Disclaimer: our party used a Groupon and even with the Groupon it was around $130. I'm not sure that this experience, particularly the Ice Walker room was worth the money, even with the Groupon. This review is specifically for the Ice Walker room and in no way reflects the staff. They were nice. When our time started, I think we were able to complete one or two of the puzzles in the first room fairly easily. However there was one puzzle on the wall that when you solve it, a box should open. We completed that puzzle multiple times but the box did not open and we finally had to ask for a hint. The staff confirmed that we had completed the puzzle correctly and manually opened the box for us. They also added back a couple of minutes into our overall time. Where my issue lies is that I see that a month ago, there is a yelp review with the exact same complaint. Why hasn't the issue been fixed if that complaint was made a month ago? Other than the malfunctioning puzzle, our group had to use all three of our hints. Usually when you get a hint you understand where you might've gone wrong or you understand the reasoning behind the puzzle. However for this room in particular, we felt that there were a lot of things that just didn't make sense. The puzzles and the low quality equipment really took the fun out of the experience and we're not sure if we would return. A side note: a couple of people in my party have done two other escape rooms at Flee and they have had fine experiences with those. I believe both of those escape rooms were also five out of five difficulty. It seems that with our experience, combined with the other low reviews specifically for this room, that the Ice Walker room is to be avoided. read more

I've experienced several VR and escape room setups throughout Washington, and this location genuinely has the potential to be one of the best--with just a few small tweaks. In the VR room, having a dedicated staff member (or two) consistently available would make a big difference. There were a few technical hiccups during our session, and the delayed response time pulled us out of the immersion. A quick, attentive presence would elevate the experience tremendously. The escape rooms were similarly fun but could benefit from tighter staffing. The team member assisting us was friendly and helpful, but clearly juggling multiple tasks. At times, they weren't fully aware of which steps we had already completed, which interrupted the flow. That said--once these minor issues are addressed, this place could easily be the standout VR/escape room experience in the state. Looking forward to returning as they continue to improve! read more

Went twice in one weekend for two different escape rooms and had vastly different experiences. Pricing wise, FLEE Escape is on the lower end for escape rooms - ~$40 per person where typically these will run you $60+ per person. Parking situation could be better as they do share a small lot, but the spots were completely full Friday evening. Sunday afternoon fared better, but if you're trying to go when the martial arts classes are letting out, you'll be outta luck. Ancient Egypt (4/5): Even though this is supposed to be one of their harder rooms, the puzzles were fairly simple. Theme-ing was absolutely on point with multiple rooms to explore. The last riddle wasn't the most intuitive, but it's great fun. Museum Heist (1/5): This room has some higher tech clues that were cool, but the room itself was pretty poorly designed. It seems like the team re-designs the puzzles occasionally, but don't remove old clues which led to a bunch of dead ends. The room also wasn't reset properly with some puzzles already solved before we entered, which meant even more clues that didn't seem to do anything. Was definitely let down after having such a good initial experience. read more

Tried the Ancient Egypt and Prison escape rooms. The Ancient Egypt is more difficult than the Prison escape. The puzzles are more complex but man the rooms are nicely designed and very on point to its theme. The Ancient Egypt is really good and be prepared to be suck into the Ancient egypt times. The prison escape rooms features a couple cells that you need to work together to escape the prison. The staff were super helpful and were very friendly. read more

Went here for the escape room with my kids since they allow kids to play. We did the prison escape room and had a lot of fun. With several hints we escaped in the nick of time! It would have been easier to figure out some clues with more adults to group think, but my kids have a lot of fun searching around for all the clues, keys, and places to open. Flee Escape Rooms & VR Arena Redmond - Entrance to escape rooms - Escape Games Near Me - Redmond, Washington

We did the Game of Thrones escape room at Flee Escape Room, and while the concept itself was very immersive, several issues really took away from the overall experience. There was a portion of the game where we had to press on a blade to input the correct code. We were entering the correct solution for over 15 minutes, but nothing was happening. No one monitoring the cameras noticed until we radioed in to ask for a hint. At that point, they confirmed the mechanism must have malfunctioned and manually passed us through to the next clue. That delay completely disrupted the flow and momentum of the game. When we finished the escape room, the final door was supposed to unlock automatically, but the physical latch on the other side had not been released, which again broke the immersion at the very end. Afterward, we were shown where to take our group photos, but the staff member walked away and forgot to come back to take the photo for us. Overall, the escape room itself was well designed and immersive, but the technical issues and lack of follow-through from staff really tanked the experience. With better monitoring and attention to detail, this could have been great. read more

