I knew ahead time that this visit would only be x-rays since it's been a while since I've had them done and it was in a different state. Eve was upbeat when asking me questions about my dental history and then we got to talking about my upcoming wedding. I felt very comfortable tasking with everyone that I saw today. After my screening and having photos taken of all my teeth (so cool to see) I was told that they could fit me in with a cleaning that same day. I know this isn't the norm but I was more than happy to not have to make a shirt follow up visit. As I was leaving after my cleaning, one of the receptionists noticed I didn't have an umbrella and it was getting ready to rain. She graciously asked if I wanted one because they had some extras! Such a thoughtful group of people who deserve the excellent reviews they currently have!

While the office is professional on the surface, my experience overall was extremely frustrating and costly. After my permanent crowns were placed, I developed persistent sensitivity in my right front tooth (cold and hot) that did not improve over time. I also felt a noticeable ledge/step on the back side of the crown near the gumline, which made me concerned about the fit/contour. Aesthetically, the crowns also looked longer and bulkier than expected with heavier incisal edges than what I was aiming for. When I tried to address these concerns, I was advised to pay for additional diagnostics (a wax diagnostic). After I paid for it, the office later terminated the patient-provider relationship instead of completing the planned corrections. What made the situation especially difficult was the refund process: the office confirmed in writing the refund amounts, but repeatedly stated the refund would only be processed if I signed a broad "release/indemnification" agreement exactly as written. The agreement was extremely one-sided. It went far beyond acknowledging a refund and included sweeping waivers and protections for the office, along with a "non-disparagement/online statements" section that, in my view, would discourage patients from speaking openly online about their experience. I was not comfortable signing something like that just to receive an agreed refund. Overall, I'm deeply disappointed by how concerns were handled. The communication and resolution process felt dismissive and, at times, misleading - more focused on protecting the office than responsibly addressing the problem. My takeaway is that the approach felt money-driven, and I left feeling I couldn't trust the process. I would encourage anyone considering treatment here to do thorough due diligence and not rely solely on online ratings.

But apparently that's…read moreall this company wants is to do deep cleanings and more money for their damp pockets they don't care about their damn patients even if they don't need the deep cleaning!! And they scare you into getting a deep clean by the way they talk to you at the 1st appointment! I was taken back by their dental hygienist Chris! As soon as I sat down she asked me what I take plavix for! I said I had an operation last year and she asked for what? I said I had heart surgery she said and And I said I had Open heart surgery She says and I said I had a double bypass she yells at the top of her lungs okay there we go!. I said all that information should be in my records she said well your records are not complete I said I filled them out online through your website not only that but my health advocate and I on my 1st appointment to this office sat for 1⁄2 an hour with a woman in the middle of the building in a middle office and we went through all my health Information! Because that woman was trying to set a plan on what to do with my teeth and where to go so she knew every single detail about my health information otherwise why the hell would I have had plavix on my health chart there would be no reason to tell anybody that because of hippa laws! If they didn't and DON'T need to know I sure as hell would not tell them that I am on plavix because it's none of their damn business because there are hipaa laws protecting me! But because I bleed in my teeth area when I get them cleaned they needed to know so I wouldn't bleed out and so I would stop taking my plavix 5 days prior! Then the dental hygienist Chris asked if I had any more medicines to report because I didn't have all my medicines so I pulled up on my phone all the medicines I take and she wrote them all down then she comes out and says we can't do anything today for you because you need to have a form filled out by your heart doctor! I asked her why in the hell did I not get that form on the 1st appointment that I had here I said I should have had that form with me and filled out for this appointment today but no nobody gave me that form on my 1st appointment! And then the dental hygienist Chris says and when my people call you To set up an appointment don't cuss at them or be rude or else I will make sure that you are put far far out of our system to get your teeth worked on. I came out and I said well then you better tell your damn people the next time they call my phone there will be hell to pay cause I get tired of receiving calls with no information no voicemails no nothing so I'm supposed to take a wild guess as to why your people are calling me for when there is no damn message to playback because they don't leave one! She didn't like that whatsoever and started attacking me even more and I said to her you know what fine I will call my health insurance file a complaint and make sure your office are taken off there UPMC health plan insurance and she says oh go ahead and try good luck!. Chris was a pure bitch that had a plan to take me back sit me in that chair and verbally attack me before the appointment even started! And for what because I get tired of their offices sending me endless emails and calling my phone and never leaving me a damn message for me to figure out what the hell these people want from me!! And that day I called and left a message asking for their office manager to call me and NOBODY has called me yet apparently they don't want my side of the story and patience don't have rights at this office so I highly recommend you not going there! And the next thing I get is a letter of discharge telling me to go somewhere else????? And for what for sticking up for myself not wanting to be verbally attacked by their dental hygienist Chris! Like I said patients do not have any rights at this office so if someone suggests this office my opinion don't go! I mean seriously just check out the 11 other reviews on yelp!. Apparently I'm not the only one who has had problems with this office!. But I can personally see why people do go postal on some companies for this exact same damn reason! Sorry but you're not going to verbally attack me when I sit down in a chair to get my teeth worked on if you're not going to work on them! And then have the gull to NOT call that patient to get their side of the story! And my health advocate who was sitting in the damn waiting room could testify that I did not have any disruptive manner in that office because I wasn't back there long enough I went back 5 minutes later I came back out! And believe me when you get my voice started everybody can hear me just ask my health advocate my partner for 23 years! So I believe I am being discriminated because I am not only gay but positive +! I already called my insurance company & Filed a complaint! & To think I only came here because of a cracked tooth they can't pull!

