We called A-1 and LaRoy made to 40 minute trip to the land and was able to fix the compressor on the spot. Then the sandblaster was leaking sand and not getting a high enough PSI to get the job done. LaRoy brought it back to A-1 and was generous enough to drive it back to the land to make sure it worked. I was delayed 5 hours and not able to finish the job. I returned the equipment as originally planned and was offered a free day to have the equipment to finish the job. Great offer but i had to take off work and cant leave my exposed steal frame out for a week until i cant sandblast again. Overall ok experience. LaRoy deserves this 5 star review with his friendly and knowledgeable demeanor.

They service what they sell too. The only reason they didn't get 5 Stars is that they won't deliver on a Saturday and that makes it harder when you need the equipment delivered for your second home. Other than that a terrific place to buy and service your power equipment.

Over a week before the date on which I wished to pick up the vehicle, I reserved a high-roof cargo van through the Penske web site. Right away I got a confirmation email. On the agreed upon pickup day, when I got to A1 Express Rental Center's Rice Lake place of business, they did not have the van I had reserved. Instead, they expected me to take a cube-truck that would have been way too large, and unfit for transporting our dog. There was barely enough room in the cabin for two people, but not for the dog as well. He would have been relegated to the cargo area, in complete darkness, unable to even see or hear us. Furthermore, the truck had tires with bald shoulders. It was dirty, covered with dust and leaf litter from an overhanging tree. And, frankly, it lacked even a decent amount of passenger leg room. I told the employees that A1 Express Rental Center had treated us shamefully. I lost a day of time by having to go to U-Haul in Superior Wisconsin and rent exactly the kind of vehicle I needed....at half the price that the Rice Lake outfit wanted us to pay. Lesson learned. Do not trust A1 Express Rental Center.

I had a situation where I had to get my well disinfected and retested from out of town. They were always helpful, courteous and professional but not only that, they really went above and beyond. Todd went as far as calling the village of Kronenwetter to get me an extension for our well permit as we could not disinfect the well in the winter. Also after Eric retested the well, he even dropped off the test results to the village of Kronenwetter. I can't say enough good things about them! I give them an A+++ on service. This is how great customer service should be and I would recommend them to all my family and friends! Thank you Todd and Eric!
