I'm a teen and I have heard all of it, from doctors not understanding your pain, to giving you false information, I can't wait to go back in April for testing! And it's not even pricey (atleast for me.)

The way front desk handles customer service in this day and age is absolutely terrible. They have another third party service that has to verify insurance and they might take whatever time they might so you have to wait for may be 10m or 2 hours, who knows! Ok can I give you my info with you? Brash No! Only they will do it, you can wait for I don't know how long or pay a hefty fee now and you will have to send details to your insurance and deal with them. Ok if I pay the fee now can I see the doctor? No I don't know how long it will take as you were late! No I was on time, your team could not figure insurance. Sorry just bad! Rough experience over all and just didn't feel a top shelf service for what this facility could be.

The entire WD team has been nothing but upfront with me about all bills and expenses, and the staff is truly incredible. I cannot sing their praises enough. From the consultant to reception to the nurses, anesthesiologist, and surgeon, Dr. Chike-Obi, everyone I've had the pleasure of interacting with has made me feel like I am in the very best of hands. Dr. Chike-Obi's team has also been extremely communicative. They have responded quickly to all of my emails, called in prescriptions I've requested same day, and one of the nurses, Nicole, even gave me her direct number so that I can conveniently call or text with any questions/concerns. I don't want to say I've been needy or high maintenance ... it is my body and a permanent procedure, so I should feel empowered to ask any and all questions that I have. But I certainly have reached out a lot, and I've been really pleased with the care and attention I've received. Most importantly, I am certain that the WD team is totally and completely dedicated to their clients' health and safety. I went in for my procedure, and when the team realized that I had a family history of malignant hyperthermia, they immediately reassessed and rescheduled my procedure to a date and time when every possible precaution could be taken on my behalf. Rob, my anesthesiologist, was so empathetic -- he answered all my questions and assured me that the new course of action would prevent any adverse reactions to the anesthesia and even make my recovery a bit easier. I've not yet had my surgery, but thanks to the WD team, I'll be going into it with very little worry. I feel confident that my procedure and the recovery process will be as pleasant as all my other interactions have been thus far. If you're looking for bargains or quick-turn procedures, this isn't your place. But personally, dermatological care and cosmetic work are not things I'd ever want a bargain on, nor would I ever want my care to be rushed. This is a top-notch practice. Very lucky that they're here in Austin!

Only after they receive the doctor referral will you be able to schedule an appt. I went to see him for a second opinion for a rash under both my armpits. His assistant evaluated the rash and answered my questions. He determined it was an allergic reaction and prescribed some steroidal cream. He did explain the steps he would take, which I greatly appreciated. $60 later, I find that the rash was ringworm and simple anti-fungal cream worked as suggested by a 4th doctor I went to see. The doctor is nice, attentive, and listened to my concerns. I guess he just misdiagnosed. Overall: 3 out of 5 as the scheduling is the biggest hassle overall (minus the misdiagnosis).

I arrived on time, had my paperwork done is less than ten minutes and then sat and waited. At least two patients arrived after me but were called in before. The front desk was neither nice nor rude, but seemed unconcerned when I said I couldn't wait any longer and left 45 minutes after my appointment time was supposed to start. In the dark ages people were forced to wait an eternity to see the local medicine man; in 2011 we have options and our time is just as valuable as the healthcare provider. I refuse to wait for services when I showed up at the right time - shame on your scheduling and/or timing Dr Reichenberg.

WOW! Every person that works here is so nice and professional. I love that all the staff are medical providers and have been extensively trained in every service they offer. I have recently got my botox and filler here with two of their injectors Lily and Monika. Just due to my scheduling conflicts I saw two different providers. The same thing happened the second time. The third time, I was given an iPad to fill out a form. I have a disability that makes it very difficult for me to type on an iPad or phone, so I asked for help with the form. The manager complained (in a very confrontational manner) that I did not fill out the form myself. I have never been treated that badly before or since. That manager is the only service person who has ever complained about my need for disability accommodations. When I suggested that all forms be sent to clients before the first visit, so problems could be noted and solved before clients had to drive to the studio, he became quite defensive. He showed no empathy. I have never been treated so badly by any service provider. I find it ironic that a manager at a school that teaches people to perform a service career would be so callous. My advice is that you consider driving up north to Austin's other laser school, where service is impeccable.

I was told by Dr. Sholar that Sydney was the laser hair removal specialist that I would be with throughout my treatment. At my second appointment, that was not true. I had a different person. It went a little differently but fine. I was treated cordially. Again after my 2nd treatment I scheduled me 3rd appointment on the date recommended by the new esthetician. On the day of my 3rd appointment I got stuck in traffic, like many of us do in Austin, so I called to let them know I would be a few minutes late. The person answering the phone said that they didn't have any laser appointments on the schedule on this day. I said are you sure? And she checked my file. She could see that my appointment had been canceled and told me that their laser person was out of the clinic for the remaining of the week. I asked that when she returned to please have her call so that I could schedule my next appt ASAP. She could also see that no one had reached out to me to reschedule my 3rd appt. Needless to say I was upset. I waited for call to get reschedule and never received one. They have AWFUL Customer Service once they get your money! I have NEVER had any contact from them after they got paid. No one has reached out to get me scheduled again for appointments that they said were so important for my results. They got their Money and Do Not care. They have not contacted me at all. So, I emailed Amy, the person the receptionist suggested. I have requested the money for the services I have not received back and was told it would take 7-10 business days on July 15, 2025. I followed up on July 24, 2025. The only response I received was that they had received it.

Huge scam. I should have looked into this place a little more before I went there. I made an…read moreappointment/consult with the doctor and told the consultation would be $150 because I would be seeing the doctor. They basically harassed me about paying several days before my appointment. I paid it even though I thought it was strange to pay before the appointment. At the appointment I did not even see the doctor. I asked what I paid for and they said I paid for the skin analysis which they do for free. I said "do yall usually charge for that? " knowing it was free and then receptionist said "well no". The skin analysis was a joke too and So many things pointed to shady business practices. I spoke with Amy the director who never apologized or had any expectation for anything. She did agree to refund my money though since I paid for a service I did not receive. I asked for confirmation of the refund which I still have not received. I've called multiple times and given some strange excuse as to why. Last time I called I was told an email confirmation was sent but could take a while because of their firewall. Never received a refund.
