The Beverly Hills Bikini Shop is a Beverly Hills classic. It's been in business for over 50 years. Don't panic if you go to their old address and see the shop with the black awning empty. For years they've been at the same location but in January they moved one block north on the same street. They are located on the south west corner of Beverly Drive and Charleville. They are still in town. This shop is great for finding a bathing suit. They have a huge variety. The store associates are always friendly and welcoming. Besides bathing suits they have other beach themed items like hats, sandals, and pullovers. Definitely a fun place to check out. Metered parking on the street and parking lot nearby. read more

They sell you the wrong size, and then they won't return it. Beware they don't return or exchange bathing suits! The selection is nice, but I would not deal with this bathing suit shop. I had a very negative experience with an older woman who I assume was the owner of the store. While shopping, she was not in the store, and the sales associates were incredibly kind and helpful. When attempting to leave, my car was blocked into a parking spot behind the store. After waiting for twenty minutes, I stopped back into the store and asked the kind associate if she knew whose car was parked there. Despite there being no signs indicating that I couldn't park in the lot, and in fact signs which read "bikini shop parking," the older woman proceeded to scold me for asking them who may have parked there and told me I would (and should) be towed. This interaction was inappropriate given that I had just bought an expensive bathing suit in the store, did not know that I couldn't park there, and asked the associate who I had shopped with, not the owner. read more

Beverly Hills Bikini Shop on South Beverly Drive is a landmark, has been at this location since 1966. It's a small shop that has a great selection of bikinis: colorful, stylish one piece and two pieces mix and match...which I prefer, to get the right fit and look fabulous and sizzling haute hot hot! They have coverlets, sandals, hats, tanning lotion and other cute accessories. I've shopped here on many occasions, and especially like that it's smaller and I have easy access to the shop after parking out front. The various ladies that have helped me have all been nice friendly and super helpful. I popped into here last week to pickup swimwear for my upcoming trip to Hawaii. The store is located in the heart of Beverly Hills, south of Wilshire. It's a nice store with well organized swimwear - all the one pieces are in a room together, all the coordinated swimwear are in areas together, cover ups are coordinated, etc. They have everything you might need to get ready for your fun in the sun. The sales staff here are very helpful. If you give them an idea of what you are looking for, they can help you pick out what might work, help with sizing, find you cover ups, etc. I would definitely come here for a visit, they have a great selection and you can't beat the service. The best swim suit shopping experience ever! For me, I cannot order a swim suit online and have a perfect fit. The Beverly Hills Bikini Shop is the answer to finding that perfect suit! First of all, the styles are delightful, sleek and stylish. The colors are vibrant and the feel and texture of all the suits is very high end and feels good against your skin. The price is very appropriate, around the price of Diane's and some of the sale suits are a real steal and totally cute. I actually just bought myfavorite suit I have ever purchased last week and I am using it on vacation right now! And it was on sale! The part of the experience that makes BHBS the absolute best is the service. No worries about COVID. The owner, Patricia, takes all of the precautions and she even has tissues that you may use to try on the suit even with the bikini plastic liners. All employees wear protective wear, and we made an appointment so that we had the entire boutique shop to ourselves. Patricia is the best at picking out what looks good on you and she also in not pushy at all, so if you don't like a certain look or style, no worries. Also the styles are for all ages. I actually bought 6 pieces, but Patricia showed me how I could mix and match and have even a greater number of looks. And every suit made me feel like a million dollars, seriously! I have been to the beverly hills bikini shop twice in my life, the first time was a few years ago (pre-covid) and I had a lovely experience. I had worked in the area and was doing some window shopping, the woman was friendly and helpful. I did not buy anything at that time but I always drove by and loved the suits they had in the window. I am not a big fan of shopping in beverly hills, when I do go into the shops I always feel like I have to dress up to be respected or given good service especially at places like saks fifth avenue or neimans. Because I am young and hispanic, I do not have the privilege of walking into a store on rodeo in street wear or yoga pants because im instantly treated differently. On December 30th or 31st, on a rainy day, I was leaving for Cancun in just a few hours and I needed some swimsuit options. I recalled the pleasant experience I had here before and came back. Unfortunately, my experience was not as pleasant this time around. I was dressed in a bright pink sweat suit due to the weather. They had a rope on the entrance and you had to be allowed in by the employee. The girl looked over as she was helping a customer but she did not immediately let me in. So I waited patiently. She finally let me in and I noticed a few sale bins on the left hand side. She said hello after letting me in and then returned to help her client. The whole time she kept looking over at me, watching me as if I were going to steal something. The entire experience made so uncomfortable and just proved my previous point about shopping in Beverly Hills. I have worked in retail in the past and I understand that it is not easy to look after a store on your own. However, I also know that a great way to prevent theft is to engage every client who is walking in and it also helps to treat everyone with respect. She finally began engaging with me but I could tell the whole time that she did not really view me as a serious client. I found two swimsuits i liked and had a room started, it was not until then that I started to get decent service. I told her i was leaving for Cancun and i had spent the entire morning looking for swimsuits and this place was my last hope. I spent over $300, part of me almost did not want to buy anything but the other part of me wanted to also prove a point that you should never judge a book by its cover. To give you some background about me personally, I used to manage the bank up the street before leaving to pursue my MBA at a top 10 university. I am not a criminal or a thief but damn this place sure made me feel like one. I hope the owner reads this and pulls up the cameras so they could see what I experienced, hopefully it can be used as training material to enhance their CE. read more

