His staff is second to none. I love the wonderful ladies that make everything work up front. Absolutely love going to just talk to them; they are a blast. Last visit he informed me of on set of cataracts.Today he gave me objective and subjective outlook of my situation, due to the option of waiting to do surgery at a later date. The information given was very clear, leaving the option up to me. I understand my situation as explained which is most important. I chose to wait for the surgery but he said I can change my mind and he will move forward any time I would like. For now, returning in 6 months. My exam started at the scheduled time, rare! Early Saturday afternoon I left six prescription slips written for my mother who had just been released from two months in the hospital. I returned at 2:32 to find the doors locked, the lights off, and the pharmacists and staff finishing their work in the back getting ready to depart. Closing time is 2:30. Relieved that they were still there since the prescriptions were essential, I knocked on the door. They all looked up to the door, looked at each other, and returned to whatever they were doing. I knocked against the glass a second time with no response, nor acknowledgement. Panicked, I knocked more loudly a third time, they looked up again. One pharmacist retreated to the back door presumably to depart and avoid any interruption to the rest of his day. I used my telephone to call hoping they might at least answer the phone. They ignored the ringing even though banging on the door I pointed to my telephone. I continued knocking even louder. Two people eventually came to the door holding my pharmacy slips- no prescriptions had been filled. They were under the mistaken impression that I wanted prices first, so they decided to do nothing. Using a telephone to call us didn't seem to be an option. At this juncture it might be useful to know that my family has lived in Reedley for over 90 years. Same address, same telephone number since dial phones hit town in the 1950's. Uncharitable, inhospitable, unprofessional, unacceptable.
