I've been to this theater a few times now, and overall it's a good experience. I love that particular seats can be reserved online, and concession prices are actually not bad compared to other theaters I have been to in larger cities. My only issue with this location is the ridiculously slow staff! I waited in line for 20 minutes just for popcorn, and there were only 2 people in line ahead of me! I normally would've just left, but I took my daughter for her first movie and promised her some popcorn:) I think next time we'll eat beforehand. read more

For as much as this theatre charges, I was expecting it to be nice. I was disappointed to say the least. Lines to buy tickets are ridiculously long. Be prepared to stand in line and wait. The theatre wasn't disgustingly dirty, but it could've been cleaner. People loiter in the hallways, waiting for their movies to start. It congests the traffic of the hallway and makes getting to or from the movie difficult/inconvenient. I shouldn't have to walk through a maze of people to get in or out of this place. read more

Took my boys to see Wonder Woman!! Great movie!! The seats were recliners and were very comfortable. On Tuesday, the tickets for all standard movies is about $6 with half off popcorn all day. The theater was clean! Since I purchased our tickets, food and drinks through the Atom app, I didn't see many representatives. The Atom app allows you to tell the theater when to begin making your food and drinks, so it's ready when you get there. I saw many reviewers complain about the wait for concessions. Using the Atom app will change that. I waited for about 5 minutes and that's because my son ordered a frozen lemonade cup and it is kept in another part of the theater. From my car to the door to the concession stand to our seats, it took about 10 minutes! The recent remodel has improved this theater immensely. While you can only order popcorn, drinks and snacks with the Atom app, the theater sells things like burger and fries, hot dogs, chicken sandwich, etc. It also has a bar where they sell alcoholic beverages. Prices are typical of any other theater. read more

Long lines. Not enough staff to serve the crowd. Not good at all. It's Saturday night and young people night. At this time of 8p should be better staffed to accommodate a busy movie start time.. Great theatre for movies! We use the Atom tickets app, which makes everything super convenient and easy. You can also link it to your regal rewards card, so don't forget! There's plenty of parking, and even a bar inside the theatre. It's nearby lots of store and a few restaurants too, so making a night out in the area is pretty easy. Their matinee showtimes are reasonably priced, so we always try and do that. I'd highly recommend this theatre! read more

I visited this cinema and it was very nice. I try to visit cinemas when I travel to see the difference in food and service. The food was amazing, the service was quick. They are not super happy but good enough to hand my ticket to and collect my food. The theater itself was nice, and clean. Good theater to go to when in town. read more

Regal seems to have stepped their game up a bit lately as the competition has increased. Although their competitor is probably still better overall, Regal happens to be closer to where I live. They repainting the outside and also they now have more comfortable reclining chairs in the theaters which makes the viewing experience much better. It is definitely a welcome change. I'll probably still frequent the other theater more, but since it's closer I won't hesitate to come here sometimes anymore. read more

Need to hire more staff. I had to wait over 15 minutes to purchase my tickets, and it took them too long to realize that they needed more people to work at the box office. I missed the beginning of my movie. If you are going at night, I suggest purchasing tickets online or getting to the box office early. read more

As far as movie theaters go, this place was excellent; clean place, good screens and relatively friendly staff!

If you want to enjoy your movie I would avoid this movie theater. Almost everytime I come here I have had issues. For example in summer our movie had no AC; I was double charged at the concessions and had to wait 20min to be given a movie pass since they were unable to refund my card; on Thanksgiving day our movie screen had a giant square blue hue in the center of the screen, a manager said they couldn't do anything about it; same movie had faulty overhead lights that did not dim at the start of the movie. Management has been unapologetic and unhelpful in every instance. I even had one manager walk away mid conversation. I recommend you choose another theater so you can actually enjoy your movie. read more

People were friendly but I waited in line for 25 minutes for soda and popcorn only to cut out of line so I didn't miss my movie. It wasn't even that long. After the movie went to the bathroom and the floor beneath every urinal and toilet was covered in urine so I couldn't even use it. read more