This is the first time in 34 years of life that I did not cry at the dentist! I had a dental emergency and needed a tooth extracted ASAP! I looked online for places with good reviews (because I finally got insurance and didn't need to go to cheap questionable places lol) and this places reviews SHINED and were so on point! As a new patient, I was concerned it would be difficult to get in quick. I was greeted on the phone by Cindy who went above and beyond to comfort me on the phone as I was panicking in pain. They couldn't get me same day but got me in the following day. Cindy gave me advice on how to get through the night with minimal pain and told me if they had any cancellation she would call me right away. So Sweet. She was heaven sent to me at my worst time! Warwick Dentistry a literal hidden gem nestled into the bottom on the BNY Mellon Building. Parking is normal downtown parking in BNY's lot off of Ross street. Easy to navigate and also really clean for a downtown lot! I didn't feel unsafe in the parking lot at all actually! Office was clean and inviting! When I came in, I was greeted by the amazing Cindy who helped me the night prior and she was just as delightful in person! The Dental assistants (Brittany and Christine, I believe were their names, I was ridden with anxiety so excuse me if I got the names wrong) they so kind and patient with me as the x-rays were difficult to get because I couldn't really bite down. They were so gentle and took their time with me, it was so appreciated! The first time visit in very thorough; they get x-rays and photos from every angle and make sure they get a good profile of who you are so that they can help you game plan what's next for your mouth and that journey. It was so thorough that I knew I was in good hands and started to be a little less anxious. Then I met Dr. Joyce and Dr. Jack, they were SO SOO NICE. They did not shame me for the current status of my teeth. They were warm, understanding and so genuinely nice and were very informative about what they saw so that I could understand that things weren't as terrible in my mouth as I imagined. I instantly was more set at ease. Dr. Jack was preforming the extraction. He knew I was nervous, offered me a weighted blanket, which was so random but actually was super effective in feeling like "a warm hug" as he described. He even said if I had headphones, he recommended I put them in and listen to my favorite tunes "But not your FAVORITE song, we don't want you to start associating it with teeth extractions!" haha so real and so kind! Those tricks worked surprisingly so well! Along with his gentle approach and just out of this world skills! I put the weighted blanket on, put my headphones in grabbed my stress ball and closed my eyes. When I tell you this is the first time that I actually did not feel pain through out the process, I am not lying! I felt the pressures of course but there was seriously no pain! By the time he was stitching me up, I was like "wait, are you stitching me up? Are you done" He was! I was freaking FLABBERGASTED! Literally in complete awe. I have never in my life thought "That was the best dentist ever, in the history of dentists". I called my mom instantly to say "Ok... I did it and they were AMAZING and I am not scared anymore, as long as they are my dentists!" I raved about them all night! (More than I should have talked with stitches) But I was in no pain! I was so unconcerned about talking because I was literally in no pain just sore. It was crazy! Cindy followed up the next day to make sure I was healing ok and offer advice on food options. Listen, if you are scared of the dentist, haven't been in years or ashamed of the condition of your teeth, I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH!

