My husband and I recently moved into a newly custom built house in Charlotte, NC. There were several windows that I wanted to dress with window treatments. I did research on the internet to get ideas of styles, designs and materials and found Regal Drapes. The website is fantastic to navigate: very easy and it gives you lots of different ideas. When I called to pursue this further, the phone was answered promptly. I had the privilege to work with Marie Heal. She was able to suggest lots of ideas based off of pictures that I sent her of our windows. She also sent samples of the materials that Regal Drapes has on site to help with the decision-making. The sample materials were a nice size and they were organized neatly in a sample book... very professional. After much contemplation, I decided to pick a material that Regal Drapes did not have in stock. What is really awesome was that they were able to order it directly from the manufacturer. Marie was able to give me ALL pricing before I placed my order. I need to also mention that I consulted a local custom window treatment shop. The pricing was about what Regal Drapes quoted me, but Marie made sure that she matched the pricing. OK. The VERY BEST PART: the turn-around time for them to make and ship the final product was within 1-2 weeks. The local custom shop said that it would take them 3-5 months!! When the final product arrived, I was VERY impressed with the quality and craftsmanship. Doing business with a company that was located in NJ while I was in NC was, for me, stepping out my comfort zone. What made this decision more comfortable for me is that they fully stand by the product if you are not satisfied. Needless to say, I am very pleased with my experience with Marie Heal and Regal Drapes. They are a top-notch company to deal with. I have recommended to all my family and friends. Regal Drapes did an amazing job on designing, creating, shipping and even correcting my stupid mistakes! I worked with designer Jessica Hagedorn by taking pictures of the room where I needed drapes along with the walls and fabrics in the room. She shipped me samples and I took pics of the samples next to all of the fabric and walls in my room. Jessica then made a recommendation on the fabric and style and walked me through the entire process. Then, when it came time to order the drapes, I sent Regal the wrong measurements. It was totally my fault. So when the drapes arrived they were twice as long as I needed. I was such a moron. I contacted Jessica and she said no worries, ship them back and we will hem them down to the right size for you. Regal sent me the shipping labels, and free of charge, I shipped them back. They made the corrections and shipped them back to me. It was my fault and Regal didn't charge me a thing for correcting the length of the drapes. Amazing service and amazing product. What a WONDERFUL experience. I did not order the first time I visited there website because I never heard of them, good or bad. Their sales person emailed me asking if I need help, but I never followed up with her. Several months later I revisited Regal Drapes because I could not find something that looked good for a reasonable price. I finally bit the bullet and ordered drapes for ONE of the rooms because, I wasn't sure...just skeptical about being disappointed. BOY was I delighted when I received the drapes and hardware I ordered! All the items were wonderfully packed and received in great condition. My great experience started with Marie who helped me with my order, to the manager who sends out the order (I'm sorry I forgot her name). I requested samples from Regal Drapes after I received a quote from a prominent national chain store that was way more than I was prepared to spend on shades. I had completely redecorated my bedroom (new wood trim, paint, wallpaper, my own labor), and the shade quote equaled all those materials combined. After I requested about 6 fabric swatches online from Regal Drapes, Jessica reached out and offered to help. I sent her a picture of the bedroom, and she sent me a swatch of every fabric she thought would work in the space. I ended up choosing one of the fabrics that Jessica sent me, that I would not have considered on my own. Jessica was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process.
