We were super sketchy about this theater because the mall itself looks extremely ran down and dingy on the outside but the theater is actually very clean. They do offer Pepsi product which we prefer Coke so we just got a water and an ice cream. They have a lot of snack variety. The theater is most definitely dated and could use an extreme remodel however it's clean so as long as it's clean! read more

To be completely honest its stuck in time. Lobby, furniture seating, nearly everything is out of date. Felt like I was in the early 2000s theater. I drove one hour to this theater just to participate in the Regal theater × Marvel Rivals event for opening weekend of Captain America: Brave New World. My local theater in N. Lakeland has modern everything. Seats arw comfortable, Lobby wide open space & a bar. Gotta step your game up. Here's hoping Marvel Rivals doesn't do another collaboration with Regal because that place [is not it]. read more

This place is hanging on by a thread. This theater is old but the sound is good and the seat is all even. It's not worth to upgrade this theater. The mall reminds me of the Winter Park mall back in the 90's. The only thing that survivor is a Dillard. Then West Oak Mall is also hanging by a thread. The only thing that survivor is a Dillard. Clean, safe, well organized, and some of the staff are personable, attentive, and welcoming. The ticket attendant was another story, he seemed very unhappy that he had the indignity to do this job. The first face the public encounters shouldn't be a frown from someone who thinks this job is beneath them. This theater is close to home so for me that's a plus. However I am hearing impaired and need the use of closed captioning devices to understand (read) what the actors are saying. All too often, the devices they give to me do not work and I miss half the movie by walking back and forth to the concession stand to get one that works. There have been times I had to do that 3 times! They are so nice though (except one time) they give me a free pass to see another movie. After the one time they did not give me another free pass I decided the hassle was just not worth it so I am not going back any longer. On the plus, The employees are usually friendly and helpful (there appears to be a lot of turnover though) The bathrooms are clean. Not too many people go there so you can get a good seat. read more

This theater is okay. The place is relatively dirty. There's trash on the floor, the counter tops where you fill up your soda has stains on it. The theater itself was fine. There was no one there to tell us which theater to go into, so we ended up going into the wrong theater and watching the movie we originally picked but it was already an hour in. We were a few minutes late to the showing we picked so we thought we had just missed the first few minutes. It wasn't until the movie ended that we realized we went into the wrong theater. I'm a huge Regal fan but this is a new location for me. Here is my experience. The good- * Obviously there are 12 screens so you get a nice selection of flicks. * They integrate with my Fandango App beautifully. I can load in my Regal Crown Cub card and it's automatically credited. I haven't waited in line for a ticket in years. * They support electronic tickets so just flash the bar code on your smartphone and you're in. * It's mall parking so that's easy. * The screen themselves and the sound are just fine. * I can't speak to the concessions as I'd rather have a root canal then pay those prices! * The men's bathroom was clean. I can't speak about the ladies bathroom as all the screaming and yelling that would ensue would be unpleasant. The bad- * They are in desperate, desperate need of a remodel. Most of the Regals have moved to reserved seating and amazing electric reclining seats. The seats here are very uncomfortable and the safety lighting in the theaters is bad. Watching folks trying to navigate to and from their seats is not pretty. I'll continue to patronize them as they are the best theater around my home but I'll do a Happy Dance when they finally get their act together and remodel. Only two things good about this theater is location (for those in more remote areas) and the fact that security isn't tight so sneaking into another theater after your movie is over, as I witnessed many local kids do, is easy. Other than that, Ughhhh. You pay $7.50+ to view the movie, the concession stands are limited, it's dingy inside the theaters, the seats are too close/no leg room, chatty Cathy ass kids (no movie enjoying here) all over the place and most importantly, the seating SUCKS!!!! This place should truly be reduced to a dollar show theater (although I know they don't exist anymore) because paying full price for movies at this place is a RIP-OFF!!!!! Stay away!!! Make the day of it and drive to Brandon to AMC or so other quality theater. Trust me, you'll be disappointed if you don't!!!! read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND. BEWARE- CHILDREN PREDATORS ARE LURKING HERE!!! Went to watch Maverick, was terrorized by CHILDREN!!! The movie hadn't started and a row of OBVIOUSLY YOUNGER THAN 13 YEAR OLDS started throwing their food into our popcorn bucket. (This was a PG-13 movie) We approached the employees in hopes of a resolution.... NOPE. Half of them LAUGHED in my face(popcorn guy).. They other 2, let me know they talked to the children, and did act A little concerned (it was a male and female ticket taker but my fiance (in the theater) and I (getting a new bucket of popcorn) did not see any employee approach the problem children, instead I was stalked by the 2 males children with mullets to the restroom and then to the concession stand. I went back to my seat feeling MORE uncomfortable because I now had 2 boys standing outside the theater while i had peed and waited to follow me back to my to seat after using the restroom where they the mocked me by pretending to throw MORE candy at me. Then they proceeding to dump about $100-$150 worth of candy and popcorn in the theater floor and bully/ disrupt more guests. I was advised by the concession employee that they were "just children" to MOVE MY SEAT( ç if they were bothering me ​as he laughed it off. I don't care how "young" you are. bioterrosim is never ok. employees should never laugh and act like this behavior is appropriate. those children continued to dump and throw food and act like hooligans the ENTIRE 2 hours PLUS, running in and out of that movie theater like they owned it. This happened in late 2014 when the first John Wick film released, but I've always been salty about it. As it proves the manager only checked IDs to screw people out of a movie, not because he actually cared. When I was in line with my friends I realized that I had left my ID in my car at their place (we carpooled). I looked ahead and saw two people at the window, a woman who was not checking IDs, and the manager wearing a button-down who was. If the line had kept up its pace I would've gone to the woman but someone took too long and my buddy who was 21 went to her instead. He DID NOT show her his ID, and remember you have to be 17+ to see an R-rated film, so even if he had showed her his ID that doesn't mean he's any older than 17. Anyway when I am asked for my ID I reluctantly admit I don't have it with me, but being 20 I asked if he genuinely thought I was 16. He said "It's policy" but then I remembered that my friend was 21 and according to their policy a minor needs someone 21 or over in order to attend an R-rated film. After revealing this to him, he allowed me to purchase the ticket... without checking my friend's ID. Fuck that manager. read more

