This used to be a decent car wash but folks using the self service options BEWARE ! If you choose the Basic (self service) wash you will be surprised when you go through the wash, they have turned off the Soap dispensing and other functions including blower to dry the car. On questioning the person in charge / Manager he stated that this is what a $10 was is. Obviously their way of compelling customers to go to the next level wash whether your car needs it or not. Extremely rude person and not even a hint of guilt or apology. Plenty of choices around here so I will move on. Have to say that their cleaning towel, liquid cleaner / glass cleaner are always well stocked even if one rarely finds dry towels ! Needed to get my car wash and spotted this one in the area so decided to give this a try! It's located in front of the Wal-Mart and has different options based on the cleaning service you want. I went for the basic plus self service which covered the basic car wash and cleaned the tires too. Luckily I got there before there were too many people and overall was impressed by the level of cleanliness on the outside of my car! It cost $13 which is pretty reasonable in the area so I'd recommend it! I didn't have time to try the self vacuum stations for cleaning your interiors, but I like that they have them available after the exterior car wash. read more

Geez Louise, what has happened to this place? I've been going for over two years now and what started out as great has really gone downhill. Today I cancelled my monthly membership for both cars so there is $49.98 that they won't be getting from me every month. Dang, was I really spending $600 a year on those two cars? My black car gets the wax and tire shine package. I've noticed for the past couple of months that it doesn't appear to be getting waxed anymore. It looks nothing like it used to look when it would come out. I've also noticed that my tires haven't been shined in well over a month. Now I'm noticing bird crap remains after the wash and my car remaining totally wet after the wash. My white car isn't supposed to get the wax and tire shine but it too is coming out dirty and still soaking wet. I don't know what happened. When I cancelled, the man asked me why, so I told him. They're aware of the issues of cars not drying he said. So why don't they have people at the end drying your car for you if they know they've got a mechanical issue? They're aware of the tire shine too. He said that every employee carries tire shine and I should have stopped one to shine my tires for me. Got it! My fault. He didn't have an answer for the cars just not coming clean anymore and I didn't mention the wax. Ok. I'll move on to another car wash. read more

The exterior car wash was good and my car looked fairly clean-though it was definitely over priced. The issue is that half the vacuums are broken and that whole lane is blocked off. When I went to vacuum my car, the one lane was totally full, and not realizing the second lane was closed off, I pulled up to it and then was forced to exit as there was no way to go back to the first lane. Even if I hadn't pulled over to the second lane and instead waited for the first lane to open, I would've backed up the cars behind be trying to exit the exterior car wash. Just organized poorly and I was unable to vacuum my interior which is the main reason I went to get my car washed. read more

My car was desperately in need of an interior detail thanks to my new puppy and his motion sickness. I had used self-service at Grand Slam before, so I decided to use them for detailing. I was very happy with the work. I got the interior detail. They told me it would take about 90 minutes, but they were finished in under an hour. My car smells great! And it looks great too. I wish I had done it a year ago before I even got the puppy. My car was starting the show signs of age, but this really refreshed it. Now I am ready to drive it for another year or two. read more

