This Regal in Oregon City is located in a strip of stores including a Safeway and a couple restaurants making the location pretty ideal. I have never seen it busy within this theater or in any of the auditoriums which I appreciate as I've never had to wait in line for concessions or had any issues with other movie goers during a showing. The staff working the concessions have also been nice to me and I've never had any issues with ordering here. The seating in the auditoriums has a reclining feature which makes it easier to get comfortable while watching the movie. Overall, there is nothing I have seen at this theater that has wowed me, but they do have cheaper tickets on Tuesdays and I've also never had any issues with this theater. If you are around the Oregon City area and looking for a movie to watch, I would definitely recommend this theater. read more

How fun was this place! Three very senior citizens ventured in for an afternoon movie. It was the first showing of the day and how kind and patient everyone was with us! We had a lovely time, enjoyed the movie (Imagine 2) very much, and we didn't even fall asleep in the recliners! The hot dogs were even great! For elderly people navigating a place like this can be a bit intimidating but here, even the parking was easy for us. Thank you again and again. read more

When we first got to the theater, we had a very nice employee help us buy our tickets, and the Mufasa movie popcorn bucket and drink package. My son who just turned seven had gotten some gift cards and he is a huge Lion King fan. The theater was super clean and the recliners were really comfortable. Bathrooms were too! Bonus! Since my son is little, I didn't want to leave him during the movie to go get the free refills of the popcorn bucket and soda. At the end of the movie, we went out to the lobby and asked if we could get our free refills before we left to go home. The first thing out of a different employee's mouth was did you buy these today, we often have folks try to sneak in and then ask for refills. No hello, no how can I help you. This employee, possible management was rather gruff and unpleasant. I had the receipt in my purse and asked if they wanted to see it. No, no they said. We were excited to find a new theater to go to. Sadly, not sure if we will again. Just be kind. I get that people do that.... But why not just be pleasant and ask for the receipt. Comfortable spot for a movie! Popcorn was fresh and the staff was quick to get through the long line of customers. The building needs some general updates, however a good amount of updates have been made in the last few years. My soda did not taste quite right and the staff was friendly and made the situation right by giving me a refill of a different flavor. read more

Why haven't I been here sooner? That was the first thought I had when I stepped into the theater last week. My husband and I came here for the Tuesday night screening of Dumb Money. Tickets are half price on Tuesday's for regal members. As if that weren't enough, the theater was immaculate and had reclining seats. Plus the guy who sold us our tickets was friendly and fun to talk to. It's good when someone in the theater has positive things to say about the film you're about to see. Lol Unfortunately, the tickets are sold at the concession stand, so you are waiting forever for your ticket. The movie had already started by the time we finished up in line. This is my new favorite theater. Came here for Date Night. We wanted to see Black Panther and had free movie passes. After some googling. We found Hill Top Mall. More googling. Directions in hand. We made our way up the hill. We came on a sunday in the afternoon and there was no waiting. Bought our tickets with ease and got some popcorn. After finding our seats we really found the gem here. "The Seats Recline" & There is an Ottoman that pops out! Plus the middle section folds up for more comfortable options. Large Drink Holder and wide arm rests make these chairs the most comfortable theater chairs I have ever sat in. We're seeing a movie again tonight. Guess what my motivation is? The screen is a great size. Wide isles. I really like this theater. read more

So I'll start off my saying that I'm a long time cinnemark member & haven't been to OC Regal in many years. I hate the longer drive to Clackamas but our discount is too good not to go. I had a regal gift card to use & I was sooo excited to go again for the nostalgia & a quick, quiet theater so close to home. That excitement immediately went away at the concessions counter when, what we think was a manager, came to check my sister's ID for a whiskey slush she wanted to order. He made a comment about her change of hair & eyebrow arch..to which she casually agreed as she's now a red head & not a blonde..we thought it was just a comment being made, until he told her he doesn't go by the hair, he can tell by looking at the eyebrows. Then he went on to tell her that her arch shape is completely different than the photo. At this point we think he's kidding but he seriously says he doesn't feel comfortable serving her & that he can't. We were left in shock. It so happened that the people at the counter next to us sat by us in the theater & asked us later what happened. How embarrassing to be called out like that because of some guy's power trip & over analyzing of an EYEBROW ARCH. This isn't the place you come to get sloshed, it was one drink, & if we were really trying to swindle a slushee I would've just ordered it myself as I'm more noticeably almost 30. My sister even started showing him her bank cards & he wouldn't be bothered. Later in the night we went to other well established businesses, and as usual, she had zero problem with her ID. To accuse an adult of committing the crime of a fraudulent ID at a movie theater is just ridiculous. Came here to see Star Wars IV and really enjoyed it. Comfy, reclining seats with leg rests. My only complaint is that the bathroom is way on the other side of the building from the screens, so be sure to go before your movie starts! But I would definitely come back. read more

