The designer suggested coordinating fabrics to go with the main fabric I selected. The samples arrived within a week, even during a major snowstorm. I am very pleased with my experience with Regal Drapes. I wanted a custom swag for my dining room window. I looked at one place locally but it I didn't see what I wanted. I looked online and found Regal Drapes. I found a fabric that looked great using the digital simulator on their website. I ordered a fabric sample. It arrived promptly via USPS. The swatch matched my colors closely. I them called and talked to my designer, Marie, who verbally guided me through the measuring process. She keyed in the measurements as I gave them to her. I paid over the phone and was given an estimated completion date. It was completed on the date I was quoted. I called twice and checked on it. They didn't mind me calling and they politely gave me an update. My swag was delivered in a long bog. The swag was carefully packaged so that the fabric wouldn't be extremely wrinkled. It included installing instructions. My son and I hung it ourselves with little difficulty. The wrinkles fell out. The pleats fell in place. The measurements had been spot on! In 2022 I purchased ($10k total) pleated drapes for 8 windows (98" length) and one 3 panel sliding door. The Hardware (Westport wand-draw) is terrible. The rubber gasket on the rings don't stay on and the end rings will fall off. I get the scraping sound whenever I close the drapes. The long patio door rod catches in the middle where the two rods meet. It's a battle to close the patio blinds. The drape's hem in my Master bedroom is not straight. I should have complained and returned them when I purchased, but I thought the drape would look more consistent once the fabric relaxed. Installation took two days for my husband to hang all the hardware and drapes. I would not recommend. read more

I am very pleased with the entire experience I had with Regal Drapes. I dealt with Jennifer who was very helpful. She assisted with the selection and walked me through the measurement process to make sure I was measuring correctly. I couldn't imagine how I could order customer valances from NJ and have them delivered to me in CA within three weeks! When they arrived via UPS, I unpacked them and they were ready to hang, not wrinkled or anything. I was able to hang them myself in ten minutes. (I did already have the L brackets installed.) If you are in the market for drapes I can highly recommend Regal Drapes. it is getting harder and harder these days to find someone to come to your house and measure for drapes. Regal's web site takes care of everything. You simply plug in a few simple measurements it asks for and the tool calculates everything, including the measurements of both drape panels and the length of the rod, etc. You pick your fabric (they send all sorts of samples to you on request) and the hardware and wait for delivery. I hired someone to install them for about $150 (I would have had to spend close to that to buy a power drill), and am totally amazed at how they completely changed the feel of our living room. A comedy of errors. We placed two orders and one order was shipped in about 5 or 6 weeks. The order placed before this was delayed for 8 weeks which they reported was due to COVID. Perhaps an acceptable excuse but they told me it was due to the fabric being unavailable and only volunteered this information 7 weeks later after my email query to them. If the fabric was unavailable, I think it is unfair to hold on to the pre-paid funds and not report an issue to me until I reach out almost two months later. When the order was finally fulfilled it arrived missing a mounting hardware bracket so I can't hang my shades until I hopefully receive a bracket from them. read more

I spent 1358.64 on one pair of drapes and a rod. I received the drapes well before the rod so I decided to just purchase a rod and return their rod. I reached out to them via email and received no response. I then called the company and was told I would have to wait until Kristen came into the office to process my return. A week later she sent me an email stating she would give me 50 percent credit for an item I didnt even open the box. I do not need the credit but probably would have been more understanding had they of offered me the full credit but the idea is I have spent 1000's of dollars in the past with this company and recently over a thousand and I get 50 percent off? I ordered custom drapes at the beginning of April, didn't get any proactive updates on my order, and it's now almost July and I was told they haven't received the fabric from the mill (due to covid) and subsequently offered to cancel my order. I had patience because of covid hardships, but three months and no product -- not even in production -- is not the expectation that was set. Giving one extra star because the website was user friendly and they refunded my quickly. But unfortunately it wasn't a well managed process end-to-end and they've lost a customer. I cannot recommend this company for drapes. While they have a nice website and offer free samples, their "designer" is in a hurry to make a sale. When I asked for hardware to go with the drapes, she added it to my order without a quote. I was surprised when I had $270 extra added to my price without a quote or my permission to order them. The "designer" also told me to measure incorrectly so now my curtains are too long on one window. It is apparent now that she just wanted to make a sale and move on. Also, their "satisfaction guarantee" means nothing as I contacted them twice. Be aware that you only have 2 weeks to correct any mistakes in the order. Very disappointed... read more
