I went to watch a movie here and let me just say... it was hot AF in the theater. I don't know if the AC was broken or if y'all were trying to turn it into a sauna experience, but it was uncomfortable the whole time. Also, those seats are SMALL af!!! I get that they're "standard seats," but standard for who exactly? A skinny white woman? Because us curvy, big-booty women were definitely not included in that design plan. My back was hurting by the end of the movie trying to squeeze into that tiny seat. The theater really needs to think about comfort and space for everybody, not just one body type! Regal Edwards Houston Marq'E; a mainstay off of I-10 as thee movie theatre for incoming film attractions. Since moving to Houston in late 2019, I remember seeing my first film here, that Rise of Skywalker Star Wars film. Oh how the time has passed. There's been several reviews/ratings of this place that have given it subpar commentation regarding the lack of modernness and luxury upgrades. Well I can assure you that this theatre is currently with the times which involves 4K/4HD viewing, IMAX experience, VIP lounge/access, and leather recline seatings. Of course you can get the standard theatre viewing here which is what I typically go with since movies are expensive these days. That's how my girlfriend and I spent a lovely Monday afternoon catching Crime 101, a pretty entertaining flick that's right for the theatre. Of course you should definitely splurge on the more luxorious viewings (4K/4HD or IMAX) for the films that call for it such as the F1 movie and Sinners, both of which we had the pleasure of watching in IMAX in 2025. The sound quality and wide screens combined with the large leather reclining chairs make those kind of movie experiences breathtaking. They do start films right on the dot but it's always about 13-15 minutes of previews so if you happen to running late, no biggie as you'll still likely get to the start of the film on time. I haven't tried their concessions here since we usually get eats at Big City Wings or that pizza place nearby that I can't remember the name of. Since this theatre is close to our home and we have the Regal app for convenience, of course we'll be back here for more films and sneak previews. Unless of course they slack on keeping up with the times and fail to upgrade/renovate the viewing experience. read more

OMG YES! I like like like this theater! It is so nice and spacious. The only issue is that the sets kind of suck and are not comfy. They don't move and just feel old. I guess that they are doing more aesthetics vs comfortability...but overall, I liked the theater and will be back to this one. read more

1/1/2026: My aunt and I went to see Song Sung Blue which was a fabulous movie, but we were less than impressed with the theater. We had to change from our regular theater since they were sold out, so we went down the road to Edwards. The area is a little sketchy, and I am not a fan of large entertainment areas. Too many ports of entry for things to go wrong quickly. We went in during daylight, but exited into night time. They have a ton of security presence in the parking lot and a police officer standing in the lobby of the theater, but as much as that makes me feel more secure, you have to wonder why it is so heavily needed. Prices are prices when it comes to theaters. No big report on that portion. The lobby was fairly clean. They have an arcade for the kiddos and young at heart. They have several lines to serve concessions. First issue discovered WAY too late. My aunt and I both got our own individual popcorn. We both used the butter topping from 2 different spouts. We both noticed a weird taste when eating our popcorn. It was like the butter was tainted. Neither of us ate even 1/4 of our bags. If wasn't overpowering, nor did it have a smell, but it was noticeable and disappointing. A movie without movie theater popcorn is not the same. No way the popcorn could be saved. Secondly, the chairs do not recline with a foot rest. We were in theater #9. The chairs go back like a desk chair does. The tension has to be kept or it will spring back into regular position. I love a reclining chair. Lastly, the Regal logo on both sides of the theater wall has a glossy finish and each change in the screen picture throughout the WHOLE movie reflected in the logo. Look at the logo I videoed during the credits. Can you imagine the glare through the whole movie??! It was very distracting. The popcorn can be fixed, the chairs can be fixed, the logo glare can be fixed, but they can't fix the area of town. For this reason, I am out, as a shark on SHARK TANK! read more

We both chose "match made in heaven" which was super sweet but good. The room was pretty small for how many people were invited BUT luckily me and my friend got seats together. My partner and I went Regal to see 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple for RPX experience. We initially booked our tickets at 12PM on a Sunday, but my girlfriend received a refund on her card for the movie tickets? No cancellation emails, just a refund. We tried calling and no one ever picked up. We went and checked online and the movie was removed for that time slot. Very weird way of handling the situation. We rebooked for a 3:55PM on that same Sunday. We got there at 3:50PM and the movie didn't start until 4:15PM. So 20 minutes previews period - HEAVILY ON PRODUCT ADS instead of MOVIE PROMOTIONS. We saw at least 5-7 Pepsi ads. The seats are extremely hard to reclined back, my back was hurting feeling like I have to force myself to lean back to have the chair reclined. I know for a fact it's Not children friendly. NO feet rest so you're sitting there for 2 hours straight almost like you're on an airplane seat. The RPX experience is just chair vibrating for every loud jumpscare, but it didn't stay consistent throughout the movie - like the first 15 minutes of the movie, every jumpscare is the chair vibrating, after that, it's calm and nothing. 2 stars because the movie was great, colorful and very loud sound. read more

