We arrived after the campground office had closed, so we were assigned a temporary site. After checking-in the next morning, we were hurriedly escorted to our assigned site. Our escort's only attempt to be helpful was to tell us that we should park our trailer in front of our tow vehicle??? Another guest commented to me that the staff wasn't very pet friendly??? In all fairness, it is a clean, quiet , and well maintained facility and we saw a moose cow with calf across the road, that was cool! read more

Another great day at Redrock RV Park but please be advised the only negative thing is the county put off fixing the 1/2 mile gravel portion of Red Rock road so yes it is extremely dusty and a lot of loose gravel. So be safe, be smart, be cautious and disconnect your tow car prior to the gravel or you will get rock chips on your tow vehicle. read more

We stayed for 6 nights with Camp Airstream in the north east corner of the property. Airstream Corp does a wonderful job added to by the friendly staff at the front entrance. 30% off all items in the gift store, as it was the end of the season, so we bought the Yellowstone Pendleton Blanket we have always wanted at a great discount. Score! Wonderful, clean shower/toilets rooms and a nice laundry room. This was a 20 hour drive for us from home Sao not likely we will be back real soon, but if we do, we'll stay here. read more

This place is amazing! Full hook ups which is very convenient. Beautiful views! Great staff! The owner is a great guy and understands the importance of customer service! This is about 30 minutes from West Yellowstone which is super nice as you don't have to deal with the insane crowds! 2 minutes from Henerys Lake for some great trout fishing! They have a local singer come in once in a while and everyone hangs out on the patio and mingle with the staff and guests. We met some amazing people here! Will for sure be back!!! read more

The most kind staff and outstanding view. We had a truck tent and were very pleased to be located towards the back of the park and has a beautiful spot over looking the mountain range. Showers were clean and we felt very safe walking at night. Super dark when heading to the dumpster or restroom at night so bring a strong flashlight. Would stay here again! Make sure you are there before their closing time, as they do not have late check ins! read more

Here is some info on the park. We booked this site last minute with very little knowledge of the area. Basically, it was the only available site at the time. No regrets. You're looking at a 30 minute drive to Yellowstone and limited resources in the area. But this is expected for the area. It's a solid 10 minute drive from the highway, but its a good thing, you get peace and quiet. The site itself is great. Nice views and all the necessities you need. Water, garbage, electricity, sewage, wifi, play structure, etc. Let's move on to what make this site really great, the people. We ran into some complications with our trip and we found that the folks that work there are some of the greatest people around. Without getting too much into detail, let's just say that they are very nice, very helpful, and selfless. I'd like to give a few personal shout outs to some wonderful folks. If I miss anyone, I'm apologize. Charlotte and Matt: Snow cones, awesome. When we were stranded with a broken down RV, they had no problem bring us food from the grocery store. They even brought us dinner that night. Here is where I have to apologize for being terrible with names, L____ who is married to Art. Super awesome lady, very nice and helpful. And last, but definitely not least, John. I owe this ball buster of a guy a big favor. If you don't get this guys humor, go home. With a heart of gold, he gave me a ride into town to pick up a rental car and refused anything in return. John, I owe you a big bottle of cheap whiskey and I have no idea how to deliver it to you. I'll be the first to admit that we were probably not the easiest renters of the season. Not that we are difficult by nature, but we had a break down, and we needed to extend our stay, and we needed help getting a car, and we needed this and that. Throughout all the BS we had to deal with outside of our control, everyone that works there showed the good side of human nature. We sincerely thank you all. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE! Unless you can be out of your spot 5 or 10minutes early. They will charge you per minute if you're late. We were 10 minutes late pulling out, and then had to wait fifteen minutes for the garbage truck before we could get out of the lot. Sounds like we broke even. NO. We had a charge on our card when we got home. 300$ and no patience. Stay somewhere else. read more

Nice campground about 30 min from West Yellowstone. Clean large spots, great tasting water, pickle ball court. We stayed on a back in gravel site that was perfect for our fifth wheel Be aware of the 6 pm check in policy. No late arrivals after 6 pm. We didn't see that when we reserved and had a 12 hr drive to get there. Ended up staying in another campground for our first night because we were not prepared to dry camp somewhere before check in the next morning. I wish this policy was in bold print on the website. I respect their decision for no late arrivals, just wish it was more prominent when making a reservation. read more

This park had everything we wanted when we were looking for someplace close to Yellowstone. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The only reason I couldn't give it a 5 star review would be the Internet access. It's decent speed but limited to 500 Mbs per day. And, they don't have cable way out here. One of my favorite places to camp. We come here almost every year because it's sooo quiet, peaceful and the views are beautiful. There is a huge grassy field of wild flowers that has a mowed trail for dog walking. My dogs absolutely love it, they can hardly wait for us to get set up... they know they'll be scampering through the grasses with wild freedom. It is a sight to see. A couple dirt roads allow extensive walking in the wide open meadow. My man lives to kayak fish in Henry's Lake. The birds- lots of darling bird houses along the edges and each have birds nesting in them. Such a delight to watch. This truly a most wonderful experience of expansive lush green hills out in the middle of nowhere and yet you have all the comforts of home in you RV. read more

a delightful rv park, we were so happy that we chose! It is 15 minutes off of the highway, so super quiet, with phenomenal views and wildlife to watch. We took a few drives in our jeep off to the wildlife park, about a half an hour further away from the highway, and were not disappointed. Great views, walks, and some fishing places too. There is a nice local drive to the lake (entrance next to the campground entrance), with day camping and fishing too. Only about a 30 minute drive to Yellowstone, which we only did one day during out 6 day trip, preferring the local scenery. Great camp staff, very friendly, and we will be back! Good drive through sites with grass separating us from neighbors. read more

