I met with her 3 times and each time had to explain why I was pursuing DBT therapy. I went through my borderline issues that were exceptionally relevant to DBT. She kept asking me why I was pursuing DBT in each session. Each time I answered saying we talked about x, y, and z. Each time she asked me to reexplain these. She acted like she never heard them before. She was either not interested in me or truly can't remember from week to week. She likewise, told me on 3 occasions that she reached out to my Psychologist and that they "haven't been able to sync up their calendars yet." This was a flat out lie. I discovered this when I spoke directly to my Psychologist and asked her about Trish Beach. My psychologist confirmed that she has never been contacted by Trish Beach. My psychologist was finally sent a consent form after my last session with Trish Beach. Trish still didn't reach out. My psychologist had to reach out to Trish to have a conversation. Stay away from Trish Beach LPC. She can't remember prior discussions, seemed genuinely disinterested in me from the first meeting, and flat out lied to me 3 times. You can do better with just about any other therapist.

She got me to confide with her and gave me steps to help me, but then in a state of crisis I was in....dropped me in a cold and mean manner (told me that she no longer wanted to be my psychologist) I paid out of pocket somewhere close to $15,000 or more dollars seeing her and then she drops me after 3 years. Please know, that the only way to have sessions with her is virtually, which is another hindrance. PLEASE save yourself by not wasting your time with her and find someone who is more skilled and loyal as a psychologist!

While I understand people can become busy, the level of communication I experienced felt unprofessional and dismissive from a prospective intern's perspective. On one occasion, Helen P. briefly answered my call and stated she would respond to my email the following week because then wasn't a good time, but I never received a follow-up. After continued attempts to communicate, I still received little to no response. As someone pursuing clinical training opportunities, I believe professionalism, responsiveness, and clear communication are incredibly important. Unfortunately, this experience did not leave a positive first impression, and based on my experience, I would not recommend Carrollton Springs to prospective interns or practicum students seeking a supportive and communicative placement site.

My calls were ignored, my questions went unanswered, and it took nearly a week to receive a response to a simple email. This is not just poor service--it raises serious concerns about compliance and patient rights. When I showed up in person, the situation got worse. The front desk staff was rude and dismissive. I asked to speak with a therapist or someone in charge and was told to wait. I sat in the lobby for over an hour, only to find out that staff had left while knowing I was there waiting. That level of avoidance is both unprofessional and concerning. During this process, I also spoke with another parent whose child experienced similar "treatment"--which appeared to consist largely of children sitting in a room for hours with little meaningful engagement. That is not acceptable for a facility entrusted with overnight mental health care for minors. At no point did Collin Springs make any effort to: * Communicate clearly * Include me as a parent * Provide reassurance about my child's care Getting basic information felt like pulling teeth the entire time. What's most telling is that after failing to communicate throughout my child's stay, they had no issue reaching out when it came time for billing. This facility showed a lack of transparency, professionalism, and respect for parental rights. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution any parent to think twice before trusting this place with their child's care. Avoid this facility if you have other options.

I brought my son to Frisco Neurofeedback to receive neurofeedback to help his ADHD. I determined…read moreit would be more cost and time efficient to rent the unit and do the sessions at home. Farhin took the time to show us how to use the program, gave us everything we would need to get started, and followed up to see how things were going. My son has been using the device since December and has shown some positive effects. He notices it specifically as it relates to his ability to concentrate while reading. He had been having trouble with tracking lines across a page. He also says he feels "calmer" (a kid of few words!) Since we had the device at home, I was also able to use it (unlimited during the rental!). I went into it with no expectations one way or the other. I really just wanted to use it as a way to force myself to sit still and meditate to get myself in a better spot overall after having experienced a few years of high stress due to a family health situation. What I have observed for myself after two months of very consistent use is that my anxiety is greatly reduced, my brain fog is down, and I feel like my brain isn't being "squeezed" anymore. I am able to concentrate more at work. I very much look forward to the end of the day when I do my sessions - they are quite relaxing. I have already and would again recommend this program to friends!