A nice theater where standard seats have back reclining but no footrest. Concession lines get very long for popular movie days (like a new movie release + discount Tuesday). They have an alcohol bar and their arcade is open now. The lobby actually looks pretty cool with all of the renovations! There's tons of parking in the MarQ but you'll have to walk a bit if you go during busy hours. I do recommend bringing a jacket because some theaters can get a bit chilly. read more

The last time I been to this movie theater was to watch Black Adam in the D-Box seats. At that time, the whole lobby area was under construction. So it was nice to see how new everything was. They added in a full bar and a game room. The concessions are expensive! Hubby and I both had the choose 2 combo that comes with a large drink and that was almost $70! I had the hot dog and nachos and hubby had nachos and popcorn. The hot dog was your average hot dog. I didn't like that the cheese for the nachos was not warm. Cold cheese and chips is ehhh. The IMAX theater is big! The seats are a little tight if you have some hips on you. The seat can lean back a little bit. They do have a good cushion. The screen is big and the picture looked good. Nincompoops are blind and can't use their critical thinking skills. A 40 year old woman with a 7 yr old being refused a beverage bc they don't have their physical ID. Not even a picture ID would do. Yes, I have a youthful glow, but I at least look in my 30's. Not even a picture ID would suffice. I say, how can they audit if you did or did not physically touch my ID? Oh wait, you can't. Most uncomfortable seats ever. Fine for my husband who is 230 pounds but I am a small woman and had to put my feet in the chair to keep it reclined and even then it sprang back on its own. And when it is upright it is unbearable for a senior like myself. They are more than just an upright back. It sits you forward. Was so uncomfortable the entire movie. The people behind had to be annoyed that my seat back was upright, then back, then upright back and forth the entire time. Plus others have commented on the reflection on the theater logos on either side of the screen. That is very distracting. Not to mention paying $80 online for 4 senior tickets. Outrageous. Lastly we must have gotten the bottom of the barrel of popcorn. There were very few whole kernels and it tasted stale. We only went here because Star Cinema was sold out. I've been to this theater twice in the past couple months, and both times, I had a positive experience with the staff, space, and overall movie atmosphere. I typically only go to the movies nowadays for action-packed blockbusters that require bigger screens and surround sound to truly immerse into the plot and appreciate the details within the film, and this theater delivered. The seats in the IMAX theaters are very comfortable and is well spaced to allow for people to walk past to their seats and to allow gaps between seated parties. If you have kids or like to take pictures of your movie going experience, this theater does a good job of having movie props in the lobby for the blockbuster films. The staff are also well trained and admits movie goers into the theater in an orderly fashion, and nicely provides directions for the theater when asked. I recently went to an advanced screening at this theater and was impressed by the speed they kept the lines moving and their ability to appease everyone to find their preferred seats in a full theater. I would certainly return again to this theater when planning an outing with friends and family. read more

This is the theater where I take my kids to see movies if we want to watch it on the big screen. Here, we saw Brave, Inside Out 2, Barbie, Wicked, and others. Barbie and Wicked were phenomenal; I highly recommend both! This location has undergone some renovations and I think it's pretty nice. The chairs are comfortable and recline slightly, the screen and sound quality are good, and the while the staff members are not overly friendly, they are helpful enough. The concession stand is insanely expensive, but that has been the case for all theaters for decades. Eat before you go, or expect to shell out some cash for the snacks. Bring a sweater/hoodie/jacket because they keep the temperature pretty low. I like this theater and will continue seeing movies here when I can. read more

Ever since they remodeled, the seats are terrible. They don't recline, they're hard, and it feels like you're being pushed forward. The screen and sound are still fine and that's it. The food is bad, and the drinks are subpar. I don't understand why they've increased their prices when the experience is complete trash. I absolutely loathe going to this theater. read more

Watched two movies here recently - It Ends with Us and Wicked. Had a pleasant time for It Ends with Us. However, I wish the seats were recline-able. The showing of Wicked also had random audio issues. They were short instances - a few seconds long but were very noticeable because they happened in the middle of songs. read more

