The theater of my childhood! My very first theater experience was here and my most recent watch ~15 years later was also here. Obviously it has a little place in my heart. The staff are always kind, helpful, and respectful. I've never had an issue with them and they even help me figure out my Regal Unlimited perks from time to time. The building itself is old but part of me actually really enjoys it for the nostalgia-- I love being transported to the 2000's! Please never remodel. The seats themselves could be comfier since they're the traditional theater chairs. The Lynnwood location has recliners but this location tends to have more films that I want to watch. read more

I came here on holiday afternoon. The place was empty. Last time I came was super busy, messy & dirty. It was a 2 stars experience. This time was quiet & seemed clean. Staff was a bit nicer too. However, I felt pretty uncomfortable. As soon as I entered the theater, it had strong smell of old greesy carpets; and the chairs were old & felt dirty. 1. Staff & Service - (4/5) The staff were great. Super nice and respectful, and they helped me book using my military discount. Only downside is you can't do that online, you have to go in person, which kind of sucks but that's how a lot of theaters are. 2. Theater Cleanliness & Maintenance - (2/5) When we walked into our theater (Room 9), the first thing I noticed was the smell. It was terrible, I honestly wanted to leave right then, but I really wanted to see the movie. Took me about 30 minutes to get used to it, luckily that was around the end of the previews so it didn't ruin too much. The bathroom was nothing special, just looked like it needed a cleaning. My girlfriend also used the bathroom and said the floor had water all over it. 3. Concessions - (2/5) Popcorn was too salty for me, but my girlfriend liked it. They didn't have fountain drinks, only options from the fridge, which felt kind of limited for a movie theater. 4. Seating Comfort - (2/5) Seats were cushioned, so that was nice, but they were just standard folding seats. I'm a little taller so I couldn't really rest my legs or get comfortable. Not terrible, but definitely not great. 5. Visual & Audio Quality - (4/5) Even though the theater looks a bit outdated on the inside, the screens seem to be kept up to date. The actual movie looked and sounded great once it started. Overall Rating: 2.8 / 5 Stars The staff were solid and the movie quality was good, but the smell in the theater, the seating, and the limited drink options really brought the experience down. I've gone here many times, and nearly every time I've had issues with the closed captioning devices. In the past, the cupholder captioning devices have not been charged. So I've gotten in the habit of calling ahead to make sure they're charged. Today however, I learned their devices don't have enough battery to last more than an hour. So I got partway through my movie, only to have to leave because I can't understand it without captions. How disappointing and frustrating to do everything right, and still be left with an inaccessible experience. In talking with one of the wonderful managers, Evan, he informed me this is a known issue with the cupholder devices at their location. They've tried to advocate for replacement devices, only to be told the glasses captioning devices are an acceptable substitute. Anyone with an understanding of accessibility can see how people with multiple degrees of impairment may not be able to use the glasses captioning if they already wear glasses. As much as I'd like to return to my local regal, they've made it inaccessible to me. It's quite unfortunate that corporate has made the decision to ignore their customers with disabilities. The people there are lovely, and it's disappointing that their leadership doesn't support them. read more

Regal's staff is obviously underpaid and it shows because they stand there and appear to all the world like, not only do they not care; they appear that they could not care less about ANYTHING. Not movies, not service, not the customers...not work. It's not that they don't have a case for the ennui. Movie multiplexes are clawing their way back after COVID and are just beginning to see some progress. And they're trying not to overcharge to the point of being seen as price gouging. That's understandable. The problem here is that their employees are unmotivated due to having problems meeting their expenses "nut". The employers really need to increase their employees pay FOR SELFISH REASONS: the audience's enjoyment of an as yet overrated and overpriced experience! I mean, would you want to stand behind the counter inside a darkened area, in a sticky floor, selling cold, pasty "Nathan's" Hot Dogs, soft drinks that are mostly ice, stale candy and pick up other people's trash from the auditorium floor? And all that for far less than $20/hr? Even when I was 16, I would have taken maybe about 3 days of that before I walk away. And higher pay equals more motivation to keep that job...and the employees would have a higher baseline of satisfaction and giving the customer a more pleasant experience. That will be better for the employer as well (job filling stability and less employee theft, come to think of it). Recommend this entire experience to anyone? I don't think so. The movie multiplexes certainly appear like the Roman Empire just before the decline into historic nothingness. read more