Having used to work at this theater many years back, I have to say I am pretty pleased with the results of the remodel they did a couple of years ago. For what you get, this theater is pretty reasonably priced for a high end location to catch your next favorite film franchise. Reserved luxury seating, top quality dinner options, flavorful fresh popcorn and pretty clean theaters make this a pretty good choice of the many theaters in the area. The pricing here is also cheaper than other luxury theaters around and that includes ticket price as well as food. My only issue is the food delivery system can leave a little to be desired as anyone can pickup your food by mistake instead of what hey ordered. The theater also has some video games in the lobby which can help with passing the time before your movie starts as well as pretty clean and conveniently located restrooms. read more

My husband and I are both Regal UnLimited members. A while back, Regal Cinemas closed the ticket booth outside, forcing customers to stand in long concession stands to purchase tickets. So, we started buying tickets online. Unfortunately, the app does not allow us to purchase seats together. We were told it was because of Covid. For the record, I sit next to my husband all the time! In the afternoon we bought tickets D1 and C1. We arrived at the theater early. When we checked in we asked that they change C1 to D2. We were told that we need to purchase a new ticket, and and request a refund. How ridiculous! We said we were sitting in D1 and D2 and for the Regal employees to figure it out. As the previews were ending, customers arrived with tickets for D2. We went back to the lobby and spoke with the manager. Guess what! The only seats remaining were on the front rows. Solutions offered included, 1. free tickets to another movie ( We have Unlimited!), free popcorn, free admission for a friend, and profound apologies for corporates' shortcomings. In the end, we, who pay every month for Unlimited movie tickets, bought our tickets online, 5 hours before the movie began, and informed the Regal employee when we checked in about the problem with our seats, ended up being bumped from our seats! Theater was clean. Love the reclining seats with plenty of room. Loved the assigned seating. Not overcrowded. Staff were nice. Movie itself was fantastic. Great sound/Vision. Lost a star because 1) the theaters weren't marked to indicate which movie was which and there was no indication on the tickets so we had to ask, got directed to the wrong theater (same movie but different start time) so had to ask a second time. 2) Pepsi products, and no coffee. 3) minimal candy and snack selection. Staff and management need to be trained again on Digital Cinema Projection practices. Of the four screenings I have attended the past two months, three of them have kept their projectors on 3D projection settings for 2D screenings. The two image projection keeps the close-up in focus which means most theater goers don't notice, but in dimly lit scenes, establishing shots, and any text on screen there is a blurring that wears on the eyes over the course of the screening. I have asked staff to adjust this on multiple occasions, but it seems they are incapable or not interested in providing an accurate projection. I love the reserved seating and the chairs. Please, please be more diligent with your projector settings for each screening. read more

I wish I could give this theater 5 stars. I really do. The reason it is receiving 3 instead of 5 is because the bathroom stalls are so narrow and they are always filthy! Also, the employees at the theater are very young... and it shows. They are always goofing off, talking about their drama, or they are nowhere to be found. I've been here approximately 5 times and I recall two times where we purchased our tickets, walked inside, and nobody was there to check our tickets. Now, the good stuff! The theater! The seats are either leather or a good fake leather! They are so comfortable and the recline! It's the only way to watch a movie in the theater!! I come here just for the seats. read more

