We both got mani-pedis with dip manicure. I did an update for the pedicure for the extra filing of my feet. Disclaimer.... My feet are still smooth a month later! I've never had dip nails done before but my nails have only grown out, with no chipping, cracking, or breaking. The husband and wife owners worked on us and kept us entertained when great conversation the whole time. I literally slammed my right hand in the car door the following day and none of the smashed nails fell off until after a week and a half of growth and additional stress on the damaged hand only- my left hand is grown out af but still in immaculate shape. The wedding was the last weekend of April. That's chaos-tested and approved nail craftsmanship!
