Customers are left waiting outside the store, mid-day, because no employee was present. Employees must eat their lunch. Absolutely. but the store opens at 11 AM, & it was around 12:30.... ???? (They left a sign that says they'd be back in 30 minutes.) & my other thought was that - at the price point of each single item from Reformation, I believe the business can afford at least two employees on site at a time. After about an entire hour, two girls showed up with leftover food in their hands. I was there, & I waited because I needed something specific to wear. & I don't mind waiting at all for an employee to come back from lunch. There were other women waiting outside as well. This case was unique. There were two employees, who took a break simultaneously because they'd rather the clients wait. & when they came back, they did not let customers in immediately. It was hot outside. Not terrible, but waiting an hour out there was not fun. One other customer was not as patient. She had exploded over the phone with maybe customer service (or her friend) regarding the same experience. I was confused when the employees entered without paying any mind to the people who had been waiting. Sure, it only took them a few more minutes to reopen the business. but what? Never mind the people who had been waiting. Bottom line is, I would never return to this store. It was a shit experience. Not everyone is here out of a desire for luxury, but this was pretty low on any customer service I had ever experienced. There was not a single considerate thought for the customers. I appreciate a brand like Reformation for its sustainability efforts & a price point that isn't too far out of reach for some people. And a brand of this magnitude simply cannot endorse this behavior. read more

I want to say that I love this company & their products. This location is really small and the selection is limited. The girls that work here are not friendly or attentive. I waited for my fitting room for quite a while meanwhile they only focused on one customer. Another customer came in and straight away they were attentive to that person so I ended up leaving. Rather shop online if that's how it's gonna be. read more

I spend a fair amount of money at Reformation, I'm part of their FWB that's how much business I give this company. I came in, no greeting, was waiting by fitting room to try some items on, I had to go approach the associate who had a very flat look as if me asking to try something on was a bother. While waiting for my room I was so turned off I left and took my business down the way at another retailer. read more

Came in yesterday to look at shoes. I felt super uncomfortable. No one greeted me, yet the two sales folks just stared. No emotion than would look away. I didn't expect a hole lot of personality, but at the same time felt super unwelcome. A male came in afterwards to which a "welcome in" greeting was stated. Beautiful dresses but terrible service. I called in to have two sizes of a dress on hold to try them on before buying. When I arrived, I had to wait at least 20 minutes before trying the clothes on. There were rooms open, but I was told they were reserved for people who weren't there yet. Thankfully, after saying that I was in a time crunch and that I'd try on the clothes very quickly, the clerk let me use the vacant dressing room. I don't know if my vibe gave off bad PR, but it really didn't seem like they wanted me shopping there, and waiting for me to get fed up and leave the store. Honestly, if I'm spending over $300 on a single piece of clothing, it would be nice if I weren't being treated like a person at the ice cream store just trying to get free samples. :( I'm here to do business not waste time, please don't waste mine. read more

I enjoy Reformation as a brand and often purchase Reformation dresses for special occasions. The two star review is a reflection of this specific store location. - The selection offered here is extremely minimal. A majority of the pieces offered online are not in stock at this store. This is frustrating as you will have to purchase things online and hope they fit you correctly / deal with returning. - The staff here are inattentive. Not very helpful and stand around aloof in the back. - If the store wifi is down, they have to shut down the entire store because everything is operated based on wifi (selecting pieces to add to your dressing room and purchasing anything as cash is not accepted). read more

Terrible quality! Terrible!! Bought a dress in this store hoping to wear it for a friend's wedding, after carefully cleaned it, it shrunk ridiculously. The customer care team said nothing helpful except for blaming me, and their emails feel like generated by a robot. I have a couple of fragile viscose/silk dress and shirts, and this is the ONLY one that shrinks like crazy. Almost all women's garments state "dry clean" on the wash tag, BUT this is the only piece that if you don't you'll 100% ruin it. SO, GIRLS, I KNOW THE SALES LADY IN STORE WILL NEVER REMIND YOU, BUT KEEP IN MIND, REFORMATION DRESSES ARE EXTREMELY FRAGILE AND COULDN'T STAND A SINGLE COLD WATER GENTLE HAND-WASH. This is a retail store that not only has bad return & exchange policy but also produces low-quality garments. I just want to give a special shout out to Anna and Alexa for their amazing customer service this week. I placed a big order online and called the store for their advice about denim. Alexa was amazing and so knowledgable and walked me through the different styles and fits of the jeans I was interested in. I've never tried on Ref jeans so it was incredibly helpful. I made the right purchase because of her expertise! Then today, Anna went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me with a customer service issue involving a promo code. I was really frustrated with my interaction with the remote Customer Love team. They're only responding via text at the moment and unfortunately, I had a really bad experience communicating back and forth with them via the text system. Every time I received a response it was from a new representative, even if I quickly replied. Their answers were generic and unhelpful and then they'd disappear and not respond for hours and the items in my cart sold out while I waited. Then they had no record of my text history. Just a weird system that needs updating. I finally picked up my phone and called the Culver City location so I could talk to a human and Alexa was so helpful before. Anna was SO patient, knowledgable and understanding. She solved the promo code issue, no problem. She also helped me choose the right designs and sizes for the items I was purchasing. I'm so happy with my experience with these gals! I felt like they really cared about me as a customer. I've been shopping at Ref for a long time and they not only made my day with their kindness, but they really restored how I felt about the brand integrity overall. This is one of my favorite stores, however I've only ever purchased items online. Came here to make a return on a dress that was too big and the workers were so welcoming and attentive from first coming in! I originally had been worried to come to one of the Los Angeles store locations after reading the bad reviews but the employees at the Culver City location are super helpful and very friendly-my return went smoothly and they were always making sure I got help/had any questions or concerns answered. Their technology in the store to set up fitting rooms and touch screens in the fitting rooms as well make it very efficient to know what's in stock and be helped easily. I absolutely love Reformation, but the shops failed to deliver what I was after. It seems like selection varies from store to store and while I get you can't stock everything, I was surprised to find that many of the items are only carried online. I did enjoy the personal attention from the sales associate and they did have a cool method of selecting your items via a touch screen tv that is then reserved in your room. Other than that, it falls short for me. Save a trip and hassel and just buy the item(s) online. read more

I had a great experience here. I can in on a Saturday and the store was full of people but I was able to access the touch screens and see if my dress was available. I made a return that I purchased online and the associate was very helpful and cordial. You immediately see things you want to try on upon walking in. It's my new favorite store. Great boutique store in Platform area. Welcomed as soon as we walked in and noticed that someone always greeted the person walking in as soon as they stepped foot in the store. You choose what you want on a screen and the items are pulled and placed in a fitting room for you. No need to carry things around. If you need something different or want other items, you can choose it from a touch screen computer in the dressing room. Very helpful staff. They definitely know their products. Can change lighting in the room. Fantastic shopping experience, but clothes are pricey. read more
