I'm a creature of habit and have been getting gel polish only on my natural nails for years but the second it starts to lift, I immediately peel it off. I prefer my natural nails and don't love extensions but needed them last time. I'm so happy I got the gel builder because this stuff is indestructible and didn't lift after two+ weeks. I did not say anything while I was there because I am a shy person but I think the owner should not allow her daughter to work with her if she does not know what she is doing. the French tips she did were a 4/10
