The place is lite up with bright lights very enticing from the outside . When you walk in it's beautifully lite bright colors . The two girls up front clearly explains with high energy how it works . Each game is either a $1 , $3 , or $5 a shot so entertainment wise quite pricey. I bought my daughter a $50 package she was very excited. As we started to play she remained excited I started to feel discouraged as I continued to watch her grab dolls getting her excited for a win and as they reach the top before even moving to the drooping area the doll drops. I watch her grab dolls and watch it drop with ease claw having a very loose grip at least 15 times . It was making me feel kind of upset . My daughter was still excited as she is only 6 years old . She managed to get one doll thank god I didn't wanna walk out there empty handed but it was just because it had a rope attached to it . The doll dropped from the claw again but because the rope caught on the claw it was technically a win . So I asked the lady to open the door case so she could get her win . I have a video on here that shows how loose the claws are . I'm sure there is a technique. If you get so many you can trade in for other dolls . Only reason I give this place a 3 is just the value . We spent the $50 in less then 10 mins and it was killing me watching people all around me lose there money so fast . Kind of like a kid slot machine. If you like claw machines. Dave n busters might be a better deal more wins and money last longer . I couldn't run a business getting excited and watching kids spend so much money knowing the machines are very loose but that's just me . This place is definitely making $$ I saw people dropping $50, $100 lasting them 15-20 mins max . Definitely a money making business. Other than that though place was nice and clean , staff very upbeat and smiling music was good just wish I hadn't left the way I felt . Main thing was the kids don't feel that way but probably cause it's not their money . She enjoyed it . I would stay longer if my money didn't go so quick . Just felt I could've had more value taking her somewhere else .

Reschedule policy was the same price as our individual package. Cancellation policy was more than the price of one of us. It's a very expensive policy. And they definitely don't care if you come back or not. I would not recommend. Seems like a bad idea to have very frustrating policies in place for a Rage Room. ;)

Tried Out a Rage Room for the First Time - Totally Worth It!…read more I've been hearing about this rage room for a while and finally decided to check it out. I called ahead to ask about any discounts for locals or birthdays, and they told me they do offer a local discount with valid ID -- nice little bonus! They also said they had availability that day, so I figured, why not? The whole experience was super satisfying. Ever feel like breaking something at work but don't want to get fired? Break n Anger is the place to let that urge out safely and legally. Here's how it works: You get to choose 2 items from the top shelf and 5 items each from shelves 2, 3, and 4 -- so about 17 items total to smash. After signing the waivers, you suit up in a jumpsuit, gloves, and a helmet. They offer earplugs too, but I skipped those -- the sound of breaking stuff is half the fun. Honestly, the time flew by -- I went all in for 10 minutes and it felt like seconds. I probably should've paced myself, but I really wanted to let the rage out. No regrets though -- it was super fun, and I can totally see this being a great team-building activity. I'm definitely planning to go back and try the premium items next time!

I visited Sports Box once a few months ago and it was a very unpleasant experience…read more I booked about 3-4 days in advance and I got 3 spots reserved and paid for all ahead of my reserved date and time. I received a few text messages with reminders prior to my date. Not once in the reminders was I told of how to get into the mall after hours. I called Sports Box while I was outside, but there was no answer for about 15 mins. I did arrive earlier than my reserved time to check in, but by the time I had gotten in touch with someone it was my time to start my reservation and that was already disappointing at how long it took to get into the building. After being checked in for 3 reserved spots I am told that one of my spots doesn't have the golfing option as it was broken. I wasn't offered another spot, due to it being used by others already. I wasn't offered any compensation, I had to ask the attendants for compensation which I was met with attitude from one of the attendants. Another attendant was pleasant and said he would have to call their boss as they weren't sure what they could do. Throughout my night I waited for an update, but no update was given on what could be done to compensate me for one of the spots not being fully operable. So we started a bit late because we couldn't get into the building and we also weren't offered to finish a bit later, which I would've appreciated since we started a few mins late. At the end of the night when leaving I asked the attendant if they had spoken to their boss and the attendant said they were authorized to give me a $75 Gift Card only, which I took but it is no good to me as I will not be going back. To me it was not a pleasant experience all around. This is not a place I recommend based off of my first experience here.