I've been coming here for over a year, and really enjoy this location. Pretty good variety of film offerings, concessions, and easy parking. Really happy that this location has been screening more and more independent films, especially sci-fi and horror that you'd have to travel into the city to SIFF for. The staff are great, and it's people like Ash that help me come back again and again to this location. Friendly customer service, genuine warmth, and a neighborhood feel to this theater. The manager, Jesus, is always helpful and great. The Unlimited pass is absolutely worth it. My family routinely skips other Regal locations to come here...! Thanks, Everett Regal. Bought a ticket and drove all the way out here for a movie and upon arriving the doors were locked. It took several minutes for someone to even acknowledge me and open the door. Then upon trying to scan in my ticket I was told they were "closed" due to me arriving 5 minutes after the previews were scheduled to start. I then was told they couldn't refund my ticket, only give me a voucher which is useless because I'm never using the regal chain again. Classless. read more

Decent cinema hall. Seating and comfort level are average. The sounding was really good, matching some of the other chains. No option to purchase ticket outside. Have to get in the line where everyone buys their snack to get the tickets. That kind of sucks when you have a big group in front of you picking up their tickets and popcorn. read more

Went to see Dune Part 2. There is no one outside to buy tickets or ask questions. Everything has been switched to self service. $16.00 for a movie ticket per person which I understand but 2 bottles of Life Water cost is $8 each for something that would cost $2.25 at grocery stores and Popcorn $10 which costs them about $00.30. Once in the theater the sound is nice but the seats are so uncomfortable after sitting for 1.5-2 hours my back was going numb and my knees hurt. Walked into the men's bathroom and 2 toilets out of order only one of 4 sinks worked. Bathroom was a mess. Will I not go here again. read more

I just wish I had known that they lock the doors at 20 minutes past the last show start (@10:20 pm) since it was locked when I got there at 10;25 (yes I was terribly tardy) and my son was already inside watching the movie and expecting me to show up at any moment. This is our usual theatre and we've always enjoyed seeing our movies there and rarely do we purchase anything from the concessions. About a month ago I saw a movie and purchased my ticket at the box office. When I did this, I was offered a "free" small popcorn. The other patrons were being offered the same so I thought, they're just being nice and accepted it. I did ask if this would come from my account and was told no. Then I thought, "this sounds too good to be true" so when I got to the popcorn stand, I asked again if the points would be deducted from my account or if it was truly a kind offer? I was assured once again that it was complimentary. The following day I looked at my account and noticed a 6K+ deficit for a SMALL POPCORN purchase. I was really pissed because I'm really close to a free ticket AND I was told TWICE that this exact thing would not happen! I called to speak with Taylor (the manager) and explained the situation. He was very understanding and said he would have a complimentary ticket waiting for me at the box office. When I arrived, Shannon was the manager who helped me and she apologized for the situation, saying that she would be sure to train the staff better in the future. Just a heads up for anyone who thinks a random offer of "free" food is too good to be true! read more

The lobby & theater were clean. They no longer have ticket kiosks. You are not able to reserve a seat. It is first come first to pick. So even if you prepurchased a ticket off Atom or Fandango you could still get stuck on the front row. Or possibly not sitting with other people you came with. They don't have updated seating. Paid far too much money for popcorn/soda, which is expected. But the wildly expensive hot dogs were just absurd. Very basic boiled tasting hot dog in a cheap bun that was part soggy and part rock-hard. It's not that hard to make hot dogs, so no excuse. read more

We came here because the movie we were wanting to see played earlier than our normal theater we go to. I can't say I'm very impressed with the theater overall. The lady who sold us the tickets was rude and only gave us one military discounted ticket when we purchased 3 tickets. Not a huge deal (its only 1 dollar off the ticket price) but it's the principle behind the matter. Inside the theatre the screen was small and the seats were old. Compared to some of the other places around the area this one is lacking in many areas. I don't think we will be back here....I'd rather go to our regular place. read more

