Darrel was easy to work with and schedule with. He was always friendly and straight-forward. I chose him over other businesses due to his great reviews, and also he did not hard-upsell me. I had just purchased a Tacoma "as is" from a friend who inherited it, but obviously the owner hadn't cleaned it in a LONG TIME. I heard there was all kinds of fast food wrappers with varying amounts of half-eaten food left in them before I got it. I could hardly get in without gagging from some weird odor (cat/mold/smoke), cat hair, spills, caked on grime, etc, let alone dig around under the seat. When I first got it, we all assumed the steering wheel was black (including the seller), but some vinegar and a towel proved it was tan. I wondered what else appeared black but was really tan.... Darrel came to the rescue! He worked his magic for a reasonable price! My shift knob and the surrounding pieces came out bright tan from a previous dusty-black color and he got the gross stains out of the seats. The steering wheel turned an even brighter tan color. The cupholders were actually tan and no longer have build-up from spills. There are a couple of stains that remain on the carpet, but it's over a decade old and given the starting condition, I'm ecstatic! The smoke smell is gone, and whatever chemicals he used weren't strongly-fragranced, which I appreciate. It's left with basically no smell, and I don't feel like I have to shower after I get in! The level of improvement is amazing. I can show before/after photos but they wont show you the smell difference! I always worry that detailers will damage something unintentionally or be careless because of bad experiences in the past, but I decided to give Darrel a chance because of all his great reviews. I'm glad I did because he was so careful, nothing was damaged. We even had him clean and wash our other car, which has previously been damaged by detailers, and he did a fantastic job and did not cause any further damage.
