Came here for a last minute haircut before my Wedding and walked out extremely satisfied. The music was also on point while I waited.

New in town and searching for a quality cut and beard mustache trim. Went in the first time just for beard trim/line up. She has talent and I liked the shape but she missed some spots under my neck. Noticed when I got home so I cleaned up what she missed. Her shop is dark with most light coming through a window. She moved quick but I shouldn't have to clean up my beard after paying $25. I decided to give her a second at a haircut/beard trim. She rushed me in and out the chair, talking about her next Navy post graduation client, talking with her friend and puppy in shop instead of paying attention to detail. Missed my lip line and spots under my neck again. What really got me was she dry cut my hair. Didn't wet and follow my part line or what I told her about my cut. Took that way too high. That messed up my cowlick. 2 on the sides fade, with a trim on top is what I told her... One of the laziest and softest cuts I've had in years. Better hit the sports clips or supper cuts and save $50 on bad lighting and rushed cuts that mess up your look if you wanna keep it tight. Pros -- a decent haircut. She's basically friendly, sort of. Cons -- this is definitely a "this is my place and I run it the way I want to" setup. There is, first of all, nowhere to wait. You stand around in a dirt parking lot, outdoors, waiting. She does put out a wooden bench for you to sit on, but that's it. The neighborhood is not exactly Rodeo Drive, either. The place also has a biker/tattoo parlor vibe which, if that's not your thing, can feel a little sketchy. The whole setup left kind of a bad taste in my mouth. read more

I'd been wanting to get in and get a cut for years I'm usually bald and clean shaven, but a recent ankle break and surgery led me to let my beard grow out. After a few months it was looking scruffy. My wife made me an appointment today 10/25/2019 at 4:30. Went in and got a fantastic beard fade trim up and bald head scraping from Red herself! Finally a new great barber. Question 2) why do the buzzes on the side go up to different heights i.e. 1 inch higher on right than the left Question 3) why did I tip $10 on a $20 haircut that my friends have been roasting my relentlessly for? That's no big deal, but she also trimmed my beard without my asking. It takes months to grow a full goatee and I was about half-way there. She was really rude. I walked in and she was on her phone the whole time. I asked her if they took walk ins and the first thing she said was that i couldn't park where I had parked (I had parked in front of a BIG sign that says customer parking). Obviously I was confused but didn't question it and I moved my car. Came back and asked if I could actually park where she had told me and she gave me some sarcastic, rude answer and I couldn't take it any longer so I walked out.