There are two buildings with bathrooms, showers, and laundry facilities, all good-sized and nice. We recently camped here in a 5th wheel rig. We found the camp hosts to be fantastic! They were very helpful and super nice people. The campground is small, but the setting is great! The campground is very clean, quiet and remote (5 miles off the main highway on a small paved road). One note to watch for as you are coming in, the area is a "free range" therefore, cows may be in the road or jump out in front of you. We really liked this place and would definitely return. This area is easy 20 mile ride to Yellowstone and is a great launch place for those with ATV's. It is bear country so be prepared! Jeff read more

We have been RV camping for almost two weeks and this was our favorite place by far! I knew it would be good as we got two follow up calls before we arrived. We were greeted by the office warmly and escorted by golf cart to our lovely end site. The views of the nearby mountains lake ranches breathtaking ! Sites spacious and clean . Newer machines and quarters available in the office.wifi was spotty and I tended to overuse what was recommended. However I have to claim stupidity. Don't totally understand how my phone used so much. No cable. Close to Henry's lake so we could drive to the cliffs whenever we wanted to fish. Fire pits at each site. Stayed 7 days. We loved our stay at Red Rock Rv! We traveled with family and we each had our own campers, and the staff made sure to put us all together. We were in the newer part of the park and the sites are level, spacious and clean. Not a lot of trees yet, but they will grow with time. Loved the patio around the fire pit. Made sitting around the fire very comfortable. The grassy area in our site was great as well and the views were beautiful. The staff was very friendly and we utilized Jodi's pet sitting service while we visited Yellowstone for the day. She is so sweet and truly loves everyone's pets as her own. Although our 2 labs wouldn't let her walk them, she still checked on them throughout the day and made sure they had water and were okay. There's a nice laundry room on site which came in handy. I'm not familiar with the going rate of laundromats, but for my 4 loads of wash/drying I think I paid approximately $30. ($3.00 for each wash and about $2.75+ to dry. I had to keep dropping in quarters to get the clothes dry). There is a change machine in the room to exchange bills for quarters. The park is in a great, centralized location with so many things to do and see nearby. I highly recommend staying here and we can't wait to come back! read more

Really liked this park! Very quiet. Easy drive to West Yellowstone. Friendly staff. Beautiful setting. They are very particular on where you park based on pull in or back in. We had truck campers and weren't allowed to camp next to each other and then they put a tent group between us. But I still give it high marks. Shaved ice is a must when it's open!! read more

This place is AMAZING. Huge, new playground, large spots with fire pits, picnic tables and a concrete pad for the picnic area, very clean, and the management is extremely nice. This campground can not be trusted to meet their commitments. July 2014 we booked five weeks in advance explaining that we were traveling with friends who were new to pulling a fifth wheel and would only accept a pull through as we had committed to them. Upon arriving this was not available and we were forced to take what they had available - which required parking that we were not comfortable with. They CLAIMED it was pull through but you could not physically do it since they had other campers blocking the way and the sites were too narrow to turn our 28 ft rigs into. Once parked our friends had the campers next to them partying that night right outside their door instead of setting us up to be together. Bottom line....they are going to pack in folks based on $$$$$ not what you book. At the peak of season you have no choice to go elsewhere and they take advantage of this. Book with someone you can trust. read more

Excellent view. The public bathrooms are clean and you would need a passcode to enter. Two private showers in the women's bathroom. Hot and cold water, but takes time to warm up. Wonderful RV park, tucked away in Idaho. We stayed here to visit Yellowstone and found the national park to be too crowded for our taste. But there are some very wonderful other things to see and do in the area...Mack's Inn for a river float and ice cream, Caribou Targhee National Forest with spectacular waterfalls and views of the Tetons, Henry's Lake about a mile away and plain old relaxation. Other campers and staff are very friendly, even when enforcing the rules (hubby was gently reminded to slow down when driving in the park). read more

Great location that is walking distance (about a half mile) from Lake Henry. The campground does feel a little cramped but it looked like they were planning on expanding. Full hookups (not including cable) were available. Pets are allowed on a leash only in the park but it's not enforced very well seeing as there were many people who had their dogs off leash. There is free WiFi but there is a cap at 200MB per day. Overall, this park is great, minus the Internet cap and it being a little cramped. We'll stay again if we're in the area. read more

Crowded and way overpriced - $38 per night. We camped here with our tent trailer in July 2012. We were on our way to Yellowstone and I wanted to find a place with showers near Henry's Lake. Our spot was so close to the next camper, about 10 steps away. There were 3 of us, we paid for the extra person. On our second night we pitched a tent because my father -in-law was having a hard time sleeping in the tent trailer. The next morning the manager came down and told us that we would have to pay an additional $32 for having our tent on the same site. My father-in-law paid the price. But the staff didn't refund us for the extra person. We would never stay here again. It's totally not worth the price. There are nicer shower-less sites in the area and a laundromat where you can take showers. Lesson learned ... Hopefully we've saved you the hassle we experienced. read more

This is a nice campsite and we found the camp owners very helpful with some noisy dogs that were next to us. The hookups worked well and provide us a nice campsite for our ATV exploring. This park though I will say is not wonderfully kid friendly as we found that most folks staying there did not have young children and we're looking for a quiet atmosphere. I would highly recommend this park for anyone who wouldn't have this issue but if you are looking for a very kid friendly park you might want to look elsewhere. The owners and staff were helpful and provided us resources to enjoy the local area. read more