Drove out of my way to stop here, after seeing the high ratings on Yelp. Okay, I need to get my car cleaned more often. I can only imagine it's like getting glasses when you didn't know you needed them, because my front windshield looked so clear after my wash. When you pull up, there are so many choices it's a bit overwhelming. I decided on the $25 option which included vacuuming inside and the full wash and tires outside. The guy there taking orders was doing a hard sell on a membership (apparently the in-thing nowadays...from movies to music to gym to Amazon, you name it). I seriously considered getting a membership, because literally two car washes a month would be cheaper than spending $25 a pop. He even said he's throw in a wax job for the outside, which I don't even know what that does for a car's exterior. So I decided to see what the job looked like first, and just went with the full service wash. You get to sit in your car, and watch all the pretty colors bubble up. As soon as you get through the wash, you drive into a slot where they clean and vacuum the inside, and they even cleaned my mats. They dry the outside and call your vehicle when ready. They have a stand where you can purchase snacks, drinks, and they give you free popcorn, which my daughter really liked. Great job, great service. I'm not an easy 5* - a place has to be a world above everyone else to get my 5* and has to be possibly the worst place in the world to get my 1*. This place is INCREDIBLE! Have been coming here for probably 10 years - used to be a monthly customer until they moved from their old Buford location as it's too far away now. The new company that bought their old location (Mister Car Wash) has treated us horribly and they went way downhill So when I want a great wash with interior clean, I drive the 45 minutes to come here. Their tunnel was is perfect and has whatever chemicals needed to make your car look like new. But where this place really shines (see what I did there?) is with their extra services. Pay a bit extra to get their interior clean or perhaps their hand wax. Your car will look like the day you bought it from the dealership. Of course, you can spend a LOT of money here like their $500 service to get your car ready to sell. But their standard washes with interior clean are wonderful and the people who do the work are competent and trustworthy. This is the best car wash in Atlanta, hands down! Have been a customer for approx 2 years and this place is slowly going to hell. The backseats remains dusty, the dash is partially wiped down, they have got to where instead of vacuuming the inside they like to use those hi pressure air hoses to just blow the dust around. The wheels are rarely cleaned as they should be, sometimes not much soap is used in the tunnel wash. The wheel shine on the tires is spotty, inconsistent at best, If they have free coffee, as they advertise, it is a rarity, however, they will tell you "we have free popcorn"...screw popcorn I want something warm on a cold morning. And just this past week I noticed a group of black guys just hanging around, walking around doing nothing. Perhaps they should be there but who knows? I can tell you they did zero work during my visit. Probably friends of someone so guess this is they new hangout. Unless they improve dramatically over the next month myself and Grand Slam will be parting ways. read more

I recently took my car there & the girl that uses the brush before you go through the car wash broke my fin on top of my car by forcefully slamming the brush against it. She handed it to me as I was going through the wash. Unfortunately, I then went through the wash without a cover to protect my circuit board. Not only did they shove my fin off, but they handled the situation poorly. They also refuse to do anything to rectify the situation. I went there today for a car wash and while vacuuming noticed that quite a bit of dust hadn't come off my car after going through the wash. I went through the line to ask if I could run through again to see if my car would come out clean the second time and the owner told me I'd have to pay for a second wash. Any other car wash would let you run through again no questions asked and the owner here flat out refused and said I'd have to pay again. The care that the staff puts into your car and their attention to detail is something I'd expect of a much more expensive detail shop. I had great expectations from grand slam. I took my Audi Q7 for detailing to grand slam, coz my kids had messed up the rear seats, and there was dog fur in the boot. Thanks to our shedding dog. I finally made the decision to get my car washed after months of saying I need my car washed. I came here because of all the good reviews. But found out this location just opened last week. BRAND NEW LOCATION, HUGE! When you pull in you are greeted by an attendant who helps you decide what kind of wash you would like, and breaks down the cost and details. Madison was VERY helpful, and had an amazing personality that made you feel welcome. I was convinced that getting the unlimited full wash was the best deal for me, especially because I only paid $25 today, it will cost $45 a month after that. The price seems practical especially since this location is on my way home from work and it is unlimited, so if I wanted to wash my car 10 times in 1 day I guess I could, right? You can go on their website to see the different washes offered and their prices. Also if you do decide to get the unlimited wash you can cancel anytime before your anniversary date by email, which in my opinion is super convenient. They have an outside concession stand with complimentary popcorn and coffee. They also sell drinks, candy, and air fresheners. And they can also make mochas, cappuccinos, etc. I was able to buy a drink and get cash back to tip the workers, so that was a plus! I want to give all the employees their props, it was super cold today and they were out there making mine and everyone else's car look better than when it came in. To be honest the inside could have been cleaned a little bit better, but honestly it was extremely cold and I don't think I could have done a better job if that was me out there. I guess I will see how much better they can get when it warms up. Obviously I will be back and will try their add on hand wax. read more

BEST place ever!!! I accidentally left deodorant in my car and it melted and hardened all over my seats. They not only got it all out, but they also cleaned and disinfected the hard surfaces in my car. It looks brand new on the inside!! The general manager, Matt, personally took my car through their car wash and used towels to wipe down my car. All this for just $45!!! WOW!!! I was expecting to pay over $100...
