While looking for things to do when we weren't at the games, the Little Toot Dolphin Adventure kept appearing near the top of almost every recommendation list. It absolutely did not disappoint. We couldn't believe how many dolphins we saw, and how close they came to the boat. It was an incredible experience. The commentary from the staff was also very informative and helped make the trip even more enjoyable. We would definitely do this again on future visits to the area.

Upon closer to the time for our day I had a follow up conversation with Cassie who provided even more information that brought comfort not only to me but my guests as well. They provided a cooler with ice and water as well as numerous floats and shelling bags. The whole experience was relaxing and refreshing. Our captain for the day was Jordan and she was Spectacular with keeping us on time and showing us around. We did a 4 hour boat tour but were able to have time on the slide and visit two islands. Both were very friendly and informative. Of course the boat tours can't control how many dolphins you see, but I saw the most dolphins I've ever seen on a boat tour here in Florida on this boat tour. I believe that was because dolphins seem to be more active earlier in the morning. We saw probably over 20 dolphins, including baby dolphins that still had stripes (meaning it was a newborn)!

Plan about an 45 minute to an hour drive if you are coming from there if you are hitting up the Clearwater area. The check in process was easy and we got our picture taken, which is available for a small charge if you want the purchase it after the tour through the Tropics website. There is a bar, bathroom, and plenty of seating on the boat during the tour. It would have been nice if it was a little cooler, but we can't help what the summer brings with the heat. There was a breeze off and on, which helped a lot. The captain and the staff members were great. The captain gave a informative speech while we were going to the halfway point about the Clearwater Bay and the dolphins. We saw lots of dolphins come up around the boat and there is plenty of picture taking while you are on the boat. I recommend checking it out while you're in the area to amp up the boat game!