Enjoyed watching an IMAX movie at this location! Kiosks were easy to use for checking in and printing prepaid tickets. Went to the concessions to ask for water. The employee was very kind and asked how much ice I wanted and if I wanted it to have a lid! Excellent service overall! The inside of the room was inviting. However, the floor near my chair was sticky, and I notcied my bag got sticky afterwards. That was my only issue throughout the experience. Came to this theater to see Sinners as it was the closest IMAX to my house. Pretty standard Regal experience. Popcorn buttery, drinks were cold. I was disappointed by the seats themselves however. Maybe I have been spoiled my AMC and Alamo but the chairs were stiff and kind of uncomfortable after about an hour. They didn't even rock. That certainly takes you out of the movie experience. First, they spend millions on a full refurb to make this the most advanced theater in Houston. It looks amazing and it's technically impressive by all means. However, the seats aren't recliners unless you pay $32+ for VIP. Every other theater in town has recliners. Their seats are horrendously uncomfortable. Why they made this choice is beyond me. Last, as of this post, theater number 2 has a ground loop hum / buzzing noise that is louder than quiet dialogue scenes. It's coming from behind the screen at the lower left quadrant. It's awfully loud and awfully distracting. I told the manager about it and, of course, he didn't understand what I was talking about. I had to tell him I wanted to recover something from this crappy experience as he said, "thanks, I'll check it out." His tone clearly communicated that he didn't care and said, "have a nice day." I said I wanted my money back but he refused. He did give me two passes but wasn't happy with me pushing him to do so. I still appreciate the guest recovery. I really do. The attitude could have been dropped and I was alerting them to a technical problem in one of their theaters to be helpful. The irony? The movie was about a guy with hyper sensitive hearing (tuner). Therefore, the sound was super important. Some scenes were just silence and all you heard was that ground loop hum / buzzing. I thought it might be a bad transformer in one of the many emergency exit lights or stair guide lights but realized it was too well dispersed. Ground loop hum. Google it. Their AI response describes exactly what I was hearing during my screening. My Son could hear it but thought I was a bit crazy. After he read the description and noticed it was exactly what he heard, he knew I was legit versus just his crazy old man. read more

Wonderful customer service, easy ticket pick up at kiosk. There are no ticket booths only one person working at a small stand before entering towards concessions. Large theater, clean, a large crowd for the movie I saw. The staff handled the crowd well, long lines for food but they moved along fairly quickly. Nice place for families and dates. read more

Matinee tickets for Seniors (11.49) too expensive with all fees added on at time of online purchase-for 2 came out to $30!! Seats were uncomfortable- even partial recline seat would not stay in position but kept going back to full upright on its own. Wanted to get a small drink and small popcorn- $22.00!! For 20 minutes we were tortured to wstch many Commercials- not future movie trailers- Horrible. My friend got up and walked around in hall. You know. I have been to Dollar movies, regular cinemas, upper to lower level seating, movie grilles, but never to a section where I could get popcorn refills and a giant slush in self-serve in a separate section of the theater. I was delighted at the experience being a movie buff of old. The Jurassic Park 2025 film was encountered with a single bag of popcorn with squirts of delightful warm butter along with a great mixed slushy of height and flavor extraordinaire. A summer cold fresh experience in a large cup. As I recall I had a berry and cherry mix. Not to be greedy, I remained satisfied not to return, but knew in my thoughts it was available to do so! Being treated by family to this moment in time was a welcomed experience by invitation. We all seemed to enjoy the thrill. I did not know the price for this excursion, but if you are interested you must research on your own. I was glad to see a Jurassic Park Movie for the 1st time by director Steven Spielberg. Yeah. This is my go to movie theater here in Houston. Their pizzas are great and they have awesome mozzarella sticks. Popcorn and nachos are also always a great classic go to. I love that Regal is expanding their food menu. I have tried any of the new stuff but I do plan to try some soon. I was coming to this theater while they were remodeling and the remodel is great. This theater looks great. From the RPX to the IMAX and even the 2 grand general admission screens that they use for the big opening weekend movies are awesome! 4DX for the right movie is such a cool experience. I did it for Twisters and it really enhanced the viewing experience of that movie but at the same time a lot of the movies that have been put in 4DX format aren't really probably worth it. Then there's there's the Regal VIP rooms. It is expensive but as something to add on to make the night a little cooler it is pretty cool. Popcorn and drinks are included with the VIP and they have recliner seats. However the screens are smaller. So again not something really worth doing every time but a fun experience add on. Staff is always really nice and the theater is beautiful. Guest for the most part are always really well behaved. There might have been one or two times that I've gone that another guest was on their phone or talked and also they didn't do it long. The only negative that I would give to Regal is their App can be a little weird and difficult to use at time but that has nothing to do about this actually facility. So overall I highly recommend this theater. read more

This place used to be, not the upscale theater to run to. Well they have upgraded and boy and a big way. The theater that I watched my movie in actually shows the screen on all three walls of the theater. So it actually looks like the movie is playing all around you. That was super awesome. The four stars is for the chairs, there are no recliners and no seed heaters no massage chairs just regular seats that will lean back your back only not legs to a certain extent. A small popcorn was $10 which of course is paying for the renovations so that's understandable all in all this theater went from a 22 8 a 4.5 Star theater. Check it out read more