We went here twice and customer service wise and cleanliness it's good. It's just the other customers who come here. My family and I went to see the Barbie Movie a few days ago and all was good until this family comes in right in the middle of the movie. It was a mom and her very 3 rude children who kept talking and standing up during the movie. Others tried to tell them to be quiet but they didn't listen lol. Figures. Entitled parents. They were making a mess with their food and drinks and the mom was also making quite a scene being loud along with her annoying kids. She also had an infant child which would not stop crying btw. She didn't even think once about just throwing in the towel and leaving all together. Like I know you want to get your moneys worth but it isn't fair to ruin it for others who also payed to see it. Also I wanted to add that the Barbie Movie is NOT a kids movie. It's rated pg 13 for crying out loud and her kids looked around 5-8 years old. Unbelievable. The kids looked bored out of their mind which makes sense since they didn't get any of the jokes cause like I said before, its NOT A CHILD FRIENDLY FILM. Parents really need to do more research before dragging their snotty kids to these kinds of events. And the fact that many angry moms went to social media and were raging if his inappropriate it was for their kid what did they Expect?! I could tell from the trailer itself that this wasn't going to be a kids movie lol. Parents it's your own fault for not doing research before taking your annoying gremlin. Anyways it totally ruined the experience for us thanks to that horrible family. The movie itself was great but the family in front of us was completely disrespectful and inconsiderate of the rest of us who actually wanted to enjoy the movie. I feel bad for posting this since like mentioned up above, the employees here are completely fine. But the customers here suck! I would hate having to work here and deal with everyone's kids. I recently visited this cineplex to see a newly-released movie. Initially, when purchasing the ticket at the ordering window outside, I admit to being a tad confused when faced with all the options. I wasn't aware that you had to reserve a specific seat (although, to be honest, I think this is a great idea!). Still, when suddenly faced with the iPad depicting the seating charts, it was a bit confusing and, not being familiar with the set-up of this theater, I needed assistance in choosing what seat would be best for me (oh, how I miss my iPic in Redmond where I knew the configuration of each theater-room inside out!). Anyhow, I apologized to the girl helping me and the folks behind me in line for holding up the line a bit. The folks behind me and the counter-girl told me no problem, it's a bit confusing for lots of people. Then the girl asked if I qualified for the "senior discount". LOL. Walking through the expansive lobby, I was hit with a cacophony of noise from blaring arcade machines and kids yelling. And the neon lights from the signage of concession stands and these arcade games were so jarring. I was ready to pop some heavy-duty headache meds. Luckily, there was no line to exit this area, as some nice kids checked my tickets and ushered me through. The theater room that my movie was playing in was average-sized. Nothing fancy (not like iPic, for SURE), but totally fine, very clean, wide aisles on the side to walk up to one's preferred row (or pre-selected seat, rather), well-lit stairs, wide-enough seats. Not plush but totally serviceable. The movie started on time, the sound system was great, everyone in attendance behaved (i.e., no chatting, no cell phones, etc). Most new theaters have to do something to mess up the movie experience to really subtract many stars. Similarly, it's hard for them to be perfect, because part of the fun in going to the movies is going someplace where there's some real character to the surroundings. A modern mall multiplex will never really attain that. What's great about the Everett Mall theaters is what's great about most newer multiplexes--comfortable seats, terraced seating, good picture, good sound. The RCEM makes good on all those promises. They provide kiosks for picking up tickets you bought online--also standard these days. There's a big spacious lobby with plenty of arcade games to keep the kids (or the kid in you) happy. They do provide bathrooms behind the ticket-taker station, in addition to the usual lobby location. Nice touch, but...I can't comment on how regular a thing this is, but, at least last night, the ventilation could have been better. The whole hallway smelled like a nasty bathroom. read more

