Some of these reviews are baffling. I've stayed here twice. On both occasions, the workers were super-nice and the rooms were clean. Once I lucked out with a two-room suite, once I got a small room, so if you want the Ritz-Carlton Presidential Suite this may not be your spot. As always, I can't comment on breakfast and don't even know if they have breakfast but you're visiting California so enjoy some fine local cuisine (stay tuned for my review of El Burrito Jr.'s huevos rancheros). The beach is a short-to-medium walk; Riviera Village and the pier are fairly close.

Working in Redondo beach area and has to stay the night. Found this place. Reasonable price and close to the job site. Check in was quick and the gentlemen behind the counter was using COVID restriction. There is Thai restaurant on the premises. I'll make sure to Yelp them after I eat there. The room is cozy. There's a microwave, small fridge, and coffee machine. Water pressure is mediocre but it's okay! I'm only a few blocks from the beach and there is plenty of restaurants nearby. I will definitely stay here if working in the Redondo beach area again. Thank you Redondo inn & Suites. 2 thumbs up

My stay was awesome!! Clean Rooms, Excellent customer service and their rooms are magnificent. The beach is very close by, just a walk away. Just talk to Mitch and he'll get you a great room!! I have been her 3 times, and the service is super consistent, When I visit Redondo again or any near by city, this is where I will stay!!!

Stayed here for two days! Nov 2-4, 2015. Loved it. Got the two room suite. Out door was under the stairs, was able to park basically right outside our door. It was very clean. Security cameras in the parking lot, very well lit. It is a little tight getting around but it's manageable. Be careful when entering quite a lip on the entrance.(scraped the bottom of our car). The beds were comfy, everything worked. It did come with a nice mini fridge w a freezer, microwave, nice flat screen tv, coffee maker and coffee with ample cups. No hairdryer land no exhaust fan in bathroom. Got really foggy when showering. Water pressure was ok, could have been a little more powerful. The gentleman at the front desk at check in was wonderful, we were a little later than expected when we checked it! But it was seamless and no issues! Very pleasant man and helpful directing us where we were wanting to eat for dinner! The guy at check out, was just as awesome as the first guy, had the same wonderful experience! I really don't have any complaints. I slept very peacefully, the rates were very reasonable. If you're fine with a little walk you're literally about 3 blocks from the beach. Plenty of places within walking distance to eat, shop, coffee and donuts, antique shops. Great little area. Nice pier at Redondo Beach. Most all shops were open, regular fare for the food options(corn dogs, seafood, burgers etc). There was a filming of Supergirl going on the day we were there at the pier! That was a lot of fun! The sites were great for some awesome pics of the wildlife and water! Two thumbs!

3.5-4 stars. Blocks away from the beach. Convenient location. The customer service was good. The maids were very friendly and helpful whenever I needed extra towels. Thank goodness for a fridge and microwave. The price was right, booked through Hotwire.com. Hotels.com had this place for $40 more a night. Can't really complain, I don't hang out all day in my hotel room. Parking was fine. I was afraid I was going to have to park on the street when I seen the lot full, but the woman at the front desk assured me there would be parking at night. They share their parking with the Thai restaurant below them, so during dinner time the lot gets packed. Had a good night sleep for the three nights I was there. Cons: bathroom door kept getting stuck or you can say I kept getting stuck in the bathroom. The AC unit made loud noises that sounded like the buzzer when you get the answer wrong on family feud (literally) The sheets gave my mom a rash. I bring my own blankets, I was fine. Oh & ice costs .25 cents so if that bothers you just make sure you bring a cooler to get your money's worth.

The frist room they checked me into was218 and the fridge was leakingand the floor was wet tried called the office but the phone didnt work. They switched me to the room next door 219. Well it was worse. Cockroachs, broken Furniture, holes, and the fridge in that room was leaking also.. for the price and the extra $100 deposit.... Not worth it..

We arrived around 12:00 p.m. to check in and were told our rooms wouldn't be ready until 4:00 p.m. We were assured someone would call us when they were ready, but no one ever did. Not a huge deal. We made the best of it and enjoyed our afternoon. When we finally returned to check in, the front desk couldn't even find my reservation in the system, which only added to the frustration. Before booking, I specifically called the hotel because our priorities were simple: two double beds, a balcony, a water view, and rooms close together for our family. I wanted to confirm this before spending the money. Unfortunately, none of those expectations were met. What was most disappointing was the "Marina View." I'm currently looking out at a parking lot with a small glimpse of the marina in the distance. Calling this a marina view feels very misleading. If you're paying extra expecting to wake up to a beautiful waterfront view, you may be very disappointed. To make matters worse, the manager approached me and said, "I already spoke to you." I had never met her before. It left me wondering if he had confused me with another guest. It's really unfortunate because the hotel itself is beautiful and the interior design is lovely. But great design can't make up for poor communication and disappointing customer service. My advice is to call the hotel directly before booking, ask very specific questions, and write down the name of the person you speak with so there's accountability if the room you receive doesn't match what you were promised. Just sucks to spend all this money and be looking at cars. Also the kayaks are not free. Only the bikes are. That was also false news.

