Great location viewable from Katy freeway @ Antoine/Silber exit next to Red Robin. Free parking, large lobby, kiosks for both movie tickets and movie concessions, clean restrooms, and comfy reclining seats.

Regal Edwards Houston Marq'E; a mainstay off of I-10 as thee movie theatre for incoming film attractions. Since moving to Houston in late 2019, I remember seeing my first film here, that Rise of Skywalker Star Wars film. Oh how the time has passed. There's been several reviews/ratings of this place that have given it subpar commentation regarding the lack of modernness and luxury upgrades. Well I can assure you that this theatre is currently with the times which involves 4K/4HD viewing, IMAX experience, VIP lounge/access, and leather recline seatings. Of course you can get the standard theatre viewing here which is what I typically go with since movies are expensive these days. That's how my girlfriend and I spent a lovely Monday afternoon catching Crime 101, a pretty entertaining flick that's right for the theatre. Of course you should definitely splurge on the more luxorious viewings (4K/4HD or IMAX) for the films that call for it such as the F1 movie and Sinners, both of which we had the pleasure of watching in IMAX in 2025. The sound quality and wide screens combined with the large leather reclining chairs make those kind of movie experiences breathtaking. They do start films right on the dot but it's always about 13-15 minutes of previews so if you happen to running late, no biggie as you'll still likely get to the start of the film on time. I haven't tried their concessions here since we usually get eats at Big City Wings or that pizza place nearby that I can't remember the name of. Since this theatre is close to our home and we have the Regal app for convenience, of course we'll be back here for more films and sneak previews. Unless of course they slack on keeping up with the times and fail to upgrade/renovate the viewing experience.

1/1/2026: My aunt and I went to see Song Sung Blue which was a fabulous movie, but we were less than impressed with the theater. We had to change from our regular theater since they were sold out, so we went down the road to Edwards. The area is a little sketchy, and I am not a fan of large entertainment areas. Too many ports of entry for things to go wrong quickly. We went in during daylight, but exited into night time. They have a ton of security presence in the parking lot and a police officer standing in the lobby of the theater, but as much as that makes me feel more secure, you have to wonder why it is so heavily needed. Prices are prices when it comes to theaters. No big report on that portion. The lobby was fairly clean. They have an arcade for the kiddos and young at heart. They have several lines to serve concessions. First issue discovered WAY too late. My aunt and I both got our own individual popcorn. We both used the butter topping from 2 different spouts. We both noticed a weird taste when eating our popcorn. It was like the butter was tainted. Neither of us ate even 1/4 of our bags. If wasn't overpowering, nor did it have a smell, but it was noticeable and disappointing. A movie without movie theater popcorn is not the same. No way the popcorn could be saved. Secondly, the chairs do not recline with a foot rest. We were in theater #9. The chairs go back like a desk chair does. The tension has to be kept or it will spring back into regular position. I love a reclining chair. Lastly, the Regal logo on both sides of the theater wall has a glossy finish and each change in the screen picture throughout the WHOLE movie reflected in the logo. Look at the logo I videoed during the credits. Can you imagine the glare through the whole movie??! It was very distracting. The popcorn can be fixed, the chairs can be fixed, the logo glare can be fixed, but they can't fix the area of town. For this reason, I am out, as a shark on SHARK TANK!

Came to see Zootopia 2 with my friend! We did the VIP tickets (my typical go to for this location) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! They did a great job on the renovation it's always clean and the staff are very nice. I love the unlimited popcorn and icee option of the VIP tickets and the seating! Highly recommend this Regal location

Thanks to FONS PR for inviting me to attend the advance screening for 'materialist', I had a great time. My friend & I received a complimentary drink with our ticket. We both chose "match made in heaven" which was super sweet but good. The room was pretty small for how many people were invited BUT luckily me and my friend got seats together. Although it was packed -- I enjoyed the vip experience and thought it was a good movie.

RPX seats does NOT reclined. And the theater is so empty.

My partner and I went Regal to see 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple for RPX experience. We initially booked our tickets at 12PM on a Sunday, but my girlfriend received a refund on her card for the movie tickets? No cancellation emails, just a refund. We tried calling and no one ever picked up. We went and checked online and the movie was removed for that time slot. Very weird way of handling the situation. We rebooked for a 3:55PM on that same Sunday. We got there at 3:50PM and the movie didn't start until 4:15PM. So 20 minutes previews period - HEAVILY ON PRODUCT ADS instead of MOVIE PROMOTIONS. We saw at least 5-7 Pepsi ads. The seats are extremely hard to reclined back, my back was hurting feeling like I have to force myself to lean back to have the chair reclined. I know for a fact it's Not children friendly. NO feet rest so you're sitting there for 2 hours straight almost like you're on an airplane seat. The RPX experience is just chair vibrating for every loud jumpscare, but it didn't stay consistent throughout the movie - like the first 15 minutes of the movie, every jumpscare is the chair vibrating, after that, it's calm and nothing. 2 stars because the movie was great, colorful and very loud sound.

A nice theater where standard seats have back reclining but no footrest. Concession lines get very long for popular movie days (like a new movie release + discount Tuesday). They have an alcohol bar and their arcade is open now. The lobby actually looks pretty cool with all of the renovations! There's tons of parking in the MarQ but you'll have to walk a bit if you go during busy hours. I do recommend bringing a jacket because some theaters can get a bit chilly.

