I had a piercing, throbbing headache that increased over a 2 wk period. Felt like I got hit in my skull with a cast iron skillet, I couldn't sit- much less stand or drive. Went to 2 ER's in 3 days, had IV's of migraine cocktails & other medications, muscle relaxers, prescription sent home, a CT scan & ultrasound. NOTHING helped. Out of desperation for pain relief, I came across Reform Chiropractic, read their reviews & decided to call. I explained how much pain I was in & they took me in I believe that same day for a medical massage. The front office staff immediately greets everyone with a smile & genuine kindness. Their phone etiquette was great, they were patient, kind & helpful when I first called. They are all so helpful & sweet... great first impression as you walk in. The massage therapists (I've had two different ones to date) were so professional, respectful & so caring - as they kept asking how I was doing throughout the session, making sure I was ok. They diligently worked on those areas of tension on my head, neck & back to help relieve my pain. They knew what they were doing & the massages have definitely helped reduce my pain. And let's not forget Dr. Hernandez, who is professional, yet comforting and reassuring at the same time. He doesn't see you as another client to rush out the door and on to the next. You immediately feel like he really cares to help fix whatever issue you have. Initially, he went over all my records from the ER's, took his time thoroughly explaining the anatomy of my neck & the muscles there that were likely causing my headaches, discussed a treatment plan, and was so attentive & genuinely caring to help me get pain relief. He kindly answered any/all questions I had & made sure I was taken care of. A primary doctor visit & 3 ER visits in less than a week couldn't give me a proper explanation for the cause of my headaches, much less pain relief, but Dr. Hernandez did in the 1st visit. I've been here for several sessions already & Dr. Hernandez's demeanor, along with his staff's, is consistent and genuine. Best office of any medical office I've been to, and I've been to many. I highly recommend if you suffer from back or neck pain. I hurt my back recently and was looking for a Chiropractor who did X-rays. I went to Reform because they had great reviews and were offering a new patient special that included X-rays if deemed necessary. I am so glad I came here. Got my X-rays and verified my injury was nothing too serious, and After one session of medical massage and adjustment my back pain improved significantly. Everyone here is very nice, and it was easy to schedule my appointment. They are extremely knowledgeable and professional and have a variety of treatments and tools they will utilize depending on your specific issue. I have now gone back for a second session and plan to do a few more just for maintenance. I even let the Dr adjust my neck, which as a Nurse I have always been highly skeptical about anyone messing with my neck. But Dr Hernandez is AMAZING! Thanks Dr. Hernandez and team for a great first visit today! I had a bad fall last week and felt a lot of pain in my mid back/neck and knew I probably needed to see a chiropractor. When it comes to my back/neck I like to keep my options open. Found Reform on a yelp search and noticed they had a great new patient offer and decided to schedule an appointment. From start to finish everyone was super nice and friendly. Dr. Hernandez definitely knows his stuff. He explained my X-rays to me, pointed out different areas of my spine and possible underlying issues, and definitely gave me a better understanding of my back and neck problems. He told me his thoughts and I felt totally comfortable with what he wanted to implement for this particular visit. We decided not to do an adjustment this time around because of the severity of calcification in certain areas of my neck so I received an amazing deep tissue massage and sat in the cryo chair right after. I've never experienced a cryo chair and let me tell you it was fantastic. I felt a little pain after the massage due to the intensity of the pressure (which I loved) but having sat in the cryo chair afterwards made a world of difference, I literally felt no pain. My sciatic nerve has been a nagging problem on and off for years. This last flare up has been going on a month. I had about 2 or 3 adjustments with my normal chiropractor but it didn't work this time. I also had a couple of acupuncture visits that always got me right but that didn't work either. While starting to think it may be time for surgery, I was referred to Reform and it didn't disappoint. It should take me a few more visits to be completely pain free but I can say that I walked away feeling 80% better.
