Smart doctors and staff, efficient and helpful. Good selection in glasses too but, multiple eye doctors in one area.

If you have an appointment here, pack a lunch and it might be a good idea to pack your toothbrush, too, because you will spend hours and hours waiting to see a doctor. When you actually do see one, they will only spend a few quick minutes with you, because they are so rushed and obviously overscheduled. This is not your typical doctor's office---more like an ER or the DMV. Wish I could give zero stars. read more

This place SUCKS. Every time my wife has an appointment, we wind up sitting in the waiting room for at least an hour after her scheduled appointment time. Even if you get the 1st appointment of the day. For some reason the staff here apparently thinks that people have nothing better to do with their time. Took my father in law for cataract before and for surgery and after they were all wonderful

let me start by saying that Dr. Wandel is a good doctor and has a great bedside manner. Here's the problem- this office needs to get on the ball with the ridiculous waiting time to be seen. It's a pattern - plan on canceling any other plans you may have had , 2 hour minimum wait the last few times- sorry to say we may have to move on. they told us they were aware- really? long standing problem- fix it! read more

My son (who is in his twentys) had an appointment with Dr. White. She was 2 hours late to see him and was super rude and dissmissive of his issue. She spoke down to him and kept cutting him off when he tried to speak. Also, she kept the door open so the packed waiting room could hear every word. He was fighting back tears when he called me at work because he was that embarassed and upset!!! The rest of the staff was wonderful. SHE WAS AWFUL. I hope someone in management sees this review and reprimands her for her awful behavior!! read more

I had a medical Emergency and had to be seen by a Retina Specialist. My Doctor was in surgery , which I understood. Angela did not show any empathy or compassion she just repeated the next available appointment. I had to ask to see another Retina specialist and was offered an ophthalmologist who was unable to treat me. Eventually at my request, Angela transferred me to Kim who answered the phone with a tone and offered me the same doctor who could not treat me. I was quite distraught that with all the locations in this state they wouldn't do anything to help me. I have been a client here for 2 years. Since this was a medical emergency, I googled retina specialists and the first one I called was a group of eye specialists who took me IMMEDIATELY and treated me within the hour. Since Refocus took over the support staff seem miserable and clearly this is an example of how disengaged they are. I won't be back. read more

Waited over 2 hours with my daughter who has epilepsy ( which I clearly explained in the paperwork) for her to have a stye drained. We were referred by My Eye Doctor (another horrible group). Only one pediatric ophthalmologist in the group. When she came in the room she explained that they wouldn't be draining the stye at this appointment. So I took a day off of work, waited over 2 hours for nothing. Our regular eye doctor did all of the preliminary work before this appointment, so there was NO need to sit for a consult. When I made the appointment I was under the impression it would be drained then and there. Doctor had a huge attitude with me when I expressed how upset I was that I took a day off of work and waited for over 2 hours. AVOID THIS GROUP and Dr. Bendictus. read more

Had 2 holes in my Retina and had laser surgery to repair it (7/25/22)by Dr. Angela Bosjolie and had an awesome experience. Her and her assistance showed nothing but compassion and empathy. The entire staff was great. Thanks for everything. read more

Cataract surgery yesterday with Dr. Wandel and team was seamless and operated like a well oiled machine. Staff kept me updated every step of the way enhancing my confidence in the procedure. Did I want this surgery? Who does? But trusted the advice of the ophthalmology professionals and so glad I did. read more

If you have time to waste--this place is for you! Had a 2:30 appointment and didn't get seen til 4:30! Yes, that's right--a two-hour wait!!! Only stayed because it was my mother's "appointment", not mine. As soon as we registered and were told to take a seat in the waiting room, another man entered for the SAME time with the SAME doctor. The receptionist actually asked if he wanted to reschedule. He said, "No. I have an appointment and took time off work." Around 4:00, another man comes into the standing-room-only waiting room and was told of the two-hour wait and that he'd have to reschedule! He said, "NO. I JUST DROVE HERE FROM DANBURY!" Not sure what happened to him because we were finally called into the exam room to wait 1/2 more. I was very upset and told the doctor why AND everything that was going on in the waiting room. The doctor herself told me that they were triple booked and she didn't have "a scribe" so she was on her own. I told the doctor that that's a terrible way to treat patients and that we would NOT ever be coming back. As long as you don't mind an interminable wait, own an unread copy of War and Peace, and don't mind packing a lunch, I'm sure your experience will be quite different from mine. As for me, I will be finding my mother another doctor. read more

I was seen today for an emergency appointment as a new patient, with double pink eye. I was referred here by my regular eye doctor, who felt I needed a specialist, since this has been a persistent problem now for several weeks. I waited for almost an hour and a half before I was seen, the doctor spoke over me the entire time while I was trying to give the history of my current problem, then proceeded to examine my eyes with no gloves on, which is just gross. On top of that, I was not able to get the prescription filled that I needed today, because their office staff neglected to call my insurance company for an authorization, even after I spent two additional hours calling their office, trying to get through to their prescription line. This is one of the worst experiences I've ever had with medical care, and I will not be returning for a follow up appointment. I absolutely do not recommend using this office, for any reason. read more
