Please use caution when doing business with this company. I was searching for discontinued flooring throughout the US and was excited to hear that North Coast Tile and Flooring had the discontinued flooring in stock. This meant that I could match the flooring that I started in my kitchen 3 years ago. The ordering process was smooth and the staff was friendly. HOWEVER, when it came time to ship the flooring I wasn't informed until AFTER the product had shipped that they only had 7 of the 12 boxes of flooring I had already paid for. The sales associate was very aware of the fact that I was searching for discounted flooring. What was I going to do with only a fraction of the flooring I had calculated to finish my flooring project?! In addition, the pictures of the product I had requested be sent BEFORE the product shipped didn't come until after it had shipped showing damaged flooring! As you can see from the pics below the flooring was damaged and they sent it anyway. I had to fight with the manager, Kerry, to get the refund on the damaged product. She wanted to refund me half of the price of the damaged boxes because "I could cut the damaged ends and use the rest." WHAT?! In addition, I had to pay a freight company to come pick up and deliver the products which wasn't cheap. Keep in mind that I paid for 12 boxes to be shipped and I only received 7. So, I way overpaid for shipping of damaged goods. I tried to be fair and asked for only a portion of the shipping to be refunded and she refused. Lastly, when they did the refund I was under refunded. They never sent an itemized receipt of the transactions and if I hadn't done the math I would have been duped AGAIN. Poor business all around in my opinion. I get that companies make mistakes, but right your wrongs! read more

Purchased engineered flooring here. The sales associates were very helpful and quite knowledgeable and they made taking multiple flooring samples home a breeze. The product is truly excellent--my installer was impressed with it and it really improved the look for my kitchen and mud room--I'm over the top happy. If you are new to this (as I was), it's very important to understand what you are ordering. Make sure the staff knows your needs thoroughly because they don't know what you don't tell them. These guys were insanely loud working in a residential neighborhood, during the week at 9 pm. Not only is this unprofessional , but also violates the sound ordinance.
