Dr. Sanchez (the chiropractor), Brandon (the physical therapist), and the staff at Reform Chiropractic are awesome at what they do and definitely know their stuff. This is one of the few chiropractic offices that combine therapeutic sports massage, physical therapy, and chiropractic adjustments all in one office. My treatments at each visits generally consist of three sessions back to back: massage first, physical therapy, then chiropractic adjustments. On your first visit, Dr. Sanchez will do a thorough initial consultation to determine what your issues are. In my case, I had a lot of scar tissue from previous surgeries and tight muscles that were affecting my natural body movement. The massage therapy that can include Graston techniques helped break down my scar tissue and loosen my tight muscles. After the licensed massage therapists broke down and loosened up my muscles, Dr. Sanchez was able to fully adjust my spine. Initially, my thoracic spine wouldn't move, but after two massage sessions, he was able to "pop" my thoracic and I felt a tremendous release of pressure on my back. In regards to the PT, Brandon gives you one-on-one time and he goes through a bio-mechanical approach in examining your issues. He then provides a well thought out treatment and exercise plan to help you get better. Throughout the process, he explains very thoroughly of what is going on and why he wants you to do certain movements. All my employees also go to Reform Chiropractic. What a great experience! I came here for chronic back pain from an old injury and to get ready for the upcoming ski season (where I usually reinjure). They set me up with a program of physical therapy, massage, and alignments which I have been doing since February. My ski trip in March was so much better because of their work (2 day recovery instead of usual 3 weeks). The place is very clean and everyone is very dedicated and knowledgable. Came here because of all the great reviews but had a bad experience 3 sessions in. The towel "ringer dinger" technique they use hurt my lower back, causing a tear in my muscle. I mentioned the pain and was told to keep working out and stretching, causing it to worsen. I ended up going to my general doctor who quickly told me it was a pulled muscle and suggested I rest it instead. My neck stiffened and I got bad sharp pains. I'm finally starting to feel better but I wish I hadn't spent my $900 here. The staff and people here are really nice but doesn't make up for experience. I only saw Dr. Sanchez when he did the consultation. After that he never checked in on me and around the time I got injured he left on vacation for like 2 weeks. Only thing I suggest is the massages here, they are very helpful even though a bit painful at first. read more
