Nasty dirty shop. The lady did a pedicure, did NOT wash her hands and came to do my manicure. Later on, she put a ton of lotion on her hands, rubbed her arms down with it and then proceeded to rub my hands and arms without washing her hands. I won't go there again. I, like Cat C. would give Zero stars to this Regal Nails location in Tucson where had the worst experience ever! The technician that did my nails cut ALL but 2 of my fingers with the drill. Not once, did he stop to ask if I was ok, and acted as if he didn't notice that I was bleeding!!! He didn't bother to put an antiseptic on the cut fingers. The nail polish job was also despicable. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he TRIED, but the polish was lumpy and bumpy and looked just plain awful. I then got a pedi by a different technician, who noticed my fingers were bleeding, blood literally running down my fingers. She immediately put and antiseptic on my fingers and stopped the bleeding. She said something to the guy in their language. The man did not even turn to look at me or acknowledge what he had done. The woman was so apologetic, but he did not give a damn. I went home in tears from the pain I was in. The next day, my husband I went back to show that man what my fingers looked like, as the cuts looked worse the next day and hurt horribly. The man refused to give me my money back and said that 'I received a service' and he would not give me my money back. Without me realizing, as I was still sitting there arguing with this guy, the nice lady that did my pedi, gave my husband a refund. I got the $35 Deluxe pedicure that was done by the female manager. Poor service and bums rush except it took much longer because the lady was constantly talking with other customers and employees. The last next to me came in 20 min later, got started before need c and got a far superior service end to end than my experience and she paid only $20 for the basic pedicure. I did not get the $35 pedicure or service, I did not even get the $20 level. Not coming back. I know this is a commodity business but I I expect far better service. read more

I would give this business 0 stars if I could. literally walked in when they had NO ONE and asked for a polish change and reshape and the technician said "No, go somewhere else. we don't do that here" how do you not do polish changes. I went to Walmart customer service and even the employees here say they are rude and get tons of complaints. read more

If I could give them a NO star I would. I got an infection from being cut by the gal while having a pedicure. I yelped and told her she cut the nail too short and that I would probably get an ingrown toenail from that. She said "yes yes yes an ingrown toenail...I have to cut it down!"; then proceeded to "dig" into the side of the nail until she cut the toe.The work station was dirty, she did not apply a disinfectant immediately after she cut me. I have a swollen, red, hot infected big toe. It is red all around the nail bed, swollen and "angry". I had to go into hospital a few days later for heart surgery and the surgical nurse said I had an infection and needed antibiotics, which I got from my PCP a week later as it was still infected. Even though I soaked it daily in hot water and Epsom salt, along with treating it with hydrogen peroxide and Neosporin antibiotic cream. My PCP tole me if the antibiotics don't work they will have to remove the nail and that if that happens I should take the nail into the owner and show him/her! I cant even touch my toe on clothing when getting dressed it is SO sensitive. Throbs constantly. I have pictures that I wish I could post here. Then I got a "manicure" from another technician (and I use that term very loosely). My fingernails are not done that well either. She trimmed and filed them into squares that were ragged and torn.The sides of some of them aren't covered totally with polish and the topcoat she used was cheap obviously since the polish started wearing off on day TWO. I agree with other reviewers who said that the employees talk talk talk (chatter really) to each other non-stop in their own language and don't pay attention to what they are doing. I suggest STAYING away from this place. I can't believe they are still open. They need to be reported to the health department. read more

I've been going to this place for about 7 years and love the service. Not all the technicians are great, some have more experience. The only thing that bothers me is, when the snowbirds are here they get so busy, they don't have time for the year around clients. I don't feel welcome at times. I removed my own acrylic nail and have been it 3-4 time a day, for days. The center of my nail is red also. It kept me up all night the night it was done, throbbing. The other nails are not done that well either. the sides of some of them aren't covered totally with polish. I'm not the kind of person who likes to complain, but this was a bad experience. I hope they clean things up. I did call the manager, with hopes that they will change their practices. If the station looks dirty, don't stay. If they nick you, insist on it being treated immediately! read more

