My wife, my daughter and I have gone here for the last two years. When needed. My wife doesn't like him and neither does my daughter. My personal experience with him has left a horrible taste in my mouth (excuse the pun). I have bad teeth. He made a permanent bridge for my top teeth. For the front bottom 4 he made a denture. I tried for months to get used to it and just could not. I hated it. So, I asked for the same type of permanent bridge on the bottom. It's very embarrassing to not have my front 4 bottom teeth, and my job involves visiting multiple people every day. He told me he could do it and would fight to have it done with the insurance. I had even applied for the credit I would need to get it done. (It was not cheap) Next thing I know it's been denied by insurance. I come to find out after many calls and attempts to appeal that this cowardly lying SOB told the insurance he couldn't recommend it. While still telling me he would fight to get it done. Obviously, we have left the guy and would recommend you go see someone else. I am sure he is fine for cleanings, but so is a dental hygienist. If you need more than that or a fluoride treatment, go to a better skilled and less cowardly dentist. read more

Before I started seeing Dr. Patalia I have always hated going to the dentist, but he is so nice and reassuring and makes sure every appointment goes smoothly. He takes time to get to know you and always remembers what you've talked about 6 months later at the next appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Patalia. read more

This review was a long time ago and I stand corrected. I'm writing again because I wish I had listened to this dentist and got the cavities filled he told me about. I now need a root canal that insurance won't cover in the tooth he told me about. He didn't deserve the review I have him. Some of those issues still stand... but the rest doesn't. I came back to write this because his business doesn't deserve to suffer because I was so horribly wrong. I can't fix the business you may have lost because of my review, but hopefully this can prevent any future tarnish to your reputation because of my words. Moral of the story: if this dentist tells you that you have a slight cavity get it it fixed... do it. You might end up with a hole in your tooth and an infection ...years later that costs loads of $. read more

f I could give this place zero stars i would. I would not send my worst enemy to get work done by Dr. Patalia. I had a root canal done by him that went bad shy of two years old due to poor work. Let me start by saying that I'm currently a third year dental student. Other than the fact that I know some stuff about dentistry, I have no clue about the area as I just recently moved here. I was lucky to find Dr. Patalia's practice last year. Dr. Patalia and his team (shoutout to Adriana!! :]) have been really kind and thorough with my dental treatments. Dr. Patalia have done absolutely wonderful job restoring my teeth (trust me, I know my stuff!). But, my favorite thing is that he is kind enough to spend extra time going over my oral condition. He'd show me his findings and carefully discuss the treatment with me without being pushy. He'd tell me the plan and prognosis of the teeth, but he'd let me make the decision. I have been able to agree with his plans easily so far (again, I have some dental background and I won't agree with the proposed plans if they contradict what I know; you can trust this guy!). Moreover, his assistants would make follow up calls one day after my appointments and make sure everything is okay. It's a simple thing, but it really makes me feel cared. Adriana has been very professional and respectful. Dr. Patalia is so lucky to have her as part of his team. In short, you can expect to get excellent dental care and be treated with respect in this office. read more

I have been going to Dr. Patalia for almost two years now and I've been very happy with his work. This is a doctor who genuinely cares about his patients. I have gotten my teeth cleaned from him and each time he has done an impeccable job. The staff is extremely friendly and diligently follows up on scheduled appointments. Every time I've visited I have been greeted with a smile. The facility is exceptionally clean, something I'm very picky about. The instruments are up to date and I can tell they care a lot about hygiene. Dr. Patalia is also very personable and will take interest in you instead of just getting the job done. I've always felt very comfortable at his clinic and I feel like a family member with the way I've been treated. I would highly recommend Dr. Patalia for any dental needs. I'll be getting my cavities filled soon. I cannot trust anyone else to do it but him. read more

I was worried about some pain and needed a cleaning. I spent a long time researching dentists when I came across Dr. Patalia. He seemed like a safe, well-rounded choice. Good education, experience, reviews. Picture made him seem like a good person. The office itself is great (clean, state of the art, inviting). The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The dental assistant was also friendly and knew what she was doing. Dr. Patalia was very warm and friendly. Not rushed. He did the cleaning himself and was very precise and skilled at doing so. He easily removed some long standing tartar that wasn't taken care of at my last cleaning. He carefully explained what was going on in great detail while patiently and reassuringly answering my questions. Overall it was a great, informative experience. Dr. Patalia and his staff were amazing. I haven't been to a dentist in YEARS, didn't feel it was necessary since I had no issues with my teeth. I decided to make an appointment (because insurance finally covered dental) and I had a wonderful experience at Reflection Dental. X-rays showed a ton of tartar build up that was not visible to the naked eye, but would eventually lead to periodontal disease if not treated. Also, he found 2 small cavities that I was completely unaware of. He took the time to explain exactly what he would like to do, he was very gentle, and seemed to genuinely care. I hate going to the dentist, its cold and uninviting, but For a young business that has not been around very long, they seem to have everything together. The staff were very polite and welcoming. Used to love going to this place, the dentist is great. However, his newer staff is lacking. If you're aware that a customer's dental insurance is showing up as no longer active in your system, why wouldn't you mention that over the phone? Considering that I called two times prior to my appointment, you could have saved me a 60 minute drive. I will sadly have to find a new dentist. read more

I just started going to this dental office. I like the fact that they have late and weekend hours. This works well for me bc that means less time I have to take from work. They take my dental plan. The Dr is nice, and he truly makes it a point to get to know his patients . The office is clean, well organize and the staff is nice and respectful of the patients . I like that they are up to date w their scheduling systems, meaning I receive text messages and the scheduling confirmation allows me to add the appt to my calendar . The one comment I have is, and this may just be me. The name of the business doesn't right tell me they do routine dental services. I used to hate going to the dentist. I have been to at least 5 different places in the past and trust me when I say, they just didn't seem to care and never made me feel comfortable. They discouraged me and made me feel less confident about myself after each visit. When I found Dr Patalia and Relfection Dental, My nerves started to build up all over again. From the FIRST phone call that I received when I submitted the request for a consultation, The receptionist was extremely kind and courteous and made me feel at ease about coming in. When I had my first appointment with Dr. Patalia, I was embarrassed with my oral health and was scared that I would get scolded just as I was in the past. But, this appointment was the complete opposite. Dr Patalia was extremely comforting and expressed empathy which made me comfortable to discuss my oral issues with him. Not only is Dr Patalia giving me 100% of his time, but his staff is as well. Let me start out by saying that going to the dentist is something I have avoided at all costs for many years (because of my fear and anxiety). I am now dealing with the consequences of not taking care of my teeth; I need quite a bit of work done. I recently became a patient of Dr. Patalia's. I first came in to the office feeling very uneasy, to say the least. The staff was wonderful from the start. They did everything that they could to make me feel at home. They were patient and kind, offering their help every step of the way. My experience with Dr. Patalia was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and he took the time to explain everything to me, so that I would know what to expect. He did beautiful work and was very gentle. I am so grateful to have found Reflection Dental and I would encourage anyone who needs a dentist to go and check them out... you will not be disappointed!
