We visited Regal Crossroads Bellevue Theater on July 4 with family to watch the Young George Washington movie in Theater 4, Aisle E, and had such a great experience. There were four of us, and the fully reclining lounge seats made the whole movie feel like we were relaxing in our own living room. You can sit upright like a regular recliner or lie all the way back -- super comfortable. We even brought a blanket for the kids, and it felt cozy and perfect. The theater wasn't crowded, and there was plenty of parking, which made everything easy from the moment we arrived. Inside, the place was clean, the bathrooms were clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The whole atmosphere felt relaxed, family‑friendly, and welcoming. read more

Originally opening in 1988 and converting to Regal Cinemas in 1998, the Regal Crossroads Auditorium 8 has full stadium type seating for all shows. My son-in-law treated me (along with my daughter) to a 18:30 show of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba - The Movie: Infinity Castle (the first movie in a planned trilogy). Spurged for a large popcorn ($11.99). There were plenty of trailers before the movie, though there must not have been enough future movies for the in-seat audience: played the one for Wuthering Heights (2026), convincing me to think we were in the wrong theater. Rating this compared to other theaters so not downgrading due to too many ads or previews. They all do that now. What I give it thumbs up for are the large recliners with plenty of leg room. Also the generally friendly staff. And the Crown Club "super saver" benefit that gives us half price soda and popcorn. Go here mostly for the Monday Mystery Movies but occasionally other shows. The presentations are usually good. The concessions can vary, sometimes the popcorn is the little tiny crumbs but more often is full sized and fluffy. Good selection of candy, but the other hot food like dogs and nachos are not good, and you have to wait too long. read more

I visit the Croassroads Regal Cinema so much, it feels like a second home. But the key ingredient in that joyful experience is the staff - Jessica, the floor manager, is always a particular pleasure, going out of her way to tend to any concerns or simply greeting me with a smile that radiates warmth. Love that you reserve seats ahead of time with Regal and that they gave a great rewards program This location is great about handling an issue should one arise (have to get a refund last minute, issue with seats or people, etc) The bathrooms are actually consistently VERY clean. Many years ago that was not the case so I really appreciate it. The theatre itself (where you sit and watch the actual movie) is always clean - floor, seats, arm rests, etc. So nice!! The concession lines move at an average pace and the people running the register and getting the items have just enough of a clue to keep it running semi-smooth. The experience always feels like they are just out if training since it is a little clunky and they always seem just a little unsure of what they are doing...but I am being super nit picky. My family and I have been loyal patrons of Regal Cinemas, visiting almost weekly with our Unlimited Passes. However, after our most recent experience, I'm questioning whether we'll ever return. During a showing of a PG-13 film, my family -- including our 17-month-old -- was singled out and asked to leave without warning. An attendant approached my husband (who wasn't even holding our child at the time) and claimed that our baby was making noise, despite there being no complaints from other patrons. When we asked for clarification, the manager suddenly introduced a "policy" that infants aren't allowed in PG-13 movies and that babies must remain completely silent. This "policy" does not exist on Regal's website or in their posted guidelines. Even more troubling, older children making considerably more noise in the theater were not addressed. When we questioned why only our family was being singled out, the managers contradicted themselves -- first stating no one complained, then claiming someone had. As the only Black family in the theater, the unequal treatment was impossible to ignore. This experience was not only disappointing but also infuriating. If Regal expects to uphold its reputation as a family-friendly establishment, they must do better. This incident highlights a clear need for policy transparency, better management training, and equity-focused customer service practices. I'm calling on Regal to do the following: 1 Train management and staff on the theater's actual policies and implement anti-bias training. 2 Hold managers accountable for singling out customers unfairly and misrepresenting policies. 3 Provide restitution by refunding our Unlimited Passes as recognition of the inconvenience and mistreatment. I have video and audio of the entire incident and will be sharing it with Regal's corporate office. I hope this review serves as a warning to other families -- especially Black families -- who expect to be treated with fairness and dignity. Until Regal addresses these issues, I'll be reconsidering where I spend my family's time and money. read more

