When I sat down for the manicure and pedicure, I informed the person working on my toes that I tend to get ingrown nails. However, when she started trimming my big toe, she immediately cut too deeply into the side of the nail. It was very painful, and I said "ouch" right away. Her response was simply that she needed to cut my nails. I explained that it hurt and that I normally don't have issues during nail trimming, but she proceeded to do the same on the other toe. She did not apologize and then switched with another person to continue the service. I did appreciate the massage, which was done by someone else. Because of that, I still chose to tip, as I wanted to acknowledge the person who did the massage. When I got home, my big toe was still in pain, and I couldn't even wear closed-toe shoes. Additionally, my fingernails were poorly polished, which was disappointing. Unfortunately, despite the good massage, I would not return or recommend this place. I left with a painful toe injury, and overall, the experience did not meet expectations.

If you're getting the foot massage, make sure you wear bottoms that can be pulled up to your knees, because they also massage your calves. I didn't know this, but they had a pair of shorts I could change into, which was nice! If you are ticklish when getting a pedicure, this experience will be no different. I'm very ticklish during the foot scrubbing part and the scraping tool she used on the bottom of my feet felt good, but ticklish at the same time haha. Overall, it was a nice relaxing massage and my feet felt great afterwards. The street noise isn't that bad honestly, but if you're looking for a completely silent massage where you don't want to hear anyone else, then you'll need to go to a different business.

It only seemed like they were money hungry. When they got started a lady started massaging me first and she just kept playing with my toes and scratching my foot. The person next to me who got the same service I did , the lady he had looked like she was actually doing a better job. Not to mention all the staff were loudly talking amongst each other. The owner or whoever was facilitating the staff, said for an hour it would be a good and same price as the reflexology service we requested. So we agreed. Next thing you know we are paying almost $200 dollars for shitty service. Once they started doing a massage the lady was aggressively hitting my back and pressing down on my spine for more than 15 seconds and I got up with more pain. I would not recommend this place AT ALL! I'm the type of person who gets her nails done and if I don't like I'll deal with it at home and not say a thing but this place messed me up so bad. Do not recommend!!

I got the 70-minute combo massage, which includes both foot and back treatment. This occurs in the shared community space with clothes on. I was the only one there on a Saturday late afternoon, no other customers present during my session, and I'm pretty sure my masseur (possibly the owner) was the only worker on site. He had his phone closeby during the massage, which he checked once when it beeped. But he ignored it the rest of the time. Soft music played in the background, but all of the sounds from the street outside and through the walls could still be heard. I didn't mind, cuz the massage was really good which is what matters most to me. My masseur had a unique method of applying pressure and strength, using mainly elbows and knees on my back. Be aware that the back massage was done over a fairly thick sheet/blanket, but the pressure was deep enough to be effective. He was thorough, especially on my legs and feet. Targeted my hamstrings, shins, and outer muscles of the legs which is where I needed it most. The fast rubbing made me a bit numb, but when he slowed down, I was on cloud nine. And he applied pressure to all the right parts of each foot, too. None of it was painful. It didn't feel rushed either, so this place gives a true "foot massage". The guy was friendly, and prefers cash payments, but I only had enough cash for a tip. I was able pay with a credit card for the massage itself, with an additional $2 fee for the charge.

While I…read morewas in town, it was a little difficult to find a place nearby that only did foot massages, but Toe-Asis came up when I was searching. The prices were very affordable so I called to make a reservation the day before coming and was able to get one at the time I asked for. The receptionist was very friendly and greeted as soon as I walked in. I selected the 60 minute massage therapy combo, which consisted of a 10 minute foot bath and 50 minute foot massage. Once I stepped in, I was greeted immediately by the receptionist. The front room was full of people getting pedicures. My masseur came and took me to a room at the back, where they directed me to sit in a chair with my feet propped. The massage started with a hot foot bath, and I was given an eye mask. After about 10 minutes of the foot bath, my masseur took my foot out of the bath, dried them and then proceeded to give me a foot massage that consisted of long rubbing motions and some kneading. I think there were areas where the pressure felt too hard and areas where it felt too soft. Overall, I think this is a great place to get a pedicure or foot massage considering the value, but it seems like from reviews, the experience can be hit or miss depending on who you get.
