She took an inch off and did not blend hair correctly. I ended up with a terrible hair cut which put me in tears. So, I went to a new salon in Turkey Creek. The stylist corrected the uneven cut and had to take more off the length to blend in the layers. So sad that I did not go there first. Please know that I really wanted Salon Anew to work due to the convenient location, but if you want a professional haircut, please look elsewhere. I had Abigail as my stylist, and she was just a darling. She was so gentle and careful with my hair. She took exactly the length that I wanted off, and did beautiful long layers for me. I loved how she really took her time and listened to what I wanted done. Will definitely miss her when she graduates in June and any salon will be lucky to have her. Know before you go: State Street garage is great to park in and only a few minutes walk from the salon. If you want a weekend appointment, I'd book well in advance. Barbers and hairstylist over the years. Have not been able to accommodate him for one reason or another. Miss Ginger has definitely become my husband's favorite over the last several months since moving to Tennessee. She has always gone as high as requested on his high and tight, which has been a challenge for many other barbers. He has requested that his bangs not be chopped short, but Miss Ginger is the only one that has ever followed through with his request. My husband also prefers a hot towel shave with a straight razor blade and many barbers do not do this and hairstylist are not licensed too. The price is very competitive, and just a little more expensive than your generic, run-of-the- mill haircutting places. However, the prices are much better than any other place that offers a hot towel shave. My husband's haircut stays within military regulations for at least a month, if not longer.
