    Sampler Appetizer
    Frederick N.

This location seems to be something different every year. Items that were ordered. Large cheese pizza ***free*** Appetizer sampler which contained: fries, two mozzarella sticks, two chicken wings, two chicken tenders and onion rings ***$6.95*** Clam strip plate.***$9.95*** The prices were great. Pretty right on what I expected for quantity. The quality was good. Just a simple place. The pizza was pretty good as well. The only thing I didn't like was the amount of Clam strips and they were just not good. If the pizza wasn't free I would probably be leaving a 3 star. It's what was expected. All came HoT to my door. So you leave a $5 tip for the driver and everyone is happy. They have a lot of Spanish type cuisine on the menu, will probably try some of that next time. I will return to try more.

Looks better than it tasted. Read my 2nd updated review and my 1st...totally 2 different experiences...cmon regal lets go back to our roots

The food looked presentable upon arrival, but from just opening my quesadilla and seeing the multiple hairs in it, I walked out. Disgusting.

Well, they are around average! You can't ask for five star service from a delivery service these days, but these guys are at least competent

Recently I was craving seafood BIG TIME. As a native Mainer who has lived in the area now for over…read more15 years, it can be tough to find places that serve "traditional" lobster dinners. (Typically consist of steamers, lobster, a baked potato and some corn on the cob if you're lucky). My husband found Turner's while doing a search for a place that would come close to giving me what I was looking for, and they delivered! We started off with the steamers. They're to die for... so tender, no sand in the bellies, and the broth? OOH the broth. It's delectable. It adds flavor that complements the clams perfectly (doesn't overwhelm them at all). My hard shell lobster was incredibly delicious. I'm usually a soft shell gal, but I will take whatever is offered - as long as the meat isn't tough, I'm fine to do the extra work. (It's part of the fun). The tail was split, which is helpful for people who don't know their way around a lobster- for me, I'd prefer it whole, so that's the only (extremely small!) thing I'd change next time. My baked potato and carrots were tasty and the waitress was attentive, kind, and she also had a sense of humor. My husband and I had an awesome evening, and we will be back!

It's your basic Italian seafood place. There is a singular type of clientele inside, which tells you how your experience will go. We got tuna "tacos" (more like crudo) as appetizers. This was the best part of the night. The tuna was delicious. For our mains, I got the New England Bouillabaisse and my friend got a fish dish. The food was on the salty side, it's great to have this down the road instead of having to go down to north end. We ended the night with the flourless cake. Our server was very friendly! But the food was just ok. Drive a little farther and get some Mexico Lindo instead.

We were in a completely empty restaurant but they still managed to sit a very loud party right next to us. Ordered a glass of Cabernet- fairly decent pour. Salad dressing delicious- not crazy about the dark green top leaves from the romaine- this is the part I throw out- but definitely edible. My husbands fish was fresh - small portion, mashed potatoes starchy, veg was good - small portion. I had the haddock francase- tiny portion of fish- the sauce was delicious but saturated the 'breading' kind of wrecking it (maybe put the sauce on the side?). Risotto awful. Bread was freshly baked- the crusty part was good-inside seemed a little undercooked. That was my husband's birthday dinner.... Opted to stop at the local grocery store for desert- best thing we ate all day!

If you stick with the seafood, you're going to have a great meal. That said, keep in mind it is a seafood restaurant. They have chicken wings on the menu, we figured we'd get them to share until the food came out.. They were honestly terrible. The order we received came with six extremely small, overcooked pieces that were so dry and tough looking they weren't even edible. Just looking at them we didn't bother as they weren't at all appetizing. I'm not sure if it was a bad day, a supply issue, or something else entirely, but they were a complete miss. Speaking of, service can be hit or miss as well. This past weekend, we had a wonderful server who was friendly, attentive, and made the experience enjoyable. The visit before that, however, was the exact opposite. Our server--who seemed to be either a manager or assistant manager--spent nearly all of his time chatting up a table of women, clearly trying to get phone numbers. Trying to get his attention for anything felt like a major inconvenience. What motivated me to write this today is that not only was the service good on our latest visit, but we also tried the fried seafood instead of the usual seafood boil--and it was absolutely excellent, and not at all expensive. Both the fried shrimp plate and the fried clam plate were outstanding. If you haven't tried their fried options, or not in the mood to put on gloves and dig into a seafood boil, don't sleep on their fried seafood. It was surprisingly impressive. Overall: great seafood, inconsistent service, avoid the wings entirely, and definitely give the fried dishes a try.
