The trackman golf system is excellent, it gives you great data, instant video feedback, swing path and club head analysis, all the other data you could ask for (spin rate, launch angle, etc) and if you have a trackman account it will save your data so you can view later. It also has games you can play if you bring the kids so you can be was serious or as fun as you want to be. Great place, I will definitely be coming back!!!

You can pitch in, spend your time with a great group, and grab tips on your grip, swing, and focus on a couple of clubs. On a day, not for charity, this is a great spot. Head in with your clubs, reserve online or give them a call. They have seating at each bay, as well as in the center by a pool table. There is a tap wall with beer, seltzer and wine, and they sell a few snacks. Really friendly and helpful people working there. A golf coach with excellent advice. Today, they also had a local celebrity, Miss Teen West Oahu to meet and greet for the cause. Fun!

The people are friendly and there's no one to bother you when you play. I did play at 11am on a weekday but there was no one around. I played 18 holes in 3 hours. I heard they have new owners and we should be seeing a lot of improvements and soon. Maybe we'll even see a Makaha west again too with Resorts!! I know I know but we'll see.

The ball holders are falling apart, cracked, some are almost useless. The mats are worn down all the way through the bottom in certain areas... Really bad, disappointing.

Cheap for military and civilians, I'm pretty sure if you're a civilian you can still get base access and play by yourself. Ask the pro shop for assistance there. There isn't a restaurant or clubhouse with snacks, so bring your own. But there is an awesome chipping green that is easy to get to and practice on! Putting green is available behind the tee blocks on hole one. TIPS & TRICKS: * Pack a raincoat and umbrella, it tends to drizzle up here more often than other courses.

As luck would have it, the person who reached out and was available at the time was the head PGA instructor Oliver. I was a little unprepared (no clubs, no gloves), but Oliver was very much go with the flow and was able to accomodate me. He asked me what I wanted to work on, and that's exactly what we did. I improved immensely, because Oliver was able to quickly diagnose the main problems with my swing and explain in an uncomplicated way (without too many "swing thoughts"). I'm excited to go home and practice/implement the changes to my swing.

We were promised a certain price from the Mizuno Rep (Russ Chong) and he told us Oliver (Island Pacific Golf Academy) would bill us and call us when the clubs came in. A week before the clubs came in, our credit card was charged $400 more than the original price. I tried to get a hold of the Mizuno rep with no response and Oliver keeps giving us the run around. To this day he hasn't given us a refund. This was a hard and expensive lesson to learn. Don't do business with Oliver Oliquiano. From other reviews I've read it seems like he has a habit of ripping people off. Shame on him! Especially in Hawaii where the golf community is so tight knit!
