I found the EmbroidMe location on Sheridan Blvd on Yelp via a search for companies that did custom…read morehats, as well as had high ratings as I didn't want to mess around with my project--especially as I was somewhat crunched for time. I can't recall now what ultimately pushed me towards using EmbroidMe, but I'm so glad I did. Working with Denise, the manager, was an absolute pleasure. She was great with communication, and wasn't afraid to offer constructive, professional advice when I asked for it during the process of designing 15 custom hats for an alumni gathering I was attending. As this was an especially important occasion--our 25th anniversary--I had to have the hats be right the first time, and completed on-time as the gathering was out-of-state, and under two weeks away. Throughout the process, Denise was in immediate contact when any design questions came up. This was especially reassuring as they actually took a hand-drawn design I had scanned over to them (detailed picture and multiple-sized words for front and back of hat) and turned it into a stencil/template for the hats, giving it a very personalized look. I couldn't believe the quality and attention to detail in recreating my sketch. Additionally, the color-matching her team was able to produce with the embroidery? Man, it was amazing! Oh, and they were completed in plenty of time, and nailed the agreed-upon price. Denise and her team just knocked it out of the park, and my alumni buddies were blown away with the finished product. I couldn't have been more proud to share such high-quality work for the occasion, and all thanks to Denise and her team at EmbroidMe. Highly recommended, and thank you SO much, Denise!!

On top of all that, their paper recommendations were excellent and the printing quality was top notch. Their pricing is competitive and I love that I can personally pick it up, see proofs, and talk to a human being and not a chat bot. AND, there are dogs to pet when you go in. So, DUH. This could have been a case of not hearing the customer clearly on a cell phone, or possibly over eager to sell or any other common issue when speaking for the first time on a cell at the car wash. Either way, I am still searching for a great business card place whose prices are reasonable Photo below is the same photo I use for the cards, simple verbiage change not work $300 plus for simple title changes.

Update: The day after I posted my original review, Ivan…read morecontacted me via text to let me know that my shirts were ready and that he would be happy to drive the order to me. I really appreciated the effort but truth be told, my house is really close to his office (which Ivan was aware of) so it wasn't much of a gesture. No one was home so I never saw Ivan in person during this exchange. Sadly, after waiting almost two months for this minor shirt order, the shirts were the entirely wrong material and not what we wanted at all. :/ At this point, I let Ivan know that we would just take the shirts "as is" and not try to reorder. I was saddened by the lack of true customer service here. Ivan was shown the exact material that we wanted (fly fishing shirts) and instead managed to order shirts that needed to be laundered. Mistakes happen but we brought in two examples of what we wanted and we were very clear about the material needed. Instead of taking any responsibility, he offered excuses (print shop is running behind, our office is short staffed, distributors sent different material than I ordered). In reality, a sincere apology would have gone a long way. I don't even blame Ivan. I just don't think he was taught anything in the way of customer service. He seemed genuinely surprised that I was disappointed. Prior to posting any of this, I left a message for the general manager (Joe) and he never bothered to call me back. I was hoping to fix things instead of posting a negative review. Oh well. Perhaps this review will encourage them to focus on their customer service skills in the future with others. Only bright spot was the receptionist (Amy) who was always pleasant. Will not be back. Ever.

Dogs do not respond to screaming demands, no living creatures do!! Possibly misunderstand or simply not a place for my business. Worse, I did toss out all the business cards, could not wait to leave the place each time, due to the screaming at the owners' dog, triggered too much in me, with having my dog whom I would leave in my car, Aspen is not subjected to such treatment. I wish for this business to take some of these suggestion and hopefully improve. Both Father and owner were pleasant to me and the price, well I had my cards redone, a new place was perfection with $100 less in cost for more cards. No photos were taken due to quality and tossed out. With regrets.........
