Based on many recent positive visitor reviews, people consistently praise the stunning landscapes, historic mansion, tranquil atmosphere, and endless photo opportunities. I'm giving it 5 stars because it's truly a beautiful place to spend a couple of hours. Whether you want to leisurely stroll through the gardens, take lots of photos, or do a little of both, about two hours feels just right. There's also plenty of free parking, which makes visiting easy. While the current admission price of $22 per adult feels a bit high, the beauty of the property and the overall experience still make it worth the visit. Throughout the year they host great special events, including classic car shows and an incredible illuminated pumpkin trail before Halloween that has become a Long Island favorite.

A lot of local libraries do offer Old Westbury Gardens passes so definitely check out your local library before purchasing tickets to see if they're available!

He went on every coin-fed ride possible, he fed a variety of farm animals (I loved the goats), we went to see the giraffe, he rode the train, we ate lunch, we walked around, and our visit ended with us buying him (and his sister) a small little trinket. Anything larger, and I would've been severely chastised by my daughter for buying them gifts when she very clearly said DON'T BUY THEM ANYTHING. Lol. This is a really nice place for children (and adults), great for birthday parties - which my grandson has had here, and a great way to spend a few hours. I suppose I was reading and clicking through the website too quickly because I missed the delivery fee was $6.99 and another fee for $1.00. It wasn't on the receipt that was e-mailed to me, instead I saw it on the receipt when I received my order. It took about an hour after I put in the order to arrive though I'm very close and it was off peak time. The Old English Panini was tasty and filling, but not worth all the additional fees. Another time, around Thanksgiving, I purchased an award winning old fashioned apple crumb pie for a family gathering. Since White Post Farms sells freshly baked homemade pies daily, I definitely wanted to try it. However, I thought the apple pie was okay and nothing really special unfortunately.

The boat was very well kept and both were extremely knowledgeable and helpful as well. They even called Braco's to have them cook our catch when we go back to the dock. Mike made good use of his knowledge of the fishing grounds and his array of electronics to put us on the fish time after time.
