Overall I think this was a pretty great movie experience. We came with a group of 12 of us on a Thursday night. The place was pretty empty. But it looked so pretty inside. Prices were cheaper at concessions compared to Regal or AMC theaters. The theater we were in had very nice black leather reclining seats! The sound and picture quality was great.

This is a good movie theater that doesn't get packed which is nice. They have a lot of snack and drink options and the process is quick to get to your theater. It is in the touristy section of Orlando so there can sometimes be traffic.

I find is funny that we were at Universal and City Walk watching a Disney movie- but... we were there and unsupervised- so we booked a 4pm showing of Mandalorian and Grogu and WOW! First- perfect time on a Friday- hot as heck outside, the AC inside was glorious. Waiting to get inside... ugh. There's no one. Like- it's nearly empty, but someone lost something and was at the entrance filling out a form with the person who scans tickets.... and she's deep in conversation with the 2 people who lost something, completely oblivious to the young woman hopping back and forth, obviously worried about her showtime and then we are both standing back behind all of them. Waiting. Waiting. The girl tries to say something to the employee to scan her ticket- employee doesn't see/hear her. More hopping back and forth, the girl tries again and I clear my throat when she's done asking and the emp made eye contact with me and I nodded over to the other customer. Yes, please keep the tiny line of 3 moving. Then the wait for popcorn. My goodness- when I say there was next to no one. The gentleman ordering had been there the entire time while we were waiting to enter. Chatting. And continued to to do once we finally made it passed tickets and stood behind him. In line. OMG- help. Luckily- we had plenty of time, but I was mildly losing patience by this point. Popcorn and drink in hand- I used the restroom, CLEAN, horray! & we proceeded to the theater. I had run back to the car for a sweatshirt (I'm always cold) and that's no small thing to hoof it back to the parking garage and then back through security for City Walk. I didn't bring my movie blanket in and I definitely regretted not. The seats recline, but no heat. I love that about my home theater. Our showing was lightly attended- perfect. Not loud, not crowded. I love using the app. I'm a member and the ease of getting tickets at any location, love it. Movie theater- 4 stars Employees awareness- 2 stars Movie- 5 stars! App- 5 stars

Always a good time. Staff always friendly and always clean. Great visuals with high price movie food!

We love this Cinemark location! It is convenient to us and close to restaurants and shopping we frequent. We are part of their loyalty club, and enjoy free movie tickets and discounted concessions as part of our membership. This theater is very comfortable with their lounge seating, and with this visit, the temperature in the theater was perfect! I don't like when theaters feel like you're walking into a refrigerator, so this was definitely a pleasant experience! We purchased tickets in advance and walked in & scanned our tickets and were on our way within seconds. The concessions area was the most crowded I've ever seen, but we arrived early so it didn't affect us. They do offer pre-orders for concession items, so consider that option if you're running late. Parking can get tricky here, as with any other mall location, but there are always options, just not always close to the theater! There do always seem to have accessible parking available. I would suggest checking out this location if you've not yet been, there are many restaurant and shopping options close by, including the International Outlet Mall.

I think this cinema should come with a warning:…read more HEARING DAMAGE EXPECTED. The seats were comfortable, but I still suggest bringing a pillow and a blanket because sitting there for three hours straight can get pretty rough. Honestly, this was one of the LOUDEST cinemas I've ever been to in my life. If you're sensitive to loud sound, I strongly suggest bringing earplugs, noise-canceling headphones, or serious hearing protection. The theater itself, however, is very well maintained, and the screen is absolutely enormous. It's one of the largest screens I've ever seen, and it's seriously impressive. In fact, it's so large that if you sit too close, the image in front of you can float just OUTSIDE of your peripheral vision. My suggestion? Sit in the back third of the theater. Unless you enjoy feeling like you're physically inside the movie, sitting too close may make the sheer size and movement of the images overwhelming, and possibly even nauseating. There is a limit to what the human body can take. During The Odyssey, one of the newest technology IMAX movies to hit the market in some time..., the combination of flashing black-and-white lights, constant pulsating imagery, and extremely heavy, heartbeat-style music had me feeling genuinely tense. At one point I was thinking, "Do I need to see a cardiologist after this?" The volume was so incredibly loud that I felt like I was sitting next to a rocket launch. The vibrations coming through the seats were actually pretty cool, and I enjoyed that part. But the combination of the constant pounding heartbeat soundtrack, flashing imagery, seat vibrations, and extreme volume was a LOT for my stress level. Now, having said ALL of that... The Odyssey itself was fantastic. I genuinely had no idea what was going to happen next, and that's rare. It felt like a combination of science fiction, Jurassic Park, and a massive historical period piece, and it was extremely well done. Hollywood deserves serious applause for creating something this ambitious. The movie kept me guessing, and visually, it was spectacular. My only hesitation is the theater experience itself. The filmmakers clearly knew exactly how to keep an audience on the edge of their seats. Unfortunately, between the pounding soundtrack, flashing imagery, seat vibrations, and what felt like rocket-launch-level volume, I spent a good portion of the movie wondering whether my ears and nervous system were going to survive the experience. So yes, I loved the movie. The theater? Impressive. The screen? Incredible. The sound system? ABSOLUTELY INSANE. One final warning: If you don't want to leave this theater with permanent hearing loss, bring serious ear protection. I'm talking earplugs AND over-the-ear hearing protection, or "cans," over the earplugs if you really care about protecting your hearing. Seriously. Protect your ears. Because there is a limit to what the human body can take.

