frt end. They also found that there was a warranty bulletin/ recall out for the repair of the fuse box. The repair that I paid for was actually under warranty. I have spoken with redlines parts department and service manager again about the touch up paint and don't have it. I now have been waiting over 8 months. read more