If there was an option for 0 stars I would select it. My family and I took an outing to go see the new How to Train Your Dragons movie that was scheduled to start at 1. However, it was 1:30 and the previews showed no sign of ending. Upon inquiring with the staff, they offered us a refund (as we were short on time and at that point would not be able to stay until the end of the movie). They did not compensate us for our snacks if anyone is wondering, which in total costed 35$. Anyways, they soon came and dragged my family out of the theater, even though they had not told us that although we were refunded, we would have to leave the movie which at that point was 30 minutes in and about a hour of commercials. Anyways, do not bring your family here unless you want to waste both your time and money, horrible place to watch a movie. Would extremely NOT recommend. read more

The movie was originally said to start playing at 1pm but after all the previews and commercials it started at 1:35pm. Because we had an event after the movie we were in a tight schedule and the movies late start made it so we would not be able to watch the entire movie. After asking about it they said they would give us a refund, leaving out the critical piece of information that we would have to leave the movie immediately and not get to watch the rest, even though we would have had to leave early anyways. Even though they did refund us, if we were to go back and try and watch it again the refund wouldn't really do anything not to mention the cost of food and drinks, that were like any movie theater, very expensive. We went to see a movie on the afternoon. Everything was great until we sat down for the movie. The theater was incredibly cold-probably under 60 degrees. One of our group had to run the the car to get a blanket and all of us had full coats and even gloves on. At the end of the movie one of us lost their phone under the seat. When trying to find it, it appeared that under and behind the seats had not been cleaned in a very long time. The popcorn and garbage was probably 6 inches high and multiple bottles were laying there. Though the cinema was fine in other aspects, I will go out of my way to go to a different one next time. read more

What an upgrade! This theater now has recliner seats that are incredible and give you plenty of space and visibility. Staff were courteous and quick to help us, but we did see a late night movie on a weekday, so it was fairly empty at the time. My only complaint about this theater is the price of food and drinks! Its getting out of hand lately, but that's pretty much every theater nowadays. Tip: Get a rewards card! You will rack up points and get free drinks, popcorn, tickets, etc. read more

Although this is the closest movie theater to my home, I had not visited this cinema for several years. Instead I have opted to watch flicks primarily at Lincoln Square in downtown Bellevue or at Pacific Square in downtown Seattle. There was a recent renovation of this theater, so I decided to check what has changed when I caught a showing of "Suicide Squad" here. The lobby interior of the theater hasn't changed. There is still the same concession stand and game area which was there previously. The real changes were made inside the auditoriums. The stadium seating has been replaced by king size recliner seats. What is great about these seats are that they make you feel like you are at home watching a movie. They even have adjustable leg rests for added comfort. The other big change is that there is now an assigned seating system for this theater. This means you need to choose where you want to sit before you enter. Seats are coded with a letter and a number. The A seats are at the front of the theater, so if you don't want to sit too close to the screen, don't select any of the first few letters. I made this mistake when I booked on Fandango when I selected a C seat. I thought that I was getting a seat towards the back, but it was near the front instead. I should have selected a G seat instead. In spite of this, I thought the king seat recliner was very comfy and I enjoyed the movie. The admission prices here are comparable to Lincoln Square for an evening showing. Though this theater doesn't offer $7 movies on Tuesday like it previously did. Prices are discounted, but they now cost about $8.50 for a regular movie on Tuesday. While the lobby interior of this movie theater could use a refresh, the movie auditoriums are looking much better now that they have installed the king recliner seating for a better entertainment experience. read more

Clean large theaters with the ability to reserve seats in advanced. Love the reclining seat feature too. The ticket prices are cheap especially the matinee showtimes, but overall this one of the relatively cheaper Regal Cinema theaters (compared to Redmond, Issaquah, etc). In my town where I grew up I was always used to paying $14-17 per standard ticket. So those complaining that things are "expensive" should wake up a bit. The food is the basic theater stuff, overpriced and nothing special. Note if you reserve tickets online there's a $3 processing fee which is probably standard no matter which theater you go to under Regal. read more

It certainly looks dated from the curbside and as you walk through the lobby and hallways, but the biggest takeaway from Regal Cinemas Crossroads 8 is that there are reclining seats! That's where it matters. I remember when the cinema here didn't have reclining seats and was your average movie-watching experience, and that was okay. But once you recline you do not look back, so to learn that they've updated to reclining chairs has made all the difference. I will from this point on be a returning customer, simply on this factor. Refreshments are standard and overpriced. There is no service where staff delivers your order like at some AMC cinemas and whatnot, but the reclining seats are spacious, leather and comfortable with cupholders. And you can reserve your seats! Parking is easy, as there's a lot right in front of the cinemas but also plenty nearby since it's part of the Crossroads Mall. The exterior and lobby definitely look dated and should be remodeled and updated to fit with other locations. Otherwise, I don't have any complaints. The attendants at the front were quick and I bought my ticket and chose a seat in no time. It was nice they added the seat reservation system so you don't have to fight for the seats and can arrive at any time. They also added reclining chairs to the theaters which gives it more of a premium feel. The theater was also clean and there were no issues with sticky cupholders or popcorn on the ground. read more