I live in Gladstone, and we've tried to come here for 3 years, and every time we make the drive over there, there are no two seats together! We were there about 20 min early too. I have only ever had positive experiences here. Two days ago my wife and I took our girls to see the greatest showman. It was a great experience all around. I love the recliners they have. Very nice set up. Plus you buy tickets and concessions all in one place. It's very excellent. I think this may be my favorite cinema. It's the perfect spot for family night, and even better for date night! You really can't beat them. Tried to get a refund multiple times for a show that circumstances wouldn't allow us to make. Spent 30 minutes repeatedly calling the theater before getting someone, was told they "couldn't do anything" and that I'd need to call their support line. Their support line said the center was closed, and directed me to an email address. That email address told me to go onto the ticket confirmation email and request a refund from there. The link sent me to a page that told me a refund wasn't possible because the movie was less than 60 minutes until show time. Had I gotten a response at any point prior to that 30 minutes, or the person had been able to tell me about the email link, this all might have been avoided. Honestly one of the most worst experiences with customer support I've had. Clearly it's not just this location, but the company Regal Cinemas itself that is a rolling dumpster fire. read more

Super disappointed in Regal hilltop tonight, would have been one star if it wasn't for the poor manager. So instead of selling tickets outside "because people don't want to wait outside" they had 4 lines inside, I was unfortunate enough to get in the wrong line... the other lines went faster but not by much, my line was a cluster... some guys gf spilt beer and they were being sloppy and forever to move along, this wasn't a typical brief hold up but I was waiting a good 7-10min going no where while the other lines where moving, nothing was done to help resolve this problem they just one line sink instead of integrating with other lines to speed up the process. I talked to the manager he said they were "trying something new" sadly what they are trying is not working. Long story short I didn't get to watch my movie. read more

While I do miss cheap movie night several years ago (think it was Wednesdays and $5?) this theatre is great. They installed much nicer seats that are comfortable and recline. This resulted in less seats and a more intimate setting, but new popular movies often fill up fast. I'd recommend going online and picking seats in advance (unfortunately there is a fee for this) or at least check out the seating situation before just going there. Nice and clean and in a great location. The staff is friendly enough and they have upgraded the seats in the theater so they recline. Maybe one downside might be the size of this theater, but they are still going to be playing the most popular movies. i wish i could give them less than a 1 star rating. i'm so disappointed. i thought regal theaters were doing social gaps because of covid. i guess they did it for like 1 month then completely stopped. i walked to my seat and there was someone sitting right next to me. less than 1 foot away. i felt so uncomfortable. he was unmasked, and smelt like cigarettes. while covid cases are rising in oregon, and every other state in the US. i thought regal would have the decency to provide social gaps. maybe it's just the regal in oregon city. i went to a regal in salem and they provided social gaps. so maybe it's just the greedy owners, or greedy managers at the oregon city regal who don't care about public health or safety. and they don't even check if you're vaccinated. i refuse to come back to this location until they bring back the social gap. and i will be telling ALL of my friends, family, and coworkers not to come to this OREGON CITY, location. i thought since delta and omicron are becoming a big deal more people would care. guess not. Always new staff who are working at 30% speed, and the popcorn is always shrapneled and useless remnants rather than actual fully popped kernels. For $10 a bucket, so like 3000% markup, you'd think a movie chain would try a little harder. We loved the Hilltop Theater before the remodel. It was never crowded, to the point that we were concerned that they wouldn't keep it open. We got spoiled knowing we could show up to any movie 5 minutes before it was starting and end up with good seats. The remodel severely reduced the number of seats available. However, the seats are so awesome, who really cares! My wife is not the tallest person in the world and before, we always had to wonder if some super tall person was going to sit in front of us, resulting in us either moving (if that was an option) or her staring at the back of a head along with half a screen for 2 hours. Not anymore! The way they spaced the seats, I'm pretty sure Robin Lopez could sit in front of her and she would still be fine. Someone else complained about the reserved seating and the time it took to select seats. Yes, the first time we went it was a bit of a surprise to have them asking where we want to sit and yes, we stared at the screen for a good 20 seconds trying to decide. Well, now we know, as does everyone else who goes more than once, and it literally takes an extra 5 seconds to do. Personally we like it. While you are waiting in line for popcorn you don't have to wonder what the seating situation is going to be when you walk in the theater. We haven't taken advantage of the beer and wine offerings, but the list looked good. The place is always clean, restrooms nice, and the people are very friendly. We love this place! read more

