When my fiancé later called to discuss the situation, the manager was argumentative and rude, saying things like, "Well, she looks like she gets her nails done, she should know," and "If she's old enough to get her nails done alone..." even though she wasn't alone and was there with her older cousin. The issue was never the final price itself -- it was the lack of communication and the way the situation was handled afterward. A simple explanation or apology would have gone a long way, but instead the conversation felt defensive and disrespectful.

They put my daughter with what they deemed as a "competent technician" but her nails were poor and ruined her Prom nails completely. I only had an hour to get them done and if I had known Mymy wasn't there I could have scheduled at a different salon with someone reliable. I can't keep booking appts to have them disregarded by a long standing client. Mymy never even responded to my texts where I expressed discontent and I feel devalued as a client completely. I need to take my money elsewhere. Bailing on my daughter's prom nails and having them turn out so poorly without even a response was literally sadly the last straw and I can't be back spending my hard earned money there.