The area has several boating clubs, a few seafood restaurants, hotels and event venues, and some small bars. It is definitely a quiet area that closes up early in the evenings. The hotel itself is really very lovely, though I wouldn't call it fancy. I will start by mentioning a few things that I didn't like. First, it is really too expensive. Likely it was more expensive than usual, as we booked late and they only had suites left. Also, I didn't like that the hotel restaurant and room service stop serving food at 10. Even after the wedding, when several people tried to go to the bar, around 10:30 on a Saturday, they stopped serving drinks. Further, we arrived to check into the hotel around 10PM on Friday night and were informed that all of the restaurants in the area were closing, so we had to drive to the next town over for dinner. I guess the area this hotel is located in is a bit too quiet for my taste. I also didn't like the $49 per night valet parking, with zero self-parking. Now, on a positive note, I enjoyed the welcome drinks, which were two mini strawberry daqueries... they were actually not too sweet and quite stiff. The staff was super friendly. They were always available and tried to be helpful. Whenever we went to the lobby they would give us bottled water. In the restaurant bar, they gave us free coffee and Diet Coke to take to our room. Our room wasn't overly impressive for a suite, but it was still very pretty. I loved having a view right on the harbor walkway. It was nice to walk out of the hotel and be right on the harbor. The balcony was a lovely place to sit with coffee. They also have an outdoor bathtub right on the patio. I love when beach hotels have outdoor tubs and showers. The room was comfortable with plenty of outlets and digital color-changing lighting. It was very clean and modern. All in all, I think the hotel was more expensive than we would choose had it not been for a wedding. However, I really did enjoy my stay. It was a friendly hotel with nice views and a bit of a resort vibe.

I drove my car and had asked about parking right before we arrived. I had called and talked to the front desk manager and asked about a vase for flowers which he didn't have. I asked him if he had this a regular glass there and he said yes. The day before I arrived and because this was booked by my girlfriend's son, I didn't know the sleeping arrangements saying we needed it two beds. I called and got voicemail the day before and someone called me back about a couple hours later. I asked if there were two beds in the room and he said no there's a bed and then there is a fold out sofa. I said oh great I will take the fold out sofa and let my girlfriend take the bed. When I arrived at the hotel with my car, I didn't know where I was parking and it wasn't. The hotel is on the beach, but it's also in a very crowded area. I went in and spoke with the front desk guy. He said his name was Chris. He hurriedly explained how I could get to the parking spot and that was CF because of the instructions he gave me. After finding the parking garage, we did receive help from Chris to unload our luggage. My girlfriend is much older and I didn't allow her to carry anything so it was just me and him. We proceeded into the hotel and after we were in there... Yes, the room seemed nice and a little standard for a boutique. I immediately heard people on the floor right above us walking back-and-forth and there was no way that that was going to work out because she had traveled all the way from Denver for this and we had traveled from North Hollywood down to Hermosa Beach and.just a lot of travel, which made us weary When I asked about getting another room, which I knew it was full because it's pretty small Hotel he said he had put us on the first floor because he thought that we would not be able to climb the stairs to get to the second floor. I told him we're both able, and even though my girlfriend is older she is limber enough to climb stairs. I think he saw the concern on my face that we might leave because we hadn't unpacked anything so he did ask the people who had moved in to the top floor to switch with us. It was nice of them and they said yes we will switch. As we were getting ready for eating our food which we ordered in, I noticed there was only one wine glass and one fork. One spoon. So we managed through it for eating. As we got ready for bed, I unfolded the sofa bed and there was a huge urine stain on the mattress and now I had to find sheets. I could not find them anywhere and called the number to get help. Chris then texted me and said "I've I received many calls from you today. If it is not urgent, you could just text me and ask me. There's no need for you to call me repeatedly" Now he was inferring that I could not call him so to speak. he texted me to let me know where the sheets were. I had called him the day before and talked with him that I would be using that fold out bet. I think it was his job to point out where the sheets were when we moved into the room. I feel that because we were senior citizens we were disregarded! I asked him on text "is this how you treat senior citizens "? And I told him that I am a customer here that has paid for the room already. The next morning, the Keurig coffee maker did not work and there were only two coffee pods for both of us. Not enough I ended up at the market trying to get coffee for both of us. I didn't bother calling him about the coffee maker. I was already just too disgusted with his attitude towards. when we checked out, he was nowhere to be found.