I then sat in the chair for another 20-30 minutes. Then, the sweet dental hygienist told me that they couldn't really "re-bond" my retainer (the reason I came) and that I should maybe go to my orthodontist to have it bonded the usual way it should be. They still bonded it for me because I told them at that point it's been 2 hours of me waiting, but they said it may not last as long as if it were done at the ortho. I should've been home by 2:30, but instead I didn't get home until 4:30. I missed a whole half day of work. I wasn't visibly upset, but I was quite annoyed. I just wish that the same rules applied where if they were 15 minutes late to an appointment, it would need to be rescheduled. I would've saved a lot of time. Lisa (I think) and the other dental hygienist (blonde, wears a puppy necklace and has tattoos) are very sweet and always helpful.

After some time, I discovered that the crown Dr. Hart had placed on one of my molars was loose when it eventually fell off. The whole time I had been repeatedly told that all I needed was a few more bite adjustments to make it fit right. Naturally they would say this when they were making money off me for these bite adjustments. Seeking the aid of another dentist, we recemented the crown in place, but my mouth still doesn't feel right. My bite has been permanently and, in my opinion, unnecessarily altered causing me daily discomfort and pain which I did not experience before. I feel like a shell of my former self living with the damage done to my mouth and my bank account. Therefore, I'd recommend seeking out another more affordable and, most importantly, less invasive dentist.

Years and years ago (12 years ago), I went to Dr. Aharon because I had just moved to the area and had begun working as a contractor. I had to pay out-of-pocket for dental insurance, so it seemed there were few that actually accepted Delta Dental (HMO). That said, I found her online and she was close. I had no idea that there could be such incompetence when it came to insurance accredited practitioners. Boy, was I wrong. I will never forget this as long as I live, as it was a traumatizing experience. First of all, the day I came in, she had no dental hygienists. I came in for a cleaning and a checkup. She apologizes and tells me, she'll do it along with the exam. She puts me in a room that is in need of cleaning and some updates. It hardly felt like a sterile environment. Next, this guy walks in (in just standard business casual wear) and begins asking me questions from my new patient questionnaire. He seems like he has no idea what he's doing. He puts on gloves. At one point while asking me questions, he sticks his fingers in my mouth without much warning at all. He carries on using the gloves to write things down, then goes to put his fingers back in my mouth. WHAT? I don't even believe he was a trained dental assistant or anything. Super unsanitary. All this to say, Dr. Aharon came in, did a pretty quick job at "cleaning" my teeth. The whole time she is in my mouth, she is trying to tell me that I probably have sleep apnea. She attempts multiple times to get me to rent some machine from her. It was the most bizarre doctor visit I'd ever had, to say the least. When she tells me I have two cavities and goes to schedule an appointment to fill them, I tell her I'll call to make that appointment. As I'm going out the door, she's still trying to get me to rent some sleep apnea testing equipment. Good grief. And there was no way I was letting this woman fill cavities! I paid my copays, but I never came back. Luckily, I found another dentist who was super sympathetic and helpful, willing to give me an exam and cleaning for the price of my copays, even though Dr. Aharon used up my insurance's allotment. Have you seen this lady's reviews on every platform? I was hoping this was experience was some sort of fluke or off day, but it looks like she shouldn't even be practicing. I even called Delta Dental about her when this happened. Anyway, the fact that she has the nerve to say I owe money? After that experience? After all these years? For a "cleaning" when she had no hygienists there? Wow. This lady might have more problems than being a bad dentist.