This is the largest movie theater in the area currently. They have all the latest releases. I like it because it's close to where I reside. It is surprisingly clean for the amount of business it receives. No grips about price, you should expect that. The same goes for food, it's overpriced and not good for you, so it's slowly becoming a luxury for me. However, great parking lot with plenty of parking and well lit for late movies. It is close to good places to eat and grab a drink before or after. I'll have to get a Regal Card though. The cashier always asks about it, which leads me to believe I could be saving some dough if I possess one. (Adds get Regal card to "To-Do" List). I love movies, so I'll be back! read more

I love the IMAX here. Seats are nice. They give a military discount. I have been here to see an opening weekend of a box office smash and they came through the line to sell us hot popcorn and cold drinks. I love the reward program, I get free snacks and tickets. The theater is always clean with the exception of the restrooms, but people are pigs. I also like that you have an option to bypass the long lines out front and head inside to the machine to process your own ticket transaction by credit card/debit card with an ATM option to draw cash all at once. I hate this place with a passion. It definitely has a "well between the military and teenagers on weekends we make enough that we don't have to try" feel. Always dirty, pricey, completely miserable staff, somehow only ever has two people working the ticket counter and one online kiosk. Regal Cinemas Augusta Exchange 20 is a very nice establishment. The weekends can be very busy so it is important to buy your tickets early. I usually buy my tickets online to beat the line. The establishment is a very nice size and holds a lot of people. I think it's cool that they require their employees at the concessions to suggestive sell candy and if they do not you get a free movie ticket. I haven't been able to get a free movie ticket yet. We came here to watch Spider-Man and were very excited to get the Cheto-Popcorn or a pretzel. When we got to counter the manager was quite rude when he told us they were too busy and weren't making either of those despite them both being on the menu and they only had nachos and regular popcorn available. This is the second time in 3 weeks we were told they only had nachos and regular popcorn. Regal needs new management had we know they were going to not have the cheto-popcorn we would have gone to the GTC since they are a much nicer and better managed theatre. I ordered a glass of wine. Before she poured it, she charged my card and waited for the tip. She then gives me a 3oz of wine after charging me 8 dollars for it. When I asked the bartender what was going on she said "that's it," turned away, and just dismissed us. I asked the manager was that the standard and she said yes. Won't be back again. Best part is the Regal Crown Club, it is free to join and you get rewards like free popcorn and movies. Biggest draw back is the IMAX is disappointing and not worth the extra cost of the ticket the screen is way too small. If you a good IMAX experience you have to go to Atlanta, Chaleston, I think they may have a good one in Columbia. read more

I hadn't been to this theatre in a while. I think the last time was for the movie 'This Is It". I just don't prefer this theatre. But recently I returned because '12 Years a Slave' was not playing at any other theatre in town. The ticket buying process was a breeze and the girl who was at the ticket booth was very friendly. As I entered the business I was then greeted by the lady who was taking the tickets. Her name was 'Cookie'. She was polite and even made small talk about the movie I was seeing, saying that she don't think she could watch it and she didn't believe that it really happened. I assured her that it was a true story. I bypassed the concession stand because I just had finished eating at an adjacent restaurant. I also stopped by the restroom before the movie. It was clean but I did notice someone had left trash on the sink. It wasn't a problem that couldn't be fixed. So on to the theatre were the movie was playing. It was clean, climate controlled, and actually comfortable. The experience was superb this time. I stop going to this theatre because they lacked in some areas that others did not. So I see that they made the necessary improvement, and I'm glad they did!!!! read more

Overall, this theater is okay. This last time I went, I was surprised that the theater was actually clean. Usually when I go in there is trash everywhere. The audience at this theater is a bit rude as well. They're always talking and using their phones during the movie. Some of the staff at this theater are really good at their job, but others are not. It just depends on who you get that day. It's also very expensive to get a ticket for an evening showing and the student discount is only $1 off. Your sense of reason..for actually buying something so ridiculously priced. I know all movie theaters do this, but I feel like they need to adapt to the times.