This so far this is a great remodel! !...Just sat down with hubby in these oversized recliners. There is plenty of room for someone to get by even with the chair out!!!..Large drink cup holders and plenty of room in each chair for " your not so average person ". I'm sold!!!!. In addition to this ,is being able to purchase wine and beer for your movie watching experience. ..yes it's a tad expensive but it's all about the experience and convenience . Popcorn is still awesome and not what your gonna get at home!! The customer service was spot on, quick and very polite..... people, please don't come to the theater and complain about prices..we know this before we get here. It's an experience... not price $. New, black leather recliners and still enough aisle room for people to walk by and you don't have to worry about someone kicking the back of your seat! Reserved seating so you can take your time getting your food and drink and not rush to save good seats. Popcorn is great too, I put a lot of value on whether a theater has good popcorn or not. Very upset, I proposed to my fiancé on Valentine's Day, and purchased tickets to dead pool as a finish to an unforgettable day. They changed rooms because more people bought tickets and moved us to "comparable"seats without any notice. They guy at the entry gave us our new seats which seamed comparable, then 5-10 minuets into our movie we were interrupted by the same guy who gave us our new seats and were made to move to seats way off screen. So first off I stay around Bridgeport Village Regal, wanted to try recliners at hill top, movie started off great, recliners were amazing, until the movie cut off. I had then started a timer on my phone to see the response time, after 25mins me and my date decided to just call it and take off. I politely asked to see a manager for some sort of a compensation for their technical errors producing a movie to watch, was greeted with "there's nothing I can do and the manager isn't able to greet you".While waiting for the 25 mins, the entire audience was not greeted by staff, for an announce to a solution, as angry customers fled to alert the staff. Love this theater! Very spacious reclining seats in all the theaters, great popcorn, you can get beer, wine or even alcoholic slurpee's. My husband and I tend to go to the first or second show of the day, so there are not usually long lines for concessions. I also disagree with the bathrooms being dirty...but then again we go in the morning and they probably have to be cleaned the night before. My only complaint is because it is a Regal theater and all the Regal theaters around tend to show the same movies there is not a lot of variety in the area...wish they would bring in an independent film every now and again. read more

Packed Friday night but not selling tickets from booth, have everybody in huge lines at concessions. Manage to get the slowest line, with an employee who has 0 sense of urgency, move with purpose man come on. Movie we want to see only has three seats left in very front row, rolls his eyes when he tells me to pick my seats. Order popcorn and sodas, including tickets at $44. Ok, is what it is these days. But then he uses our cups to scoop ice into them, not using an ice scooper, which is required by health code. When I point this out to him, how he's handling cash and cards, then touching cups that are making contact with ice in the bin he stares at me for a good second and asks if I want them scooped again. Man, the whole ice bin is contaminated, what's the point? I ask to speak with a supervisor to point this out, he turns around, says they're busy pouring alcohol. Okay.... go let them know a customer would like to talk to them maybe? Sup comes over, asks what the problem is, I tell her what just transpired and Jaden starts to argue about how his hands are clean. They're not washing their hands between transactions, he's touching cash and cards, his hands are not clean. At this point, I had to ask for a refund and leave. Going out to the movies is an experience, only reason to pay for $10 popcorn and $7 soda. You guys have already ruined the experience, I'd rather drive across town to the Century theater at the mall. I just bought a house five mins from this theater, but I won't be back. read more

I would just like to state that I do not think it is morally right to charge full "recliner seat" price to wheelchair-bound people. My husband provides his own chair and has to sit in the very back of the theater, in an assigned "seat" with a ticket that costs just as much as the recliner seat that I am sitting in. Regal tickets purchased from Costco are assessed an additional fee to cover the cost of the recliners - again, even if you bring your own chair. The recliners are certainly comfortable, the sound quality is good, the theater has been clean and the employees friendly. Can't see the bottom of the screen from the back row though...just tops of chairs and heads. Sad. read more