And it couldn't be located any better right outside of Universal Studios. I had only interacted with a few of the wraps there, but the staff seemed friendly. The theater appeared to be very clean, with it really modern presentation of everything. My only thing, is that it was colder than the witches... I don't know, personality. I went from hot and humid outside to shivering for about 2 and 1/2 hours, hoping that I don't get sick. My only comfort was my popcorn, but it was cold and rubbery. So I can't say it ever eat the popcorn there ever again. Popcorn is one of those make it or break it variables in life. It's really hard to mess up fresh popped popcorn. Maybe it's just their combination of vendors or something, or just not enough guests to keep it continuously popping. For that, I docked it a star. If I could, a star and a half. Two stars would have felt unreasonable, but it doesn't allow me to do one and a half stars so I'll just have to settle with the minus one.

The reclining seats were really nice. It makes it so that even if you get stuck with seats all the way in front of the screen, you can lean your seat all the way back so that it's not as bad on your neck. I won't lie, the chairs are not that comfortable in my opinion, but it was a nice change from the seats we usually have at our regular theater. I was also nice that the food can be ordered directly to your seat. Each seat has its own QR code that makes it easy for the servers to know exactly where they have to bring the order. The food does take a little while to get to you, but they warn you of that on the screen before the movie starts. It is probably best that you go on their website to try to book your tickets in advance so that you can select your seats before they all get filled up. That was how we got stuck with seats all the way in the front. Like I said before, though it really isn't that horrible since the seats do recline pretty far back. The pricing was not bad and they do also have deals during the week where the tickets are way cheaper. I believe they have like five dollar movie tickets on Tuesday or Wednesday or maybe both. They do also have a rewards program. It seems like. The tickets are about 10 bucks each so it still isn't that bad for reclining seats. They do also have an area where you can go and purchase popcorn or anything before the movie starts so if you do get there early and you have time to waste, you can go stand in line to order your stuff before you get to the movie that way you save yourself the way while you're in there. The lobby area where you enter was really messy, but I think it was just because there was so many crowds coming in for the Spider-Man movie. They had so many people everywhere that as soon as you came in, you had to wait practically by the door because the line was so long for everyone coming in. What is nice though is that they have multiple different theaters so they have the capability to have movie starting not too far away from each other so for example, like if one movie starts at 7 o'clock they have another of the same movie starting at 7:05 and then 715. That way, you didn't have to wait so long before still being able to see the same movie. I don't think that once you purchased the tickets, you can modify them, though. I believe that is something you would have to ask the management upon arrival. They do have a no refund policy as well from what I saw on the website. I would say just try to go on the site before you plan on seeing the movie just to take a look and if it seems like there are a lot of times then it may be OK to just go there depending on how far you have to drive. I had a pretty decent experience though and wouldn't mind going back, but it is a bit of a far drive for us.

The Fashion Square mall is, unfortunately, permanently closed now as well. Joy K's review hit the nail right on the head by recommending that a movie producer use this abandoned mall as a film set for a dark/horror/backrooms movie while it is still standing. The comfortingly eerie atmosphere of this theater gave its customers a secret place to escape to when they wanted to watch a movie. Its hidden entrance almost made the movie theater feel like a speakeasy. I feel like only locals knew about this movie theater, and based on my conversations with them, they attended movie screenings regularly. Yes, we all know that Fashion Square Mall is a dead mall that's literally operating on a skeleton crew and held together by duct tape. BUT the movie theater here is honestly the best part about it. Everything about it feels like it's been frozen in time and coming here feels like a blast to the past. From the fun neon signs and bright colors to the checkered ceiling -- this is the 90s! Given how everything is trending, I'm surprised this place isn't more popular. Plus, prices here are very reasonable compared to other movie theater spots around town. The popcorn and soda here can sometimes cost more than the actual movie tickets (crazy enough). The chairs here don't lean back or recline, but they're really plushy and feel comfortable. And the whole place is remarkably well maintained and pretty clean.
