I needed an airbag and an airbag module put in, and they gave me an estimate of 150, which I was impressed cause I knew that was too cheap for what I needed. The owner, Bob Dow, said it takes two hours, and that's it. I was more impressed cause online said 6 hours, which I told him, and he said, "You're wrong." I know what I'm doing, and there are two ways of taking it out." Nope, he was wrong and must have read the wrong plans to the car. So after he realized he was wrong he said he would come back the next day which he did and put the passenger side airbag in and told me he would come back after I got the other part in cause he couldn't find it. So he said pay me 75 now and 75 later and of coarse didn't have change for 100 so I said keep the other 25 and I'll only owe you 50 when you get back he said OK that's fine. I called and called left messages and never came back. Then that year I brought my 97 Camaro to Vogels where they contacted Bob Dow to come down and do the guy. I had no idea of this because I would have told them no he owes me money back or to do the job for the price he quoted me. So he got me twice on 1 job. Dude is a real piece of work and to me is a con artist. So if you use this guy, which I recommend you don't watch out cause he might scam you like he scammed me. He told me well it was more work, and I gave you an estimate of 150, and it should be more, but 150 is fine. I would have been OK to pay more cause, like he said, an estimate is an estimate, not a full price, and might go up. Don't low ball your self cause you were wrong and took more time. I would have been glad to pay more for your service. SO AGAIN, IF YOU USE HIM WATCH OUT FOR HIS SCAMS CAUSE NO ONE LIKES TO BE SCAMMED.

Rather than making an unnecessary repair, he conducted tests and applied a specialty lock lubricant. This is an honest gentleman who handles dozens of steering column and ignition repairs every year. We'll call Stolen & Recovered when circumstances require it. Luckily, we saved the cash this time around.

"after a deer hit me and a unicorn poked holes in my engine- they touched it and my exhaust pipe only leaked rubies and diamonds and I never felt sadness again" yeah... ok. Our 2019 blue Jeep Renegade was towed here after a deer collision. Law enforcement placed a no-hold on the vehicle--yet this dump is now demanding $522 by the end of the week after ignoring over seven calls in the last two months- other than one. When my fiance reached out, he was told to "come in and discuss it in person." One of those "this could've been a phone call but instead let's waste your time and inconvenience you" situations. They knew we had no vehicle to get there and no interest in selling the car, yet still tried to convince us to sign over the title. Translation? They attempted to take ownership of our car by playing the system--and when that didn't work, they flipped the script. They never asked for my contact info, even though I'm the legal owner. If they had asked my fiancé for my number, he would've given it. Instead, they deliberately targeted him with rude, dismissive, and evasive communication, treating him like a nuisance instead of a customer--and made it a problem for both of us. I work full-time in a special education classroom, so I can't always answer calls--but they made zero effort to reach me or handle this professionally. Instead, they blamed him for "not doing things their way." This wasn't a miscommunication. This was a predatory business trying to exploit silence as consent. They had options. They chose manipulation. My father was a diesel mechanic. He taught me how to spot places like this. Unless someone from this business contacts me directly to resolve this like professionals, I'll be arriving with law enforcement next week. And I won't be walking away without my vehicle.