While at WalMart, I looked in at Regal Nails and decided to give it a try for a pedicure as they were not busy at all. Service went as follows. Male manicurist looked up about every 10 seconds to watch Sunday football throughout the entire pedicure. At times, he simply stopped the service to watch football. Asked for callous remover (extra 10.00) it was applied and immediately rinsed off...no brushing, foot filing, nothing...then on to lotions and hot towels. I kept thinking this has to get better, but it didn't. Total 35.00 plus 5.00 tip. You decide if this is your idea of good, solid, attentive service. For me, NO, decided against a manicure, and I left him watching his football game. Such a waste of my money and time during an extremely busy season. Went in there for a fill with my friend and I encountered Kevin with a jade Buddha necklace. I've been doing my nails for a very long time and I knew he didn't do it right. Instead of redoing my nail that had semi popped off he glued it down and proceeded to do my fill. I had just had a new set done before this visit and his first comment was that I needed a new set. No Kevin, this is a new set. I wasn't very pleased of his responses or his demeanor. He didn't even shape my nails right I had bumps where he filed them down with the machine. He also charged me for making them a little shorter,he said they were too long. Really? After a week the nail that had semi popped off before popped off again of course. So I had to glue it down until I saw my real nail tech. After two weeks of having this fill I had to go into my real nail tech that knows what she is doing to find out that I had fungus growing under my fills and on my nails already. I had to take off my new set and get arcrylic over my real nails until they grow out more! I will NEVER go in there EVER AGAIN! read more

Please please please do not go here!! If I could give this zero Stars I would. I went in with a friend and we were getting acrylics done with regular nail polish the lady that was doing my nails was extremely rough. The other lady that was doing my friends Nails offered her free gel on her fingernails. When we explained that I was the one paying for both of our nails they said they would put gel on my nails as well. The two ladies doing our nails started arguing in a different language and my lady even rolled her eyes at me. I asked them what the problem was and the manager ended up walking over which then I explained the situation. Long story short they lied to both of us they put for fingernails on my friends in gel polish the others were regular polish and they put a regular top coat on her nails. On mine we never put the gel on my nails and did not tell me until I asked them if she was going to put my nails under the light. The lady then lied to the manager and told the manager that she did not know we did not want gel polish after I had explained that she offered it to us for free and then lied about giving it to us. Upon getting up and leaving because we were extremely uncomfortable from the two workers arguing the manager never apologize or offered a solution. We had to go to a different salon to get our nails fixed. The other Salon was absolutely appalled at the quality of work we received. The nails were different sizes there was extreme amounts of glue underneath the nails and on the fingertips my friend had a severe cut under her thumb and of course we had half gel and half regular polish on her fingernails. I called Regal Nails back spoke to the manager and he told me the only way he was going to refund me as if we came back in the store the same day and they remove our acrylic nails. There is no way you can get acrylics off your nail the first day you get them on it would be extremely painful and wrong for a manager to even suggest that. After he told me that I told him it was not right for him to do that and I asked him for the owner information of this salon. He refused to give me the owner information and he then hung up on me after telling me to not call back. I contacted the corporate number for Regal Nails and I am still waiting to hear back after I put in my complaint they are supposed to be contacting the owner of the salon. Do not go here. You will waste your money they are extremely rude. read more

I recently went into Regal Nails I had been going there for years and stopped going for unknown reasons. Nothing bad just tried elsewhere well long story short I came back and had a few bad incidents. I did not know that a now former employee had done my nails so poorly that I developed a fungus. I did rant on fb but I was not in any shape or form complaining about the nail tech who rectified the situation. A young woman named Moon went to great lengths to make my nails beautiful again. Nails still were not to par but after speaking to the manager and staff my nails are looking great. I appreciate the work they put in and apologize to anyone who thought I was complaining about the nail tech or the company itself. I tried to delete the first review and fix my statement but once it is out there I guess no deleting. I do hope all reads this and will continue to go to Regal Nails. I have probably had every one of their employees give me a pedicure - and other than one or two times that I was not 100% satisfied, they are all excellent.
