I was in the salon yesterday for a haircut. The experience at the salon is always a good one. Everyone is super friendly, The issue that i had was with the cut itself. The stylist was also very friendly and seemed to understand what I was looking for. I even provided a picture. When she made the first cut I realized she did not understand what I was looking for at all. I made peace with the new length of my hair but it wasn't until the first cut of my bangs that my heart sunk. I literally felt sick. My bangs are well above my eyebrows. Straightened. I have naturally curly hair, which I explained to her. I'm not looking forward to my first curly hair day with these new, extremely short bangs. I will not be back. read more

Tania, does great eye waxes, I was wanting her to color my hair, but they want to schedule me a whole month out & only offered me 1 time moving forward past that date, she could had given me a much earlier time read more

I'm kind of a newbie to Reflections. I made my first appointment based on a referral and recommendation. Very glad that I met Elise -great colorist and stylist. According to the website, Reflections Salon & Spa's mission statement proclaims to "create the best salon & spa experience by providing quality services and individualized attention all in a welcoming environment." However, this is well said, and yet not well done. Recently my sister was rudely received on 11/4/22 for her "Diva for a Day" experience. She has endured 6 months of treacherous chemo for stage 3 breast cancer, and continues receiving treatment until she can undergo surgery. Two caring ladies from NJ formed an amazing nonprofit to show kindness to women who are enduring this horrible life altering disease. They work with local salons & spas to offer a unique experience by funding a day of being treated to a all day full spa and salon event, aka Diva for a Day. My sister received a call from the organization that she had been chosen for a spa day, and that all arrangements had been taken care she was to visit Reflections in Bentonville, Ar. She was completely surprised & beyond excited for this special time only to be brought to tears while checking in by the receptionist, Suzanne Thompson, yet, all the while, the owner, Patty Lorton, stood idly by and allowed the receptionist to berate her. To say the least, I was appalled by what she was telling me. BTW my sister's name was in the appointment book, there should have been zero confusion as to the who, what and where of it all. Further, I find it disheartening to know these women could treat anyone(certainly not a breast cancer patient), in such a manner. To know that my sister is still so sick and this happened to her, it is disgusting and unwarranted. It appears that the spa was more concerned on how they'd be paid rather than showing a genuine concern for their customer. My sister called the Diva organization and the receptionist spoke very rudely to Kathy(Diva point of contact), and paid the spa over the phone eventhough they had already paid them on 10/19/22! Yes, you read that right, they had already paid them! My sister was sent treated by technicians who began the manicure, pedicure, massage and facial treatments(the receptionist was still working out the payment over the phone), She stated the technicians were extremely kind to her. However, while getting her manicure, Ms. Thompson approached her again and keeping in true form rudely interrupted her and demanded for the Diva organization's phone number because they now show that the payment was made to cover the day of services in mid October!! And yet still not one apology was made for her and the rude behavior which still lingers on. My sister, being a sweet soul still tipped each technician because she felt they they all did a nice job and again were very kind. One thing certain, the mission of Reflections was not shown by the owner nor the receptionist and anyone in business knows you never get a second chance to make a good first impression. It's sad to know that I nominated her to the Diva for a Day organization out of love. She has gone through so much and still has a long road ahead of her. I thought she'd be welcomed and pampered like I saw on photos posted from other salons; however, she was brought to tears. read more

Catherine is fabulous! I couldn't recommend her more! I was a last minute haircut after someone else cancelled and am so fortunate to have gotten her! This was my first time at the salon. I have a pixie cut and highlights and she did a fabulous job on both! She took the time to make sure I was satisfied as she cut since this was my first time with her. She listened, offered her opinion and was very knowledgeable. She matched my existing highlights PERFECTLY. I would highly recommend her and will come back!! read more

This salon is a great find! I had somebody cancel my hair appointment at the last minute so I called them and they happened to have a Saturday morning appointment available. Autumn was FABULOUS. Super nice, did a fantastic job, and was really lovely to visit with. I have never been one to be super diligent about repeatedly using the same hair dresser but I think that's all about to change. And the pricing was extremely fair as well-- $110 for a haircut and highlights (and I have a TON of hair). Best part was that it didn't take 4 hours like it usually does-- I was in and out in 2. I will absolutely be back and I'm very happy I met the fantastic team at Reflections, especially Autumn. read more

