Great service--this was my first time here! I came in on a rainy Friday evening since they were able to get me in after a cancelation. I usually get a dip manicure, but the owner explained hard gel, which I had never tried, so I decided to try it out. It's been 2.5 weeks and my nails still look good, no chips, cracks, or anything, and just a little grown out. I'll be able to go every 3 weeks with hard gel now. I've converted!! read more

I looked up best nail salon around me and this one came up. I called to see if they had time for a pedicure that day and they said no we are booked for 2 weeks. I was impressed! I have never had to wait for an appointment for more than a day so this answer made me want to book with them to see what the fuss was all about. When I finally got my appointment I found out why the good reviews. This is a family owned business that knows how to treat their clients. when I walked in they were all waiting for me already. I was sat right away and asked my name. The whole appointment they called me by my name and made small talk when prudent. They gave us a variety of colors to choose from for our pedicure and took amazing care of my feet. He scrubbed until my heels were soft (around 10 min of scrubbing ) When it came time for the color she put the color on and asked if I liked it when I wasn't sure she did 2 more toes. I didn't end up liking the color because it was not dark enough and the girl laughed (she knew i wasn't going to like it based on what I had told her I wanted, but it was me that insisted on that color) and changed my color to a one I loved! I have never had that happened where I feel comfortable enough to speak up and have them change my color. That moment was when they convinced me to come back! I love this place family owned business that makes you feel welcome and treat you like friends. I have come back every time ever since. We were in desperate need of pedicures as it had been way too long! It was a comedy of errors calling different salons and traffic was not cooperating. We found Vy Vy Nails and they had five stars, a rare thing for a nail salon. It was getting close to their closing time, but a call to them asking about an appointment made it easy to see why they had that rating! A very friendly man talked to my wife, and when she explained that traffic was delaying us, she was told, "Michelle, we will stay here until midnight for you!" When we arrived, we found there were three workers helping customers, including the owner, Seng, who had answered the phone. Wow, he was the nicest guy! When we walked in the door, he called out, "Michelle!" He also asked for my name and then used it throughout our visit. He knew every other customer by name, something not a lot of businesses take the time to do. It was clear that he really cared about his business and the customers! We were very well cared for the entire time, definitely being pampered. There was friendly and fun banter the entire time of our pedis. It could not have been a better experience. Such quality work, friendly atmosphere, and value! We went to pay and when we were told it was just $35 each for each pedicure, we were floored! That was way undervalued for the treatment we received. If we could give Vy Vy ten stars, we would! read more

Best nail salon ever. We made an appointment and when we walked in the door we were greeted so enthusiastically! The salon is very clean and well organized. We were handed the nail samples to see the colors and what they would actually look like. Unlike other places we were sat immediately. It had been at least 7 weeks since my last pedicure and I was grateful that they didn't point and laugh at my ugly toenail talons - super professional, yet friendly. Originally came in for an acrylic manicure, but I found out this place does not offer that service. And I can see why! They were very gentle in explaining to me why acrylic is so harmful, and instead gave me a hard gel manicure which I actually love more than acrylic. I will never go back to acrylic nails ever again. Ivy is a wonderful manicurist and did such an amazing job. This is by far the best my nails have ever looked and I will be returning to this place for the high quality and great price.