I went to this store to look for a new bikini for my vacation next week. Unfortunately, I was welcomed in by an unpleasant red head employee. I looked through their selection of bikinis and asked the same employee for a size small in one of the bikinis hanging on the wall. She proceeded to hand me a medium and when I mentioned that she did this, she said "this would fit me better." The bikini did not fit me better but was instead a much larger fit than I originally wanted. Don't know how she thought she had the right to tell me what size would fit my body, considering it's MY BODY. Along with this, she kept insisting on me to leave my changing room so she can see the bikinis on me. This made me very uncomfortable considering the changing rooms are located right in front of a large window that strangers on the street can peer through. I declined her comment of coming out of the dressing room and her tone changed to be little more passive aggressive. I ended up not purchasing a bikini due to the employee's attitude and unprofessionalism. DON'T GO HERE! read more

There is metered parking and sometimes it takes a little bit of driving around to find a spot but it's worth going. The store had loud rap music, which didnt make the shopping experience pleasant. The store was dirty and very disorganized. I couldn't find anything and had to keep asking for help! The girls working there seemed to be in high school, and only cared about being on their phone. Selection is slim, and everything fits a perfect body. you can find way more across the street at Everything but Water. I have been coming to this bikini shop since March and I am SO thankful I found it! They have amazing brands such as, L Space, Vitamin A, Vix, Frankie's Bikinis, Luli Fama, Karla Colletto, and much, much more. The girls that work there are helpful and will always call me when new items come in. Their Instagram is always up to date and are constantly posting the latest items they get it, it makes me want to go in there every week because they post the cutest things. Their return policy is on a sign at check out and very visible for customers. Being a small business I can understand they don't do cash back, but very flexible with exchanges following their policy. I swear this store has racist employees. I've lived in Beverly Hills for 2yrs and now in Westwood and gone into this store at the VERY least 10 times and every single time, I get this glare of hatred from the sales lady and I think also the owner. I just walked in and thought- if it happens again, I'm writing a review and of course, the lady looked me up and down, and rolled her eyes while saying hello. I must commend the boutique owner. Not only that the store is so well curated, but the customer service is outstanding. Last winter, I saw linen pants in the window , but they didn't have my size. I left my number, and they didn't forget, but they called me few months after to see if I still wanted them. I love the quality - pants are fully lined with sheer cotton, so comfy. Recently, I liked one cover up, but this time they didn't have it in black. The owner told me the brand and I was able to purchase it online for my vacation. I've been frequenting this fun little shop on and off for years. The owner is kind and engaging, the selection of suits is vast and adorable, and just being in there feels a lot like a day at the beach. I don't love the prices, but most of the suits are high-quality and made to last. There's a revolving sale rack that occasionally offers some winners, too. I knocked off a star because when I got home with my schmancy new bikini, I realized all of the tags had been hacked off at the register. I had no intention of returning or exchanging it (as per store policy), but I still feel that once an item is paid in full and all mine, the manufacturer's tags are mine too. I know it's a little thing, but it bothered me that it was done without forewarning -- and indicates a lack of trust in the customer complying with store policy. Felt like my new suit was no longer new. (What if I'd decided to gift it to my doppelganger friend, for example?) Still, I have good associations with the place and would give it another chance.