I am not one to do a review but I have to say that Jeff was amazing!! He looked at what I wanted to do to my hair and let me know all the steps that we would have to do to achieve the look and love it. I came in with longish brown hair and I wanted it supper short and gray. I could tell that Jeff was super cautious when cutting my hair but he did a fantastic JOB!! I have already booked my next appointment with him. I love his energy even though he like to pick on his coworkers. Thank you Jeff for my new hair style! I cannot tell you how much I love this place! Jeff has been doing my hair weekly for about a month and a half now, and his skill is top notch. I have bleached, kinky-curly hair that is fragile and frizzy, but when I get out of his chair, my hair is as smooth as silk and board straight. It lasts for a week, as well, through intense workouts and half-hour sessions in the sauna. Most days all I have to do is touch it up in places with a straightener. But even if not, it still looks good. If you need a massage, I recommend Danielle. She uses her ELBOW on my stubborn shoulder knot. All in all, this place is incredible. Clean, friendly and not at all overpriced. Sometimes they can accommodate a walk-in, but best to make an appointment. read more

I am a fairly recent transplant to NWA from Seattle and broke down to get my hair done here. I got a recommendation from a co-worker for another salon, who promotes themselves as the #1 salon. I asked for wheat highlights. I got ash gray. They tried to correct it and dyed my hair brown with white streaks. They tried to correct that and burnt my scalp with bleach, leaving it orange/white on top and dark grey/green brown on the sides. This place is a big city spa wanna-be with talent that clearly has not had enough training. I'll name names specifically, but after I give the manager a chance to review what happened first. Enter Reflections. I called and explained the mess above and asked for a color correction. I came in, Sarah Oliver was my stylist, she explained exactly what they were going to do, the owner helped consult. They fixed what the other salon had destroyed, made a plan to do touch ups and did their best to restore my hair. It felt wonderful when I left, I am very happy and will return. read more

I don't know why i haven't reviewed this before. I have had all my hair services done by Jeff at Reflections for 10+ years. Have never been disappointed. During the Covid, he kept me updated as to when, what, and when it was time to have my appt. They followed the protocol, and still do, for the reopening of the salon. There is, also, a cute boutique connected to the salon. I shop while my hair is processing. Everyone is kind, sociable, and glad to see you. I would recommend Jeff to anyone new to town or anyone wanting to switch. Another thing i really like about Jeff he isn't a salon" hopper. read more

I have been trusting my hair to Patty at Reflections for at least 10 years. I have also taken 5 of my kids there and no matter which stylist they got, they are always happy with the results. The ladies that work here are all beautiful, funny, easy to talk to and they know their shizz when it comes to hair. You can also get your nails, makeup, and brows done at Reflections as well as other spa procedures. But I can't review those because I just go there for my hair. The atmosphere in the salon is bright, sunny and open. It always smells great, too. Everyone I have encountered there has been friendly and helpful. If you make enough money that you wouldn't even consider getting your hair cut in a Wal-Mart store then make an appointment at Reflections. Their prices are still reasonable but these ladies are professionals so don't expect to pay $5 for a haircut here, c'mon! read more

Have not heard anything from this salon. I put a recommendation on their facebook site also. I am going to find another salon. I often hear from owners of businesses, when I write a review. Either, apologizing to me, or thanking me for the compliment. It says a lot about the character of the person running this place. Beyond disappointed in my experience. read more

Made an appointment for my fiancee's hair and makeup for our wedding. luckily it was only a trial run because the results were not even close to what my fiancee wanted. our stylist was very young and obviously not very experienced with makeup. even after showing the stylist some recent photos of my fiancee with the makeup and hair style she wanted, the stylist was unable to create a similar look. it was pretty frustrating. our stylist was nice and kept trying, but she just couldn't deliver the results we hoped for. even after the clearly bad experience they still charged us full price, more than $70. we'll never go back. I recommend Accents instead. read more

I have been going to Patty for upwards of 15 years and can't imagine ever going anywhere but Reflections for highlights, cut and styling. She "gets" me whenever I want to do something different with my hair. All of the staff are very friendly and accommodating...you will always be offered a refreshment during your service. I have had a massage there once and it was great. They are a full service salon and spa. The main reason I first came when we moved here was highlights...a co-worker had beautiful highlights and referred me to Patty. It's not cheap, but the results are well worth it! Worst experience I have ever had. I wanted to add some blonde to my hair, 4 hours later I came out with a brassy orange color. I went back a few days later to try to fix it, and it came out even worse. Again, I spent almost 4 hours the second time, and ended up putting a brown color all over. And now my hair is beyond damaged and looks awful. I could have went to Sally's and saved 8 hours and $100 for a better look and less damage. I will Never go back. They have had good stylist in the past, I'm not sure this one had very much experience with color. read more

I have been to this salon several times and have decided this will be my "go to" salon. The staff is very friendly and make you feel like they appreciate your business. I love the fact that it doesn't take weeks to get an appointment. The boutique is an added bonus. What gal doesn't like to shop! It's a great place to find some unique items. read more