This theater, although in a mall parking lot, never seems to have parking. You end up driving round and around. Even with my disabled parking it was hard to find a spot. That being said, we were able to get tickets easily (it was earlier in the day) and even had some Regal Rewards coming to us. The theater itself was clean, we had just finished drinks and appetizers before we came, so we passed on our free popcorn or sodas. I appreciated that the disabled seating was not smack in the front row causing a headache. It was situated near the middle. Although I still don't understand why disabled seating only ever has 2 seats together. Any way....went to see "Bad Moms". Theater wasn't overly packed, it was comfy, and conveniently close to the restrooms (for us real moms when we laugh too hard). Bathrooms were clean, but I REALLY hate those hand dryers over the sinks...so I'm glad there are still 2 on the walls. The lobby has concessions, customer service, and arcade games. They did however close that side entrance into the mall...so if you want to ship before or after you have to walk all the way around to get in or out of the mall. read more

I like having such a large theater available in Everett. It is kind of the go to place for movies. It has so many screens! And with the different types of 3D and surround, it has something that most people would like in terms of viewing/movie formatting. Parking is NEVER an issue here. It's got ready access to the local buses too if you need that. And with close access to some of the mall eateries, I think this makes for a really pleasant outing. read more

Before the 4pm movie started there was 30, yes 30 minutes of ads (not movie previews) . The ads were repeated several times. I will never go back to that theater again.. read more

The staff was absolutely amazing! I left behind a medical remote after watching a movie only realizing after I drove home. I called up and was told once the next showing was over the staff would check. I returned to the theatre and the staff let me right in to check the theatre only to have another staff member come up and tell me it was safe and locked at lost and found. Meh. It definitely isn't my best movie theater experience. My mom and I decide to go see the latest Jurassic Park installment. She paid out the butt for these premium RBX tickets and so I outfitted us with nerdy matching Jurassic Park shirts for the movie, in return. All was going well. We purchased the tickets online to bypass buying them at the counter. We scanned the tickets and off to see Jurassic Park we went! This is where my experience went downhill. Granted, I live in Los Angeles and hadn't seen a movie outside of LA county in a long time, but a theater's a theater, right? They should all be somewhat similar, I would think. This was the most no-frills theater I've ever been in. The seats were not spacious by any means. They didn't recline, weren't plush...nothing! There was absolutely ZERO amenities in this theater and if it were a bargain theater I'd totally be cool with that, but it's not. The screen also didn't seem big at all and the only thing I can say was the sound was great, but that was it. I would recommend going for a matinee or something otherwise it just doesn't feel worth it. read more

This is a totally decent mid range theatre. It is cleaner than some and has less amenities than others. But it is conveniently located with an entrance outside of the Everett mall, with much easier parking than you will find at Alderwood. Every time I have come here, the staff was generally pleasant, the bathrooms were clean enough, and the seats were comfortable. Aiming either for very early or very late showtimes has usually meant we could enjoy an almost empty theatre, and on one occasion we had the entire place to ourselves. If you are low-carb or keto, they have cheese crisps at the concession stand too! There being a few more options for a snack beyond popcorn and candy is appreciated. read more

As far as movie theaters go, as long as it's clean, not overcrowded, and plays new movies, I like it! I also have the regal rewards card and have already earned a free drink and free popcorn and I used them right away. Can't go wrong with free! The only thing here is that parking can be a hassle since it's part of the Everett Mall so we've had to park far away most times. Also, movies get sold out fast if they are new and popular. We've tried showing up 3 hours early to get a ticket and kill time, but we still missed it! Our fault though, we'll know better next time. read more

I would give a full five stars if they had recliners. I've loved this theater since it opened. The seats are comfortable and it's just a few miles from home. They keep the temp inside at a comfortable level, not too hot or too cold. I always sit in the front row of the second tier so I can stretch out and put my feet up on the metal bar. My kids have grown up coming to this theater and it will always be special to my family, We love it when they have special events like $5 Christmas classic movies. The staff is always friendly and courteous and when we end up in a movie that sucks, they give us passes to attend a different movie when we walk out so long as we do it before we get too far into the film. This is just a great theater and I'm sure that as they age, they'll remodel with those recliners at some point and then they'll be perfect read more
