Landon made my vision for a coffee table a reality! I contacted Landon about wanting a stump coffee table and he showed me a stunning unique stump that was not what I was originally expecting from his website and Etsy. I was impressed by its shape and character and it is truly one of a kind. Landon sandblasted it and stained it, and then added a sanded and stained redwood slab on top that perfectly paired with the base. Cannot believe how incredible it turned out. He packed it up in my car for me to haul it back to the Bay Area and it made the journey home and is now the most impressive live edge furniture I have ever seen. Purchased a beautiful redwood coffee tabletop. It arrived with the black live edge completely saturated with an unidentifiable substance that looked like an opaque dirty resin--unsightly. The top was otherwise beautiful, but because the live edge is substantial, it was unusable in that state, and the underside was untreated and had areas of rot. So, we let it sit in our guest bedroom for a year until finally finding a redwood finishing artist to refinish the whole thing. He had to take off the entire live edge, but the final result is still beautiful. His take on this company is that it turns out its product as quickly as possible without regard for quality. What you see in a photo on their website may not reflect what you actually receive. Poor workmanship can easily be hidden in photos. Landon, the owner, was extremely defensive and blamed me for approving it per the photo he sent before shipping, which obviously didn't show the very, very poor workmanship. read more
