I came to Eisenhower Park to come eat the loot my homie and I got from Stew Leonard's. What a legendary grocery store that is. As we sat in the midst of this park digging into our pizza, smashburgers, and chicken, there was a group of 11 65+ year old ladies sitting in their sun blocking chairs just living life enjoying each others company. I've lived enough life to know that no amount of money or individual success could replace a strong, core group of friends like that. I was gonna take a picture from a distance but thought that would be a selfish endeavor, so I'm writing this review instead. Also, I must shout out Dwight D. Eisenhower. I'm balls deep in a WWII obsession right now, and he went from a 5-star general leading the Allied victory over the Germans to being the leader of the free world 7 years later. Iconic career path. This park was nice though. A lot of seating, open space, and great people watching while surrounded by nature that allows you to breathe and connect with the universe. This is my go to place for a nice relaxing run/walk. Sometimes you can spot turtles during the warmer months and baby geese which always brings me joy! People of all ages come here to relax or exercise. This is my happy place and I love coming back to it! Overall it's a great park with many things to do. Definitely the best place to be.

This is way more than your regular park. It is a complete experience for anything that interests you... Golf, tennis, swimming, lakeside theatre. This place is awesome. Don't forget all their picnic areas and of course the most magnificent golf can be played here. Three amazing courses here. Most people don't realize that this park is larger than Central Park. It is huge! The park is so well maintained and very easy to travel through. It can get extremely busy when there are special events happening here, like the World Cricket Cup or major concert at the Harry Chapin Theater. To summarize: - 14 lighted tennis courts and 2 Pickleball courts - Long Island's premier Northwell Health Ice Center consists of two - indoor, NHL-sized skating rinks, as well as one outdoor rink. - Athletic fields, several lighted for night play, include 14 ballfields, 2 cricket fields and two football fields. - The park's world-class Nassau County Aquatic Center includes a fitness center (Leisure Pass and fee required). - There is one full-court basketball court, outfitted with new fiberglass backboards. Thank you to Nassau County who keeps this pristine park as a showcase to our county. Take a drive down with the family and enjoy the tranquility of this beautiful area. This review could go on for days. Take a look at their website for an even more detailed view of the park KUDOs to the entire team who make Eisenhower Park at shining star in our magnificent county.

I love this park for getting in my daily exercise. The walking trail is smooth, well-maintained, and great for all ages and fitness levels. I sometimes bring my dog for a nice stroll too. There's plenty of parking available, which makes it super convenient.

Luminicity Festival is being held at Eisenhower Park and plenty of parking. Great location nice staff dress warmly buy hot chocolate or a trinket for the kids. My granddaughter's loved it had a blast plenty to do and walk around and see perfect for a family a date or just a walk-through. Make some time to see this beautiful event for the holidays

The amount of offerings that Eisenhower Park has is overwhelming. The park is sizably bigger than Central Park with much more to offer. From a pond surrounding memorial of 9/11 to the veterans memorials from each one of the wars the US has participated in since the Vietnam war. These two are just the beginning of what the offerings are from sports to entertainment to historical to just fun. Eisenhower Park is a park of greatness

I love the vibe of this park. It's bright and friendly. I come here often just to walk. Been coming here my whole life, actually. Loads of people always playing soccer and baseball, cricket (even), football or just jogging. There's a cool pond with turtles, an amphitheater, a war memorial, playgrounds, two houses for some reason, an ice rink, a pool, soda machines, lots of clean bathrooms, a few tennis and pickle ball courts, squirrels, benches and trees. It's a nice park. Oh yeah, and you can barbecue!

Very nice & spacious park with beautiful views of a pond, fountain & a memorial. Perfect spot for a stroll, exercise or a picnic. We came on a Saturday afternoon & was surprise not to see a lot of people around. Parking is free and there is a a restroom on site.

It was a beautiful day and the wife wanted to get out and enjoy it. Picked up some breakfast sandwiches and sat by the pond to eat - couple of memorials nearby. After we paid respect, we went over to the mini golf course. Great way to spend a few hours.

Beautiful park located in the heart of Nassau County. This FREE park offers everything from picnic, BBQ, biking, strolling and even free performances at their lakeside theater at times. Ample parking and restroom facilities throughout.

The Red course is a disgrace. Horrible condition. Every green. Every tee box. Every hole!

Ask the Community - Eisenhower Park

Does anyone know if they are having any decorations for the holidays this year?

I have not seen any as of now.

I am a NYC resident and would like to frequent the park over the summer. Is there a way to mitigate the $10 parking fee?

all you need is to bring one person from Nassau County with you, As long as anyone in your car can show an ID with a Nassau address everyone is good, Otherwise, no. this is how they make money over the summer!

Hi, we are planning to visit the Park for a family picnic/bbq..is there any fee to enter the park/picnic areas..? Are the kids play ground near by the picnic areas?

You can reserve a picnic area in Eisenhower Park with a valid Nassau County leisure pass and a fee. There is a non-reserved area in parking field #3.

Is there a fee to use the fitness trail and what are the hours that people can go on the fitness trail?

There is no fee. Best to go during day light hours at night poor visibility you may miss some workout stations.

So I'm planning my family picnic in July to the park. My question are is there a pool and does the picnic area have tables?

There aren't any outdoor swimming pools. There is an indoor aquatic center with an indoor pool. There are many picnic areas with tables and grills. If you have a large group you can reserve areas.

Is there a lot of stuff that a toddler would be able to do?

Yes. There are several playgrounds and picnic areas.