The last time I been to this movie theater was to watch Black Adam in the D-Box seats. At that time, the whole lobby area was under construction. So it was nice to see how new everything was. They added in a full bar and a game room. The concessions are expensive! Hubby and I both had the choose 2 combo that comes with a large drink and that was almost $70! I had the hot dog and nachos and hubby had nachos and popcorn. The hot dog was your average hot dog. I didn't like that the cheese for the nachos was not warm. Cold cheese and chips is ehhh. The IMAX theater is big! The seats are a little tight if you have some hips on you. The seat can lean back a little bit. They do have a good cushion. The screen is big and the picture looked good. The sound, however, was a little low.

I really enjoy going to this particular Regal location for movies, it's always been a great experience. It's especially a solid choice for late-night showings. The facility has consistently been clean, and I've never run into any issues, which makes it a reliable spot to catch a film.

    Do they sell alcohol?

I know they do in the VIP area. I'm not sure about other areas since I've only ever gone to the VIP section.

I'm not seeing any IMAX listings on Fandango. Did they get rid of it? Or are they in the process of upgrading it?

They do now outside of the VIP room.

Customer Feedback - Damage Control, Accountability & New Leadership (Emotionally Expressive…read moreEdition) I have always loved IPIC. For years, it has been my go‑to place when I want to escape into a movie wrapped in comfort, luxury, and atmosphere. There is something special about arriving there -- from the moment you park your car, you feel like you're stepping into an experience rather than simply attending a show. It's a place that usually understands how to make guests feel cared for. But this visit felt different, and not in the way I expected. As soon as we entered the building, I noticed changes -- subtle shifts in the aesthetics downstairs, a feeling that the signature IPIC polish had dimmed just a little. When we reached the upper level, the ticket staff greeted us politely, but no one explained the new process for blankets and pillows. What used to be a seamless part of the luxury experience was now unclear and uncommunicated. It may seem small, but those details matter. They set the tone. Inside the theater, the service delays were noticeable. We waited far longer than usual, and when our food arrived, it came without plates, napkins, or any of the thoughtful touches that define IPIC's standard. Two pans were placed in front of us -- presumably to be used as trays -- but it felt improvised, not intentional. When we needed containers for our leftovers, we had to leave the theater entirely and walk to the bar. In a luxury environment, guests should never have to chase down basic accommodations. At that point, I knew something was off. I asked to speak with a manager, hoping for clarity or at least acknowledgment. The first gentleman who approached us was condescending, dismissive, and lacked empathy. His tone alone made the situation feel worse. I was genuinely taken aback -- not because mistakes happened, but because the response lacked the respect and professionalism IPIC is known for. So I asked for another manager. And that's when everything changed. The second manager approached with calm, experience, and sincerity. He listened -- truly listened -- without defensiveness or excuses. He explained the recent change in ownership, acknowledged that the ball had been dropped, and validated every concern I raised. His apology felt genuine. His demeanor felt grounded. His willingness to take accountability felt like leadership. He didn't try to minimize the experience. He didn't try to shift blame. He didn't try to rush the conversation. Instead, he focused on resolution, clarity, and restoring trust. He addressed every issue, ensured we were taken care of, and graciously offered passes for a future visit. I didn't want money back -- I wanted acknowledgment, accountability, and assurance that someone would take ownership of the problem. He provided exactly that. And because of him, I left feeling hopeful. Final Impression IPIC has always been a place that blends luxury with comfort, and while this visit revealed areas that need immediate attention, it also revealed something far more important: the power of leadership that listens, cares, and takes responsibility. The second manager reminded me why I fell in love with IPIC in the first place -- not just because of the reclining seats or the gourmet food, but because of the way the brand has historically made guests feel valued. I am genuinely looking forward to the new changes and hopeful that IPIC will return to the exceptional standard that made it a beloved destination. Mistakes happen -- but accountability, empathy, and corrective action are what rebuild trust. And on that front, IPIC delivered.

Shocked... Hubby and…read moreI hadn't been to the movies in a hot minute, so we took advantage of a free night together. Unfortunately... eeek. First, I do want to give credit where it's due. The welcoming team was friendly from the moment we walked in, and the bartender was wonderful. Even though they were out of every wine I asked for (seven different selections!), she really tried her best to find something I'd enjoy. The only wines available were bottles at a much higher price point, which was disappointing. I'm still wondering what happened to their wine selection. Hubby did enjoy a nice cold beer served in a frosty glass, and that was perfect. Dinner was actually pretty good. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the lobster mac and cheese was tasty, although there wasn't much lobster to be found. Now for the theater itself... The seats are definitely showing their age and are getting a little rickety. Service was almost nonexistent. The one bright spot was a food runner who kindly pointed us to the QR code for the menu and even offered to bring us a printed menu. He was great. We ordered our movie snacks, but that's where things really went downhill. The popcorn was as stale as stale can be, the M&M's tasted old and a little funky, and somehow my club soda came with about four ice cubes and wasn't even very refreshing. The movie itself was good, and we still enjoyed having a much-needed date night together. Overall, though, it's sad to see this theater slipping because it used to be the place to go. I really hope they can turn things around. In the meantime, we'll be on the hunt for a new favorite theater. I'd love to hear everyone's recommendations!