I like this place primarily because it is close to the crossroads mall and has ample parking. The place is usually clean and tidy. The staff helpful but not necessarily customer focused. Movie was awesome, so were the seats. But the BAD news, I brought several friends along to see the movie there. I'm a Regal club member, they constantly send me reminders of movies and promotions i.e. discounts on Tuesdays with a card, l/2 price on popcorn with a card, etc. How am I supposed to get bonus points for the reward program when the staff including the manager REFUSE to help me. I dealt with a rookie cashier, young male, apparently he was knew because he nothing about the Tuesday discounts or promotions. I told him I would give him my phone number and that way he could access my account and get me credit for seeing the movie. He said after two attempts my account did NOT come up on his screen, EVERY other Regal I have been to allows and does this. Finally, I requested the manager, a cascasian male who seemed irritated coming out of his office, got me access to the discount prices. I then tried to help my friend register with the rookie employee, he again got the manager who said "We don't do it that way anymore, you have to do it on your smart phone" I reminded him that my friend does NOT have a smart phone and that every other Regal theater I go to, can easily access this. They were willing to give him the Senior rate, but not the discount rate for card holders (Regal club). After getting nowhere with them, I asked if I could buy his ticket on my account and the manager seemed irritated that I continued to assertively address these issues. They said yes and I got him in for the discount price. Then my other friend showed up, he has a Regal account and to the other female cashier who tried, but was also unable to access his account, but I give her credit for trying, but then it came up as the senior rate, NOT the Regal card rate for Tuesdays. Again, I requested the manager who seemed irritated, isn't he supposed to assist with customer service issues if the cashier/counter person can't? He again stated the same as above, so I requested that I buy it under my account number. Unless I hear from someone higher up I will NEVER GO TO A REGAL THEATER AGAIN. Frustrated, I then asked for the area manager's phone number and contact information to appeal his decision, HE REFUSED and offered to let me go to the Regal Web site. A movie fan for life, but based upon this, I don't think I will be goiing to a Regal theater again. What do you do for a customer who does not have a smart phone or know how to use it? POOR Customer Service, if this is not address by someone, I will go to competitors as Regal apparently doensn't want seniors as customers, so my money goes to AMC and Cinemark in the future. Solid 4+. It is a smaller theater but they have reclining seats. Compared to the other theaters around the east side it is one of the best. It is not fair to compare it to the Mann theaters or Arclight, where all the premieres are shown. But that statement is for the movie aficionados. Regardless, this is my go-to spot. I like the size and the staff is nice and they do a good job with the cleaning. It is ridiculous that some movie goers don't clean up after themselves. It's not just youngsters. In fact, I've seen more older (easily 40+) people who leave the place a mess. But the staff at this place is always on top of it. After a movie they are literally waiting outside the door to walk-in and clean up before the next movie. read more

My family and I came here to see a movie this afternoon. I liked that they have recliners and reserved seating (an upgrade for an old theatre) I purchased our tickets and we went in. We were in theatre 1 and I noticed two things. 1)the top row is i. However in the seats they used capital I do seat i7 looked like 17 etc. in fact we looked at 17 and the lettering is identical. 2)once the movie started the metal bar in front of the chair blocked several inches at the bottom of the screen. I was forced to either deal with that or. Not recline my seat which is the entire point of the recliner chair right. The theatre itself was clean and so was the rest of the place which is why I'm giving 3 stars. However for $54 for 4 people I'll probably go somewhere I can sit comfortably and see the entire screen next time. read more

