I went there because to have my fabric seats cleaned. As I was leaving I noticed a cut in the front passenger seat that also looked like a burn mark. I was told the Mgr was not in yesterday but he would "review the camera footage" from the time I left my car with them and he will get back to me today. I told the ppl if they find a tear on the camera before they cleaned it I'll give them $100. He never called Me back. I went there today and the Mgr said THEY DONT HAVE CAMERAS TAKING PICS OF THE INSIDE so he has to take his "car wash technician's" word that the rip was already there. NO WAY. I TAKE PERFECT CARE OF MY CAR AND I WOULD HAVE NOTICED THAT EVERYTIME I GOT IN MY CAR. They ruined the seat. After I told the Mgr I was going to post a bad review he said "go on you stupid Jew....I don't give a F***". That's an exact quote. So I sat in my car to call my wife and he started taking pics of my car and license plate and when he got close he said get your Jewish ass off this property. Guys this was my favorite car wash under the previous ownership. Talk about a fall from grace. The place looks run down, super sticky floors, dimly lit and no water cannon. The review that mentioned the items for sale must have had a different experience than me, it's stuff you would expect to get at a Chucky cheese with reward tickets. I asked for the fast car wash, the guy said it was 10 to 15 minutes, it was 15 minutes before it entered the car wash and I was next in line. The car wash itself left a lot to be desired, left soap all over the car. They up charged for wheels, kind of did the outside of the rims. In and out in just under 30 minutes, hey it takes a while to get soap to dry. Message to management, this place was wall to wall people two years ago, don't fall into the trap of believing the drop of is related to Covid. The upside is it's fixable, high end car wash needs to be, high end. read more

The previous management (Cactus) always did a fantastic job on our car. The new management has been doing a below average service. I opted for the basic car wash. The seats, windows, floor mats were not cleaned properly. When I inspected and told them, the lady would roll her eyes and do it. I gave them a second chance and it was still the same. I wish I could give them NEGATIVE Stars. This used to be "Cactus Car Wash", and now apparently has changed hands...for the worse. #1 - The automatic brushes are broken...evident as you walk through the building towards the cash register. So before the car goes into the tunnel, they have a guy who quickly uses a house mop to throw some soap on the roof and trunk. #2 - As the car passes by the inoperative brushes, and rolls down the track, there is no action from any of the brushes, rollers, ...etc. Everything is "dead" inside, and broken and old looking. #3 - There is not enough rinse water used.... soap still all over the car as it pulled into the "toweling-off by a human" stage of things. Soap clouds paint. It is not cleaned, and the the dirt on the car is literally being ground into the paint surface and scratched by the human with a rag on the outside at the end of the tunnel. This is not a proper car wash anymore. It is a rip-off, a deception, fraud, and Milton deserves better. I am a former detailer and was the previous owner of Euro-Care, which did the luxury detailing for 4 major dealerships in Atlanta, and when the dealership's had a "problem" their body shop guys couldn't handle, they called me. So I know my stuff. Also, my brother owns a self-serve wash in an upscale community in SC, and he shuts it down when it's broken. These owner's aren't. What this new owner is doing is deceitful to the former patrons of this wash, and most importantly, is ruining the paint jobs of some VERY expensive cars. .....automatic Car washes like this are abuse to any paint job...I hope people know that....but the way these new owners are doing it is....horrible. read more

This car wash location recently changed ownership from Cactus Car Wash to Refresh, and the service has completely changed for the worse. The full service wash has gone up in price, and the wash itself was okay. But what I took issue with was the rude employee at the end taking my claim ticket and saying to me "I'm gonna go let them know they didn't get a tip". Not sure when tipping for a car wash became an expectation, but regardless, there was no tip option during the credit card transaction, and in this digital age, people rarely carry cash anymore. Needless to say, a comment like that should never be said to a paying customer. He didn't even bother to thank me for my business or check to see if the car was washed properly (something they used to check in the past). I should probably note that air freshener was not offered at the end like it was in the past, and neither was the water bottle Cactus used to give (I can live without that), but it was a nice touch. read more

Friendly but did a terrible job on my car detail. I purchased the deluxe wash and they didn't even wipe the dash or vacuum the crumbs out of the cup holders. When I asked asked a manager about, he said I would need to purchase an upgrade. Would not recommend you take your car here. read more

This place definitely isn't as good as what Cactus Car Wash was. I allowed myself to be up sold to the ultimate package primarily because it mentioned cleaning door jambs. When I asked the service tech to just do a simple wipe down of the door jams he neglected he complained that I had to pay for a full detail to get that. Unfortunately that's not what I was told when I ordered the ultimate car wash. The interior cleaning was pretty good and well vacuumed. read more

CLOSED without any notice. Stopped by today and the entrance is blocked off with a "closed for remodeling" sign that says California Hand Wash. I'm on their email list and never got a heads up. Not sure if they're changing ownership or not but I wonder about my unused gift card. Nothing found on their website or social media. Hopefully they will turn things around, recent experiences here have not been good. read more

1 star is too much. I took my 120k trx here and paid for a hand wash. It's polished and ceramic coated by another business. The guy swirled up my paint by what I can only describe as a broom/brush with hard bristles. On top of that if they couldn't reach s spot they didn't clean it. The inside smelt like toilet water and they didnt vacuum. The manager seemed to think it was ok. Don't take your business here. It's so bad. read more

I took my car for handwashing. Small and 4 months new. They charged $60 and they missed so many spots. They area they got right were the wheels. I would try a different carwash if you are looking for quality handwash. Otherwise it is your typical car wash. read more

I thought I was going to the Cactus Car wash that I have been to countless times. When I pulled up, the employee there looked at my car and said "we charge based on how dirty your car is, and yours will be $370." Excuse me? The sign in front of me said the high quality, detailed wash was $65. When I pointed it out he said "I don't know why people think we have to go by the prices on the sign." When I told him I had never paid more than $75 at Cactus he told me he had been there since 2010 and there's no way I paid that low. I can guarantee you I did. I had to awkwardly back out of the drive, and proceeded up the street where my car was fully washed and detailed elsewhere for $45. read more

Used to love this car wash when we moved here years ago. It has continued to go farther and farther down hill. Just got my car washed and they got me to upgrade to a $35 car wash (they even talked me into a gift card for a discount) Well when my car was done, I cannot begin to say how disappointed I was. There had been a spot of ketchup on my weather tech mat before, and low and behold it was still sitting there when it was done. When I pointed that out to the supervisor, he told me 'well your car was very dirty'. Well for one I'm at a 'car wash'!! To get my car cleaned for $35 for the the DELUXE wash. Door jambs were still dusty, back end not vacuumed, seats had marks on them and folks my car was not that dirty! yes I have 2 dogs but as you can see I'm not complaining about the dog hair. Start cleaning cars at your car wash or watch as business goes down even more. read more

I took my new Mercedes for its first wash and was horrified. Equipment was broken that day, instead of turning me around they put my vehicle through. They wiped the dirt off of it after it had come through. My vehicle is black, I wound up with tons of hairline scratches. Avoid! read more

I really despise this place. Every time I try to go they are closed. 45 minutes before they close at 5 and they're already closed? That's a terrible way to run your business. Refresh Car Wash (old Cactus Car Wash) is extremely careless & dishonest. They ripped the seat of my BMW X7 & refused to take responsibility for getting it fixed. The total bill was over $700. When this first happened the manager said that they would pay, but then denied the whole thing when seeing the bill. He said just take it to small claims court. read more