No "thanks for waiting", no greeting really. We asked for a box for an hour. We asked if they offer military discount, he handed us a brochure as he said "you can call that number and ask". You work here, you don't know? And what is calling the number going to do if no one answers & you're collecting payment from us now? The soccer ball in the box he put us in was torn & warped, he gave us a different ball that was also torn but at least not warped. The baseball was missing, so I went to ask him for one as he was sitting at the counter & he said "it's a softball", still sitting down. Ok, whatever - can I have one? It seemed like he didn't want to be there. Not a good first impression at all. Unsure if we'll ever return to this location. The lack of customer service was immense.

You need to gain access to the trailhead as it is in the military housing behind Tripler Hospital. Fortunately, my hiking buddy works for the military and we were able to get to the trailhead with no problems. There was ample parking and appears to be fairly safe given that this is on military area. So while I wouldn't recommend leaving your car unlocked, the chances of your car getting broken into is pretty slim. Going up the paved path is pretty straight forward. Just make sure you take the HECO road on the left once you're on the "trail." The incline is steady and you're quickly admiring views of Oahu. We went around lunchtime so the sun was overhead and shade was a bit scarce. I can imagine that once the guavas are ripe, the air would smell guavaey lol. So it was a relief to get to the end of the paved area, do some drone shots and go back down. We would definitely go again to do the full ridge!

When arriving, the check-in counter is on the Keawe Street side. They get you all setup in a lane and explain how this all works. There's a whiteboard to keep track of your scores, but you can make up the rules and games as you go. There's a QR code with suggested games to play, along with a snack and beverage menu. Our coach Myles was fantastic. He was checking people in, bartending, filling waters, and bussing dishes. All the while, he would pass by our lane, give us tips and tricks, along with very encouraging words of affirmation. It's not about strength but finesse at the end of the day. With 2 people, I would say that 90-min felt very long, but at the same time, we got our money's worth.

Never thought I'd enjoy virtual golf as much as I do now…read more Last year, I signed up for a membership because I used to go to the driving range 2-3 times a week and play on the course every other week. With how much driving range prices have increased over the years, the membership has actually helped me save money each month. Being able to play 18 holes twice a week on the simulator alone makes it worth every penny. The Golfzon simulator is also the best one I've tried compared to other sims. One feature I really enjoy is being able to track my stats and review my swing analysis videos directly in the Golfzon app on my phone -- something I can't get at a regular driving range. I also enjoy the flexibility of having private late-night sessions after a long day at work. It's a great alternative to the gym and a fun way to switch things up. Bringing friends to play in the virtual league has been a blast too. On top of that, the owner, Anant, is very welcoming and accommodating. The members I've met are all different skill levels, and everyone has been super friendly and cool. This is definitely the golfing community I've been looking for.

I love that you get the whole place to yourself, the room is huge and there's a lot of things to do aside from the simulator itself. Kahi is an easygoing guy and made everything simple to understand when teaching us about how to use the simulator. We liked it so much that we signed up for membership that day. We're here maybe like once a week. It's also kid friendly! We have a 1 and 4 yr old that we bring sometimes. We always book the 2hr reservation and that gets us through an 18hole course (2 players) and time for driving range or parts of another course after. They also have an app connected with the simulator that records your swing and gives you feedback on it. It records your scores on the courses too. Booking is also super easy! Communication with the owners is also really good, they respond pretty quickly. So far they've done an outstanding job. If you love to golf, but can't go out to the courses all the time then a membership here or even just visiting here to try it out is definitely a must!