It's a solid, well-updated theater. The seats are the giant recliners that fully recline, so if you've ever wondered what it feels like to be one of people in Wall-E, you can replicate the sensation in front of the latest Pixar flick (or whatever you happen to be watching). Unfortunately, the concessions are a lot like what the Wall-E people ate, which if memory serves was giant slushees and not much else - you know, generic junk food. If you just like popcorn or jujubes with your movie, you'll be happy. If you want something more, eat before you go. One oddball detail: isn't it customary to post the name of the movie next to each theater entrance? They don't do that here and we honestly wondered right until the movie started if we were in the right place. The exterior and lobby areas are still retro, but when you are asked to choose your assigned seat upon buying a ticket, you already know something is up...proceed into the cinema and see just a few rows of VERY WIDE SEATS that RECLINE smoothly and quietly like a Business Class seat on a 787. Put up your feet and enjoy the 4K screen. Tuesday nights are still just $6.89 - so Lincoln Square, watch out - higher value cheaper tix just down the road on 8th St. iPic, watch out - Regal's seats don't squeak, no waiter comes to interrupt during a runpee moment. Update: I since found out the rationale for reserved seating at Crossroads Cinema 8. It has to do with helping to prevent people (especially kids too young to see R-rated movies) from paying for one movie, but attending another movie instead. Or, some people would watch the movie they paid to see, then walk over to another cinema to watch another movie without paying. This could be a common problem nowadays with almost all cinemas being multiplexes. Therefore other theaters (if they haven't already) may also be adopting this new practice of reserved (as opposed to festival or open) seating. So if you come to a showing in which you "own the whole auditorium", I have been told by theater personnel to "just pick any seat" since nobody else is attending. But why is this practice only now being adopted, being that multiplexes have been around for over 30 years? This might bump up their rating to 2 1/2 stars if it were possible. But because of the other problems I delineated, the deafening loud sneak previews, the high ticket and treat prices, and especially charging "odd pennies" for tax instead of even amounts for tickets and treats, this update does not increase their star rating any further. read more

Our go to theater for movies! We love the recliner seats and the prices. Tickets for shows before noon are under 6 dollars! My son has autism and this is the place we feel most comfortable taking him...there is plenty of space in front of the seats so it's always easy to quickly walk him out without disturbing everyone in the row. The bathrooms are always clean and space between theaters is wide and open. It's always busy without being crazy. Wish they did birthday parties too! read more

My family loves going to this place. Pros: - seats are reclining and very comfy just like at Lincoln Square. - Free parking and ample parking space - not as crowded as Lincoln Square so no need to come too early (of course I would still suggest going to movies at least 15 mins of viewing time) - if you have a Regal membership Card popcorn small is only $2 and $4 for big, and accumulate points for free movies or drinks/food on Tuesday. - There is an on-going $7 on any movies on Tuesdays the whole day, which I would say is very worth it than Lincoln Square. - if you ever forgot your regal card they'll just put the points the next time you bring the card, as long as you have the receipt or proof of tickets. - They recently renovated to recliner seats and assigned seating. Cons: - This cinema doesn't offer IMAX movies only Real3D. - Not as many movies just like Lincoln Square but they still do show popular movies just a week or two later than Lincoln Square. (Just go check their movies before thinking of going here just to make sure not to waste a trip) - Based on the recliner seats, they have increased their regular prices but $7 Tuesday still remains! read more

This theater itself is nothing particularly special, but it is a place dear to my heart. I grew up near-by so I've had a lot of wonderful experiences watching movies with friends and escaping into the world of movies on my own. It's great to go there for a movie that's been available for a while, because then it's in one of the back theaters and there are few people in there with you. Also, it's nice to have two grocery stores near-by so it's easy to grab some drinks and munchies before the show (that don't cost nearly as much as theater food)! ;) read more

We've watched movies at Renton's Landing and Lincoln Square but as other positive Yelp reviews have mentioned this place is wonderful after their renovations! For the same ticket price as those two theatres it was nice to have assigned seating and comfortable reclining seats. As always the facilities and seats are super comfortable, as well everything is properly clean. today was an opportunity to take advantage of the offers they have in the early morning, that is formidable!!. Headline: Lackluster concessions, but comfy recliner seats with more room in front This is a first run theater, so what did I like? Firstly, recliners - love the recliners. They were comfortable. I wish they had couch style ones so I could snuggle up to my companion, but that might be wishful thinking. I also like the fact that there is plenty of parking, stuff around the theater so you can grab a pre-movie snack elsewhere, reserved seating and an option to buy your tickets online. What about things I didn't like? Well, the concession stand is woefully lackluster. If you like sugar, salt and soda, you are doing well here. Want something else? Maybe something a little healthier? Sorry. You are out of luck. The new "Noovie" experience (where you play games on your phone triggered by the screen) was beyond annoying.
