The office and store are opened each night till 9 pm! All the mechanicals for hooking up your rv's utilities are all ergonomically configured. Nice space, nice picnic tables. Some premium pull thrus have cabannas and a little larger green footprints. On the minus side - we were a little surprised theres no swimming pool. But my one and only one real disappointment was finding the men's showers were not completely private. I presume same for the women's showers. For the high-end resort price charged, that I found to be less than expected. If the price charged was $70-$80/nite, then maybe that's ok. But we paid a premium rate of $147/nite with showers that were only partially private. I think thats a big miss. But that one miss opportunity aside, the mgt is great. The place is beautiful. The rv sites are very nice. And the convenience of its location is second to none. Less than 1 mi to Yellowstone NP's west entrance! That huge when considering how far you must travel once you are inside the park. And convenient to all the shopping and restaurants in West Yellowstone!! That just can't be beat!! We had a most lovely time!! Would we come back and stay at this rv park? Probably we would. For all the reasons stated above.

We had planned this trip to Yellowstone as a special family vacation and were so excited to make these memories together. Shortly after arriving, our 13-month-old son, who has complex medical needs, began having significant difficulty with the elevation. His oxygen levels became so low that we ultimately had to call 911, and he was transported by ambulance to a hospital approximately 1.5 hours away. Obviously, at that point, continuing our vacation was no longer an option. We contacted Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park, explained exactly what was happening, and asked if they would consider refunding or even crediting the unused nights of our stay because we were being forced to leave due to a genuine medical emergency. Their response expressed sympathy for our son, but they still refused to make any exception whatsoever to their cancellation policy. No refund. No credit for the unused nights. I completely understand businesses having cancellation policies. However, there is a tremendous difference between someone simply changing their plans and a family having to leave because their baby is being transported by ambulance to a hospital. What makes this especially disappointing is that their email said they would "love the opportunity to welcome your family back" and "do something special" for us if we return. After refusing to even credit the nights we could not use because our child required emergency medical care, I cannot imagine feeling comfortable booking another stay. The RV park itself may be beautiful and conveniently located, but families should be aware of how strictly this cancellation policy is enforced, even in a documented medical emergency involving a child and an ambulance transport. We certainly did not choose to end our vacation this way. We would have much rather spent those nights making memories at Yellowstone than sitting in an emergency room worried about our son. I sincerely hope management reconsiders how genuine medical emergencies are handled in the future. Compassion in an email is appreciated, but compassion in a policy when a family is facing an actual emergency would mean much more.

The laundry room and bathrooms were immaculate. The RV park is behind the IMAX theater. We were given discount tickets for the IMAX movie on Yellowstone and coupons for free ice cream. We also received a $20 coupon off of any purchases made in the gift shop at the IMAX theater. These sites were well-maintained. They were gravel however they were very close together. Even though it was in downtown area it was very quite peaceful. We did have to disconnect our water every night due to freeze warnings, however, the RV park has no control over the weather. Refilled our tank with freshwater when they turned it on in the morning this allow us to have water to shower, etc.. My only complaint was that they offered Wi-Fi, but it did not work for us. We were in the back far away from the office, so maybe it did not reach us.

Very quiet at night and well maintained. Not many trees for shade. I highly recommend this place for staying in your RV.

We booked an rv site that holds a 24ft long vehicle. Our site 444 was at the very end next to a field but within a few minutes walking distance to the trash and bathrooms/showers. Showering and bathrooms is luxury when you're camping, so no complaints. I'm grateful. There are 4 shower stalls and 6 bathroom stalls in the women's restroom. I highly recommend wearing shower footwear because the floors are dirty. One stall had a broken lock, so I think people were only using 3 stalls. Plenty of hooks, counter space, and lights. Our site was mostly level with hookups. So nice to have when it's a hot summer day. I saw they have a coffee stand towards the front, a store, and a nice updated kids playground. This campground is 17 min from the next major town with lots of gas and food options on the way to Yellowstone.