The place where you get popcorn is not very friendly and the rules governjng getting extra condiments is soooooo outdated. This location is awful. I will only go to it when I have to. Screens are good and sound quality good but the seats are awful. Old school seats, not even stadium seating and a long way from most Regal theaters with recliner seating. Concession area is ok and the parking is easy are the two pluses for this location. I love 10 minutes from this theater and I will drive the 50-60 to Pointe a Orlando Regal to watch movies. However this is probably the best option in the Winter Haven area. read more

Pretty dinky little theater that I was willing to overlook until I had to call management because of a ticketing issue and they were supremely unhelpful and rude with a "that's the business" attitude. The ticket lines are long, there's never enough employees to open more than one ticket window. After waiting in line for a ticket you have to wait even longer to get concession items that cost a fortune! Again, not enough employees working behind the counter to make it a swift transaction. Theater is somewhat outdated compared to other cinema brands, remodeling at least the seats couldn't hurt. My theater for today was clean and free of leftover food from previous customers. My experience last night was horrible. All I can say is that if you pick this location because it has the cc glasses for those who are hard of hearing or deaf, don't go. My friend and I were challenged about his well behaved fully marked service animal and then we changed out our cc glasses over 6 times in the first hour of the movie. One manager told us that we hear well enough. Ummmm, no, we lip read. The other manager was like just watch the movie without them. Ummmm, no movies are expensive. I like the visuals and the dialogue. You know what I paid for. It was a nightmare and we gave up and left without seeing the rest of the movie. I'll admit we got passes for another movie, but why bother. The glasses never work here and while this was worse than normal, I'm just DONE. read more

I lived in lake wales my whole life and they have not updated anything in this place in a long time. The lines are long and they want hire enough people to open the other ticket window so people can get in faster. On top of waiting in line for a ticket you have to wait even longer to get popcorn or drinks. Once again not enough people working behind the counter to make it speedy to get to your movie on time. Don't come here if you want anything in a timely manner, want a clean atmosphere, or expect the employees to give a hoot. Literally one poor employee working concessions with 12 people in line...this was after I had to interrupt the ticket seller from doodling to order tickets and he was rude as all get out. There were NO nachos, NO hotdogs, and NO fresh popcorn ready. Ummm...what exactly are you folks doing that you don't have food available for 15-30 minutes? Movie food is a pretty simple concept and it's a limited menu! The lobby floor was filthy. I agree that the theater is old and in need of renovation, however the old seats are comfortable for this 73 year old body. The screens and sound is great which is why I come to the theater, for the BIG screen. Otherwise I could stay home and watch on my big screen TV. I rarely ever wait in line. The concession line IS a challenge. The people behind it are either very slow or there are not enough to assist the customer and service takes what seems like forever. That being said, I do not often get concessions because they are more expensive than the movie. I can go to a real dinner for the prices they charge for popcorn, sodas, and candy. The personnel have never been anything but courteous and helpful. My Regal App makes finding and paying for and acquiring points for free stuff quite handy. All in all I will continue to frequent this theater. My most concerning criticism is that any movies that are not in keeping with Bible-Belt consciousness are never played here. I have to go to Lakeland, Tampa, or Orlando. If I want horror, macho, or violence, this is the place to go. read more