We rented the facilities for a full 3h event for our team and we could not have made a better choice. Flee was a memorable event with great escape rooms, mind-bending VR play and facilities that supported about everything else we could have asked for to enjoy an afternoon of endless fun. The staff was incredibly accommodating when scheduling the event. The staff was very welcoming when we arrived and made sure we were well taken care off. They were super organized. The facilities were clean and purposefully set up for us. They check on every single one of our needs and simply made sure we have a great time. The escape rooms were both challenging as well as suited for different skill levels. Great atmosphere and set up. The VR games so much more immersive than I could have imagined. Flee escape rooms is the best! We decided last minute to go to the escape room rooms, and we are blown away with how fun it is! This is such a fun adventure with kids. Everyone chipped in and helped out. Even our six-year-old was able to help, she crawled under a low place and found the bonus hint! The people upfront are really cool and super nice to work with. It was great to put the phones away and just play a game as a family. It was so great. We decided to do a second one with 25% off! They also do birthday parties which would be a really great idea for a preteen or a teenager. We really really highly recommend Flee escape games.!! read more

The service the girl gave us was top tier, but we were kind of bummed no one asked us if we wanted a photo. The guy just directed us to where to take photos but left it at that. PROS - Some super cool escape room effects that I have never seen within the roughly a dozen escape rooms companies that we've visted over the years (I'd tell you, but I don't want to give anything away) CONS - Extremely limited parking. There are a few spots reserved for Flee Escpae Rooms and those are often taken up by the nearby martial arts a few doors down. We sat in the lot for 10 minutes waiting for a spot to open up. - Dirty. Dirty entrance, dirty bathrooms, dirty escape rooms, etc. Liter on the floors, dirty walls, etc. - Most of the escape room was damaged. There are a lot of broken items and taped up items. The escape rooms are in dire need of repair. OVERALL: I'd recommend Conundrum Escape Room in Redmond over Flee. Although Flee edges out Conundrum in game experience, Conundrum's atmosphere makes for far greater game play enjoyment. read more

In 2020, during COVID, we purchased two $120 gift vouchers from FLEE Escape Room. At the time, each voucher covered a full room for up to eight people with no additional cost. This was clearly advertised as a special offer on their website to help the business stay open during the pandemic. The deal was significant--regular admission for most rooms was about $27 per person, so the voucher price worked out to roughly $15 per person, nearly half off the normal cost. We purchased two vouchers both to support them and to use later for team-building. When we redeemed one voucher in 2023, both vouchers were mistakenly applied because staff used the perceived $240 "full value" instead of the original $120 special-offer value. After discussing it with the team then in charge, they reinstated the second $120 voucher, confirming it could still be used for a future visit under the original terms. Due to personal circumstances--including storm damage to our home and two major surgeries--we had to postpone the team-building visit by about a year. When we recently attempted to schedule, FLEE declined to honor the originally promised "full visit for up to eight people." Despite having email confirmations of the reinstated voucher, they would only offer the $120 cash value and required us to pay full current pricing for a standard booking. We were told these were the only options available. We have supported FLEE for nearly a decade with both family and business visits, so it is disappointing that the previously agreed-upon terms are no longer being honored. Because the experience included with the voucher is not being provided as promised, we will not be returning and will be seeking a refund through the BBB. For those looking for alternatives, a new escape room--Countdown Room Escape--is opening soon in Crossroads Mall and will be closer to our business. read more

Flee escape has given me the best VR experience I've ever had from a facility. With it's VR you and your group are actually moving around not just sitting still and shooting stuff. Like sure I may have ran into a couple of my group mates but that's just proves how well made their VR experience is. Also they have escape rooms which was very enjoyable. If I remember correctly there are around 5-7 escape rooms you can chose from. I chose to do there second easiest one with a group of 8. For me it was enjoyable even though I'm not to good with puzzles. Flee escape gave me an amazing 2 hours of entertainment to the point where would want to go there again. read more