Water and electrical hookups were reliable and easy to connect. It was definitely hotter than we expected, so I'd recommend shopping for groceries and drinks before you arrive. Cases of water were over $15 for a 12-pack, so bringing supplies with you will save some money. They have a breakfast shack and coffee shack open from 6:30-9:30 AM, and a dinner shack open from 6:30-9:30 PM, which was convenient. The coffee shack has ice cream too! The highlight for our kids was what they called the "hot pool." There's no hot tub, but the pool is heated and was warm enough that they wanted to swim every day. We also appreciated that the pool stayed open until 10:00 PM, which made for a fun way to end the evenings. The kids also had a blast on the huge jump pad and playground. There was a nice gaga ball pit with the rules clearly posted, and it was always full of kids playing together. There's a dog park on site that's a nice amenity. It would be perfect for most dogs, although it felt a little large for our family's dachshund. One feature we really appreciated was the bathhouse. There were plenty of showers and bathrooms, plus a family shower that made evenings much easier. With seven of us, it was far more convenient than trying to have everyone shower in our small RV. Only complaint would be a little extra cleaning in the showers through the day. The KOA is conveniently located about 15 minutes from the park and only 10 minutes from town, where we found gift shops, ice cream, pizza, grocery stores, and plenty of other essentials. Overall, it's a clean, family-friendly campground with dependable RV hookups, great amenities, and plenty to keep both kids and adults happy. We'd happily stay again.

Guess you can't get your money back since they have an eight day cancellation policy . We were lucky to get service to check email. They open the door if your cabin at 3pm and leave your key on a small metal table. The location is very sketchy looking. Safe thinking NOT . When we drove up at a bit after 3 in one of the cabins (#9) there was a guy laying on the floor with a sheet covering him and his door was wide open that was my first reason not to stay there. They use words like cozy, vintage & authentic. Cozy translates to postage size, old not vintage. Inside we heard people talking on the other side of the wall. I thought they had been at the window. Their idea of a coffee station was an unwrapped styrofoam cup next to the coffee maker.Tiny towels. Just not where you would want to spend a night. The worst part you may ask how it could get worse it's located RIGHT NEXT TO HIGHWAY 20. A sidewalk width is all that separates you from the traffic. Now remember we could hear people talking in the next cabin how do you think semi trucks down shifting for city traffic sound. We called the number we had no answer, We walked to the 20 steps to the office. No one was at the office that said OPEN. Had to text the number we had they said they would move us 20 feet to cabin #10 nope no thanks remember who is on the other side of the wall you share. They then offered us cabin 7 so 30 feet off of Highway #20 NO THANK YOU. Whoever I was texting began to tell me how we used the amenities for a hour before we contacted them. lol I have a phone log where I called at 3:21 . We went back and forth blah blah blah. I asked for a refund. They could keep the " $215 for the first night and refund the other 3 nights we paid for. We got" we saved your rooms for three month blah blah and you're not getting a refund. They could move us to two other cabins. "I GUESS THEY WERE TURNING FOLKS AWAY BECAUSE OF US" all I can say Do not stay here. It's not so nice.

Lodgepole pine trees permeate the area and offer nice coverage. The sites are good sized, the bathrooms have hot hand dryers for cold days and have large dishwashing stations attached. The "village" is very cute - plenty of shops, a sporting goods store, good restaurant options, a post office, and much more. The prices were great - $5.50 local IPA pints on tap, $2 for a nice bowl of real mashed potatoes and gravy, etc. A short walk to Yellowstone falls, as well as a short drive in any direction to other major attractions. When we were here it snowed but the pines were easy to tie tarps off of. This site drained really well, and so although we had lots of precipitation we stayed very dry. There is firewood by at the camp entrance and they give you hot showers for every day that you're there. My only complaint was that our specific site (A7) wasn't very level and it was difficult to find a flat enough spot to set up our tent. We ended up sleeping on quite the angle, which after 3 nights is obviously not ideal. I also wished the showers were open 24/7. If people are out watching wildlife until later into the evening or get up earlier to get a good start on their day they end up missing the hours for showers.
