Predictable Cinemark theater experience. I'm glad they survived the pandemic and are still showing feature films. Fresh popcorn, comfortable recliners and late night movie+ Captain America=Fun Go!

It's been a hot minute since I've been back at Cinemark, and I have to say, I really missed those recliner seats! Regal Edwards just doesn't compare when it comes to comfort and value--Cinemark definitely wins. The chairs were super comfy, and the D-Box was a blast. Watching Lilo and Stitch with just the right amount of action made me feel like I was on a mini kiddie ride, in the best way possible.

Late night show with close friends, a great movie in comfortable leather'ish seats, with popcorn in hand ! Now thats what I call small blessings and a perfect beginning to a long weekend. Right next to JC Penny, this theater is running all the hit movies of the season including Barbie. We came here for an Indian regional language movie , to be more specific a Punjabi language movie which is gathering many accolades back in the home country . Pretty decent like any other Cinemark theater. The screen we were allotted had plenty space between seats so every seat could be reclined without disturbing the audience infront in any manner. That made viewing very comfortable and luxurious. ( yeah.. just make sure you don't book the very first row before the screen, then its a next exercise or a place to sleep in recliner chairs, you really can't watch the movie from that seat) . The staff was very friendly even for the midnight shift and we were able to get our unlimited popcorn buckets with butter warm and nice.

A huge screen with a comfy reclining sofa like chair! Enjoyed watching a movie with my friend indeed!

Located on the south side of the mall in Memorial City. Located upstairs and has larger seats than other theatres in a similar price range. We came to watch Dune part 2. The hallways and theatres felt a bit old and had an odor that told me a Dyson and a deep clean would be well needed. The cinematic and sound elements were fine and the reclining chairs were a decent touch. Overall, this is a decent budget price option to watch something on the big screen but it's definitely not a luxury option like iPic. The inside is old but it's definitely an option that still favors value vs splurging. No idea on the food options here as we skipped that entirely.

Our fave go to movie theater! We have been coming here for at least the last 5 years, we tried a different theater some time last year and will never cheat again! Nothing beats a comfy recliner seat, familiar friendly employees and the cleanliness! It's always so calm in the theater and the employees hype up new upcoming movies that keep us coming back! We legit visit the theater at least twice a month! It's always a pleasure running into the Manager Cole, he has been there since we first started going and remembers his regular customers! This is the main reason we decided to continue to support this theater. We have never had a bad experience!

This was the first time I decided to watch a movie at this place. Mostly we go to AMCs. The seats are all torn and old. They are simply disgusting and unhygienic. The sound system was bad and at times we were not able to hear the lyrics. Bad seats and bad sound quality. Overall a disappointing experience which ruined our movie experience. Not going back anytime soon.

Are you a Cine or a saint? If you're more Cine-ful, then this is a theatre for you. This is a nice movie theatre inside the Memorial City Mall, and if it wasn't so expensive I would probably give it a higher rating. Definitely not too bad. Could be better in terms of access, because you actually have to enter the mall to get into it, so that's kind of fun in a way unless you're in a hurry. Lots of sexy people use this mall so that's nice.

    Screen

The screen glitches and is covered in smudges, making it hard to watch. The staff, mostly disinterested teens, seem more focused on rolling their eyes than helping. I wouldn't recommend it.

Cleanliness has improved since my last visit. Staff was friendly and the seating is comfortable. My recliner needed to be oiled. It made a very loud squeak during the movie; sorry everyone. Experience was better than last time.

The Palladium is located on a one-way freeway frontage road, so you can't make a U-turn to get there if you pass it up. But it's not one to avoid. The Palladium is not a franchise of a nationwide company named after Arthur Murray or Fred Astaire. It's a local concern, and doesn't offer as much as the other two studios I listed. I've gone to their Latin events, and here's what it looks like: They have in-house instructors, and also bring in people from outside Houston. (I wrote about California's Kathy Reyes in two prior reviews, I hope she's reading this and makes the trip to Houston some time!) They have classes, and they have dance parties. Both are run well, charging market rates. Lots of parking. One medium-sized dance floor, two smaller studios. The bar sells drinks, both alky and non-alky. Restrooms are deep in the bowels of the building, down the hall to the left. The people who come are a good company, and are fixinta learn to dance better and to have fun. The social dance community of Houston is smaller than in other cities, so there's much overlap from one instructor to another, and it's likely that you'll meet someone there who you danced with somewhere else. I haven't met any snobs yet, but you can't assume that they won't be there. I first went to the Palladium for New Years Eve. I've been several times since then. The experience was similar to others I've been to in other cities. I've had a good time, and never drove home thinking "well, that was a waste of a hundred mile drive one-way." Beaumont simply has nothing like The Palladium, likely because few people in the Coonie Triangle are interested in ballroom or Latin dancing. I encourage you to find a class or party and stop on by.

The counter service keeps things moving while the food speaks for itself. The brisket was exactly what you'd hope for: a pronounced bark, a rendered fat cap, and slices that held together until they were pulled apart. The surprise for me was the brisket taco. Instead of feeling like a gimmick, it showcased the meat in a different way, balancing smoke, richness, and fresh toppings without masking the brisket. Good barbecue restaurants know their sides matter just as much as the meat. The mac and cheese was creamy, the sausage had a satisfying snap, and the house barbecue sauce complemented rather than covered the smoke. If you're visiting Houston, this is the kind of place that reminds you why Texas barbecue has earned its reputation. Efficient counter service, excellent brisket, and enough menu variety to keep you coming back.
